Nageeb Ahmed, head of the Eritrean ruling party, PFDJ, in Agordat sub-zone, arrived last Sunday in Sudan where he has sought asylum. He walked for days with his family of 9 before reaching the Sudanese border. At the border, the family was spotted by Eritrean soldiers who opened fire. His 16-years old daughter is still missing.
