Please listen again to what the Honorable Bitweded said, fear no one but the rule of LAW, we need to forgive in order to pass peace to future generation. In 20 min speech he summarized that we Eritreans have to reconcile and work for peaceful and preposterous Eritrea.
we lost a visionary and smart person. May God protect his life and get chance to meet his family and beloved ones. He knew everything at early stage while everyone is clapping for dictator without listning his speech. now we pay huge price ….total disaster which happen to the youth in the meditranean , sahara, sawa all overthe world. Now it can takes many decades to sort and fix this problem .
Dear Assenna and Aman, thank you so much for this information. General Biteweded Abrha is a national hero. I think his statement will touch every Eritrean mind. It is regrettable that his statement has been buried until now. I feel, if his speech was known and out in the 1998 or 2000, we could have saved so many lives. But Better late, than never. General Biteweded Abrha is an Eritrean and an exceptional man. A man of honor who spoke his mind and the truth. He stood his ground not only for the Eritrean independence, but for justice and liberty for all Eritrean.

General Biteweded Abrha shows the very core value of being an Eritrean. Listening to his speech, you can’t help it but to feel his statesmanship, his integrity, his love of his people more than a good life for himself and not afraid to get down and work hard. He remind us that we have history, our own law and identity, before Isaias Afwerki came to our lives. The way he spoke about his forefather’s law “Heegi Enda aba” “heegi Akle milega” Every Eritrean relates to that reality. Isaias doesn’t and can’t defined the Eritrean people, because he doesn’t know us. General Biteweded Abrha remind us that we the Eritrean people brought our independence one way or anther. We have the responsibility to make it work for us. General Biteweded spoke about respect for one another and forgiveness.

General Biteweded Abrha is a national treasure who was stolen from us. However, his message is a valuable treasure we can use. To get out of the mess we are in, we have to respect each other and forgive each other. After respect and forgiveness, trust comes naturally. That is the only way we can come together and solve our common problems. General Biteweded Abrha is telling us not to be afraid of people, but law. He is an amazing man I am grateful for Assenna and Aman for bringing his exceptional speech to light. This is my reason for respecting the Ghadil era generation, because there are and were men and women like General Biteweded Abrha. Thank you so much.

This gem clip should be broadcast enough times so as may Eritreans as possible hear it. This might explain the reason why we are paying a costly price to day. We did not stand when real heroes stepped up to the plate, and spoke in black and white what was awaiting us. Gen. Bitweded may God be with you for being a man of dignity and I salute you with humility.
I am very proud to call myself Eritrean today. We have a hero and a hero in words and deeds.I always thought we are better where we find ourselves right now.An articulate gentleman a man of honour and a man with a forsight to see what could be,would be spoke like an apostle in Eritrea. Today I am very proud to be part of Eritrea.Issaias is a sycophath and we need to find him a sanctuary. And people like Biniam Asmelash and korakur listen to this.
Dear yonas,
Some people and Isaias Afwerki have been trying to tell us that we have nothing. No history of our own, no culture, value or even a country. We are human and when we are told we are noting and have noting, there is and will be time that we feel, what they are saying is may be right. And now we are reminded that NO, We are people with history, value and integrity.
We are like any other society with good, bad and the ugly. Above all we have people like General Bitewded Abraha with incredible integrity. We should be proud to call General Biteweded Abraha our own. However, calling this great man ours is not going to be enough. We have a chance to mobilize our people and stand up for our right and pick up the pieces of our lives. Keep the General Biteweded Abraha’s vision for our people and country alive.
God bless our people and country!
We shall overcome!
