He stood for our people, he stood for our original provinces and our original Flag. {Liberation flag, Semayawit Banderana}.
This is priceless and historic to say the least. I trust it will have an enduring impact on diaspora where a mobilizing figurehead is in a dire need as we try to keep the momentum going. Most importantly however, it is imperative for the people in Eritrea to listen to his speech as they will be at a disadvantage for lack of internet connection but will benefit greatly if you can air it in your esteemed radio program.
Thank you so much Amanuel hawey. The rest of us may have let Bitweded down but he has certainly found a flicker of hope and tenacity in giants like you. Thank you again.
It is with great hope and deeply felt sadness that I write my comment. First the great hope is that our hero’s speech will rekindle the flickering flame of resistance in the countless compatriots. For over two decades, they have been living surrounded by dismay and disdain in relation to the opposition groups’ utter failure to rescue the Eritrean people and country. My deeply felt sadness emanates due to the fact that our hero’s words of wisdom, truth, courage and selfless sacrifice was kept hidden for all these years. Shame to the one who kept this treasure on the shelf to collect dust at an imaginable cost to our people and country!
The most important question that should be answered in this whole “Eritrean Saga” is Why things have been going in such horrible magnitude losing the very human dignity in down spiral path? Just a simple example,Why people were silent,and at times encourage,while Jehova witnesses were put into jail? As a matter of fact,some of them are still incarcerated incommunicado in Sawa,inside shipping containers(1993 up to now). Look what happened in south Sudan referendum,when the Jehova witness reacted the same in South Sudan,they were left dignified putting into consideration to their belief…….interested to know read about it.There were some People in Eritrea at that time,1993, into such an emotion of even eliminating them in mass killing……..think about that?The people in Eritrea has a long way to go……..we have to admit that Eritreans are the victims of their ignorance…….unless this ignorance is gone and replaced with enlightenment,this saga will continue and the existence of the nation state of Eritrea will be at stake.

Wow, this guy is very intelligent. He believes in solving any differences by discussing. Not physical force but brain power. Here are some of the items I have captured:
Ignorant person enjoy ignorance and ignorant ideas ,
wise person loves wisdom and wise thoughts .
We lost many wise men from all walks under our nose because of this arrogant , paranoid and twisted mind person hidden agenda .
“Niamlakh imber niseb kiniferh yebilnan ” advice of
BETWEDED ABRAHA can be silenced for long time .
03 played our people mind set with misleading information about the one and only special person (Issayas) that Eritrea gave birth .
Forget Bitweded ,until now he competes against Jesus Christ in holy places in support of his dump followers .
Even the holy man Orthodox patriarch couldn’t get some
kind of immunity from political prosecution.
