ድምጺ ኣሰና መኻፍልቲ ናይዚ ከቢድ ሓዘን ምዃና እናጠቐሰት፣ ነቶም ግዳያት መንግስተ ሰማያት ክቕበሎም ስድራቤት ናይዞም ግዳያት ጽንዓት ክረኽቡ ሰናይ ትምኒታ ትገልጽ። እቲ ናብ ኣመሪካ ካብ ዝኣቱ ሓጺር እዋን ዝገበረ ኣቦኦም ኣብ ዝነብረሉ ከተማ ፊላደልፊያን ከብቢኣን እትርከቡ ኤርትራውያን፣ ከምቲ ብባህልና ዝተለምደ ከጸናንዑዎን ክድብሱዎን ከምዝርከቡ፣ እቶም ዛጊት ሓበሬታ ከይበጽሖም ዝጸንሑ ‘ውን ተመሳሳሊ ምትሕብባር ክገብሩ ምዃኖም ከኣ ንተኣማመን።

ሓደራ ኩልና ሎሚ ኣብ ጎድኒ ሓውና ክብሮም ደው ክንብልን፣ ከነጸናንዖን።
Kibrom is an Eritrean refugee who came and resettle in the city of Philadelphia, his two kids Michael, Yordanos and his sister Akberet, age 7, 12 and 25 respectively, were all killed recently while attempting to cross the border from Eritrea to Ethiopia. Their bodies were reportedly scavenged by wild animals. They were the children of Kibrom Frezghi Haile who came to the United States a couple of years ago as a refugee, and is left now in deep sorrow and sadness.
Your encouragement and financial support are desperately needed. We needed to support and help each other in this critical moment to the families.
Kibrom settled in the Philadelphia area. He had left his children behind in Eritrea and was hopeful one day to see his family again, but life doesn’t always go as we would wish, and instead this morning, April 21, 2014, he learned that the worst tragedy possible had happened to his family. Kibrom is a hard working person, his daily dream was that one day his family would join him and his kids would have a better future.
Please let’s take a moment and pray for the sake of our brothers and sisters who are dealing with so many tragedies.
I understand that our time is so precious but at the same time the suffering of our brothers and sisters seems endless.. Please take a moment to remember those who are suffering and saddened for various reasons right now.

Very sad. May God bless their soul. Condolences to the family (especially Kibrom).
This could have been avoided had the government allowed them to exit Eritrea. Instead people have to trek through dangerous roads and risk their lives to join their loved ones.
Sadly this is not the first, nor would be the last. It is logical to conclude there are other victims whose lives ended tragically on the dangerous roads to Sudan and Ethiopia.
All I can say is, “mesTa naizom ishelat koluU yewridelu”!

I don’t know what all the buzz of this tragedy is about.Isn’t this kinds of atrocities and may be a lot worse have been going on all over again and again for the last 23 years?Isn’t there plenty of executions going on everyday on the borders of this cursed barren of land called “Eritra”?Who do you think is ordering their execution or carrying out the execution itself?If you think its the guy that we love to call “Tenbenay” we are dead wrong.He might be the evil architect of all the crimes happening in the land but the real executors are the people that we call Warsay and yikalo.
You see the irony.The hotchpotch so called opposition and the disillusioned politicians argue that we don’t start an armed struggle because we don’t want to attack the warsay yikalo.What a lame excuse,isn’t it?Unless and until we all stand up to fight the enemy with a gun,there is no end in sight for all the tragedies that are happening in the cursed and lost country everyday.People of all ages in general and little kids like Micheal and Yordanos will continue to be victims for many years to come and history will hold us responsible for letting this tragedy happen right before our eyes and do nothing.

What type of father would encourage a 7 yr old to travel on foot from Eritrea to Ethiopia? It is reckless if he had encouraged or paid for the illegal travel of his sister and the kids.

Eritrea and my Church has one thing in common. In my Church every sunday for one or two hours we talk about doing good deeds, becoming a better person than yeasterday, helping one another, respecting the closth and far ones, act as if we are the purest of the purest. The moment we left the Church we continue Our daily life from where it interupted due to the one or two hours of the Church seremony With out affecting Our daily life even the micro bits of it. The same goes With Eritrea. Eritrea is just a matter of preaching and after the Meeting is over life continues as usual. The usual is that eritrea’s problem is mentioned not to solve the problem but how to use it to ones advantage. In old times for one thagadali sacrifice 100 got residence permitance in the west. Now no one is fool to be tagadali instead every one sale the story and get residence permitance.

The reason Eritreans have not united to fight the dictator is because they have no trust in the so called opposition groups and their leaders. What we need is a popular uprising. Wedi Vacaro’s movement is a good start, it needs to build trust to gain momentum. The movement shouldn’t be limited to opposition groups (as it seems to be the case now), it should be inclusive and attract all Eritreans. Wedi Tkuabo and other popular artists should be engaged to encourage people to join the movement. Those who are paid by PFDJ to brain wash our community like Dr. Gedion, and the witch (Sofia) should be confronted and exposed. If we do that we can dismantle PFDJ and create a true constitutional government elected by the people.
