መንእሰያትን ፖለቲካን ኣእምሮ መንእሰይ ንኹሉ ክፉት እዩ። ንጽቡቕ ይኹን ንሕማቕ። ኣብ ግዜ ደርጊ ትኩስ ሓይሊ ይብሉዎ ነይሮም። ቀልጢፉ ይቕበል፡ ቀልጢፉ ድማ ይድርቢ። ቀልጢፉ ይለዓል፡ ምስ ደኸመ ድማ የጽቅጥ። ኣብ ሜዳ ይዋጋእ፡ ኣብ ኤውሮጳን ኣመሪካን ከይዱ ድማ

መንእሰያትን ፖለቲካን

ኣእምሮ መንእሰይ ንኹሉ ክፉት እዩ። ንጽቡቕ ይኹን ንሕማቕ። ኣብ ግዜ ደርጊ ትኩስ ሓይሊ ይብሉዎ ነይሮም። ቀልጢፉ ይቕበል፡ ቀልጢፉ ድማ ይድርቢ። ቀልጢፉ ይለዓል፡ ምስ ደኸመ ድማ የጽቅጥ። ኣብ ሜዳ ይዋጋእ፡ ኣብ ኤውሮጳን ኣመሪካን ከይዱ ድማ ውልቃዊ ዋኒኑ የካይድ። ኣብ ሜዳ ማርኪስት፡ ኣብ ግዜ ናጽነት ድማ ማሪታውን ኣኽራርን ይኸውን። ሓቁ እዩ ናፖለዮን ንወድሰብ ከም ባምቡላ ወይ ሮቦት ዚቖጽሮ። ብደጋዊ ኩነታት ናብ ዝደለኻዮ ኪዕጸፍ ስለ ዚኽእል።

ኣብዚ እዋንዚ መብዛሕትኦም መንእሰያት ኤርትራ ኣብ ኤርትራ የለዉን። ተሰዲዶም እዮም ዚነብሩ ዘለዉ። ብፖለቲካን ብውግእን ብወትሃደራውነትን ዝደኸሙ ይመስሉ። ሓቃቶም እዮም።

ሰላሳ ዓመት ዝወደበን ዝተወዳደበን ውድብ፡ ናጽነት እኳ እንተ ኣምጸአ፡ ሰላምን ቅሳነትን ብልጽግናን ሓድነትን ስኒትን ግን ከምጽእ ኣይከኣለን። ሰላሳ ዓመታት እተቓለሰ ውድብ፡ ንኤርትራውያን ነታ ጥንታዊትን ናይ ኣቦታቶም ሓርነታዊ ሓበን እኳ እንተ መለሰሎም፡ ኣብታ ሃገር ኪቕመጡ ግን ኣየፍቀደሎምን። ሰላሳ ዓመት እተጋደለ ውድብ፡ ባንዴራ እኳ እንተ ኣምጸአ፡ ህውከት ሒዙ እዩ ንኸተማ ዝኣተወ።

በዝን ክንድዝን ደኾን ይኸውን መንእሰያትና ናይ ኲናት ደቦለሳ ወይ ድኻም (ዎር ወይ ባትል ፋቲግ) ሒዙዎም ዘሎ። ኣብዛ ዓለም እኮ እተፈላለየ ናይ ኣእምሮ ሕማም እዩ ዘሎ። ናይ ፖለቲካን ናይ ኲናትን ፎብያ ዶ ንበሎ። ናይ ሃገርና ኩነታት ከምቲ ንሓሞት ኢሎም ዝሓረዱዎ በጊዕስ ሓሞት ሰኣኑሉ ኢዩ ኮይኑ ዘሎ። ኩለን ንሓሞት ኢልካ እትሓርደን ኣባጊዕ ሓሞት ምስ እትስእነለን፡ በጊዕ ሕረድ ኣይመጸካን። ሓሞት ዘይትረኽበላ! እንታይ ክትገብረልካ።

መንእሰይ ኤርትራ፡ ብሓቂ ደኺሙን ተወጺዑን ተገፊዑን ተዋሪዱን ተበዲሉን ዓስቡ ስኢኑን እዩ። ስለዚ ንኹሉ ፖለቲካ ብሕማቕ ዓይንን መንፈስን እዩ ዚርእዮ። ንኹሉ ጸላኢኡ ገይሩ ይርእዮ። ኩሉ ኪጸቕጦ ዝመጽእ ዘሎ ይመስሎ። ኩሉ ንኺላገጸሉ ዚለዓል ዘሎ ይመስሎ። ሓቁ፡ ካብቲ ዝሓለፈ ቃልሲ እንታይዶ ረኺቡ እዩ?

መንእሰይ ኤርትራ ዓቕሉ እናጽበበ መጺኡ። ካልእ ሓሳብ ኪቕበል ኣይደልን። እዚ ድማ ነጸብራቕ ናይቲ ካልእ ሰልፊ ኪቕበል ዘይደሊ ዝነበረ ሰላሳ ዓመት እተቓለሰ ውድብ ባህርያት እዩ። እቲ ናባይ ግደፉዎ፡ ኣነ እየ ዝፈልጥ፡ ብዘይካይ ካእል ሰልፊ ኣየፍቅድን እየ ዝብል ዝነበረ ውድብ፡ ብሳዋን ብኻልእ ሜላታትን ገይሩ ነቲ ዶክትሪናቱ ኣብ መንእሰያት ከም ዚሰርጽ ስለ ዝገበረ፡ እቲ መንእሰይ ግድን በቲ ናይቲ ውድብ መገዲ ኪጎዓዝ ነይሩዎ። ነዚ ድማ ኣብ ኩሉ ባህርያቱ የርእዮ ኣሎ።

በዝን ክንድዝን ዶ ይኸውን ኣብ ኩሉ ናይ ኤርትራውያን ፖለቲካዊ ኣኼባታት ባእስን ዕግርግርን ዘይምቅዳውን ዚረአ። ኩሉ ብነድርን ብስምዒትን ብጸርፍን ይካየድ። ብዘይምስምማዕ ድማ ይድምደም። ብድሕሪኡ ሕሜትን ጸለመን።

መንእሰይ ኣብዚ ናይ ድኽመት ዓዘቕቲ ተተኺሉ ስለ ዘሎ፡ ብዛዕባ ውልቃዊ ህይወቱ ጥራይ ኪሓስብ እዩ ዚደሊ። ኣብዛ ዓለም ተደሲቱ ከሕልፋ፡ ኣብታ እትመጽእ ድማ ኣብ ገነቱ ኪነብር።

ውልቃውነት ንምዕቃብ ናብ ኣውራጃውነትን ከንቱ ኣምልኾን ይሽመም። ብዓሌትን ብሃይማኖትን ምፍልላይ ይጅምር። ነቲ ዚሓስብ ኣእምሮኡ ብሕልሚ ይትክኦ። ተወዲብና፡ ተቓሊስና፡ ተሳቒና፡ ተሰዊእና፡ እንታይ ኣምጺእና ዚብል ሕቶ ብተደጋጋሚ ንኣእምሮኡ ይህውኾ።

ኣብ ሃገር ባዕዲ ኮይኑ ዘይተሳነየ መንእሰይ ደኣ ናብ ዓዱ ተመሊሱ እንታይ ዓይነት ኤርትራ ኪፈጥር እዩ? ኣብ ሃገር ጓና ዘይተረዳድአን ዘይተሰማምዐን ህዝቢ ደኣ ናብታ እትጽበዮ ዘላ ኤርትራ ምስ ተመልሰ እንታይ እዩ ከርእየና?

ሓደ ካብቲ ንመንእሰያት ኤርትራ ከም ጸገም ኮይኑ ምስጓም ከሊኡዎም ዘሎ ረቛሒ ናይ ኣእምሮ ምጽባብ እዩ። እዚ ድማ ኣብ ኤርትራ ብዓቢኡ፡ ኣብ ሳዋ ድማ ብፍላይ እተወርሰ ኣተሓሳስባ እዩ። መብዛሕትኡ ኤርትራዊ መንእሰይ ኣግፊሕካ ናይ ምሕሳብ ክእለቱ እተነጥቀ ይመስል። ኣግፊሕካ ምሕሳብ ከም ምኽሓድ ሃገር እዩ ዚቝጸር ዘሎ። ኣግፊሕካ እንተ ሓሲብካ ጽባሕ ንግሆ ንትግራዎት ኣሕዋትና ክትብሎም ኢኻ። እግፊሕካ እንተ ሓሲብካ ኩሉ ሰብ ሓደ እዩ ክትብል ኢኻሞ፡ ነቶም ከምቲ ናትካ ዘይሓስቡ ወይ ዘይኣምኑ ሰባት ክትሓቝፎም ክትጅምር ኢኻ። ስለዚ፡ ኣግፊሕካ ምሕሳብ ሓደገኛ እዩ። እዚ እዩ እቲ ጸገም። እቲ ኣስፊሕካ ናይ ምሕሳብ ዓቕሚ ብፖለቲካዊ ሜላታት ከም ዚጠፍእ ተገይሩ እዩ። ኩሉ ገና ከይጀመረ፡ ፈላጥ፤ ኩሉ ሊቅ፡ ኩሉ ፈትፊቱ ዚትንትን ኮይኑ ይረኣዮ። ኪሰምዓካ ድማ ኣይደልን።

ከምዚ ዓይነት ኣረኣእያ ምስቲ ኣብ ላዕሊ እተጠቕሰ ናይ ተስፋ ምቝራጽ ባህርያት ተሓዊሱ ነቲ መንእሰይ ኣዛሕቲሉዎ ካብኡ ዝተረፈ ድማ ኣድኪሙዎ ይርከብ ኣሎ።

ኣብ ፓልቶክ ጸርፍን ዕግርግርን፡ ኣብ ግዜ ሓዘን (ኣማኢት ኣብ ባሕርን ምድረበዳን እናጠፍኡ) ጓይላን ዳንኬራን። ኣብ ግዜ ኣስተምህሮ፡ ምጽላምን ምዝንጣልን። ኣብ መገዲ ተረጋጊጽካ ምሕላፍ፡ ኣብ ውራይን ቀብርን ምፍልላይ ወዘተ.

ከምቲ ኣቐዲመ ኣብቲ ካልኣይ ክፋል ዝበልኩዎ፡ ንርእሱ ሓራ ዘይኮነ ሓራ-ኣውጻኢ፡ ሓራ ከውጽኣካ ኣይክእልን። እቲ መውጽእ ሓራ ነቲ ናጻ ዚገብር ባህልና ኣበላሺዩዎ እዩ፡ ነቲ ኣብ ኣርበዓታት ዝነበረና ናጻ ናይ ምጽሓፍ መሰላት ዓጽዩዎ። ንክብርና ኣትሒቱዎ።  ነቲ ናይ ኣቦታትና ናይ ምጽውዋር ባህሊ ኣብሪሱዎ። ኣብቶም መንእሰያት ድማ ዘይሕከኽ ናይ ኣእምሮ በሰላታት ገዲፉ።

እዚ ወለዶዚ ዝጠፍአ ይመስል። ግን ተስፋ ምቝራጽ ኣየድልን። ነቲ መንእሰይ ዘነቓቕሕ ኩሉ ንጥፈታት ምክያድ። ብጽሑፍ ይኹን ብተዋስኦ ወይ ብኣስተምህሮ ጌርካ ኣእምሮኡ ከም ዚሰፍሕ ምግባር።

ስለዚ እቲ ሓድሽ ኲናት ምስ ሰብ ብረትን ታንክን ዘይኮነስ ምስ ዝንቡዕ ኣእምሮ ኪኸውን ይግባእ። ኣእምሮ ሰብ ብጠበንጃ ኪዕረ ኣይክእልን። ንሓሳብ ብኻልእ ሓሳብ ኢኻ እትዋግኦ። እቲ ዝዓበየ ውግእ ኣብ ሜዳ ዘይኮነስ ኣብ ኣእምሮን ኣብ ልብን ዚካየድ ውግእ እዩ።

ኩሉ ሰብ ነዛ ዓዲ (ኤርትራ) ገገዲፉዋ ይኸይድ ኣሎ። ኤርትራ ሰብ ነይራ እንተ ትኸውን ከምዚ ምበለት ነይራ ’ኩሉ ገገዲፉኒ ከይዱ፡ ኣነን እህህታን ጥራይ ተሪፍና’። ስለዚ ንኤርትራ ብሓቂ ክንክሕሳ እንተ ደኣ ዄንና ካልእ ተሪፉ ኣብ ዘዘለናዮ ኣእምሮና ከነስፍሕን፡ ልብና ከነዕብን፡ ክንመዓዓድን፡ ክንከባበርን ክንሳነን ክንጸዋወርን ይግበኣና።

    Well-done Amanuel. You have finally succinctly pointed out one of the main problems of ours at theses times, of Eritreans, bounded thinking, and its limiting consequence son organizing groups and society. Look for more of such brilliant input.

    Forgive me for not writing in my own language. It is for a mere technical reason that I am not able to express my opinion in my own language- the computer I am using does not have Geez software.

    The culture of intolerance, low self-esteem, distrust and treachery are now deeply rooted in the Eritrean society. A younger generation plagued by these symptoms is virtually ineffective. These are the legacy that the regime has deliberately imprinted in the psyche of the whole society during the last three decades since Eritrea became independent. It’s not the tyranny of today that should be most worrying. It’s the after-effect of tomorrow that should be be urgently addressed. I am very much convinced that Eritrea as of now has already stepped-in in the realm of a failed statehood. The regime is fast on its way to eclipsing into the horizon of history. How are we as oppressed people to come united in making sure that tomorrow we will not be dragged into another tyranny or anarchy.

    In the midst of the movement for change, we see anarchy and narrow-mindedness budding as Ato Amanuel has truely said. It seems to me that the movement is mainly driven by emotion and bare emotion. The culture of dialogue and respect for the opinions others are in-existent. In my view what is missing in the so called the movement for change is the insatiable hunger to learn from a fellow human being no matter who the person is. Therefore, idealization and dialogue have given way to chronic intolerance. The uprisings in the Arab Spring was mainly fueled by popular anger and hatred towards dictatorship. I say these are the typical emotions with the power to literally lead humans to physically do extraordinary things. But look at how things turned out in Cairo, Benghazi or Tripoli four years on. Apparently power went not to the people. Opportunists in the guise of extremists, tribal chiefs or men in uniform snatched it away. We need to go back in history and learn as much as we can. From the founding fathers of the American revolution, to the great revolutionaries of the 20th century: Mao, Castro, Che Guevara, Mandela, Lech Walesa and Vaclav Havel.These are intellectuals who transformed their people single-handedly not by the might of arms but by the ideals of freedom from tyranny. For now we are not only dealing with casting away the chains of dictatorial oppression,but save our country from utter destruction and yet the grip of another tyrant.

    Unless the movement for change matures from constant lamentations of how inhuman the dictatorial regime in Eritrea is, to practising the principles of democracy, we will certainly see a change that every Eritrean does not wish to see. We need to truly understand and practise the ideals of democracy before we claim that we are struggling for them. Intolerance, hatred, and distrust will not save us from anarchy and go along the way where Somalia has gone through. It will not certainly prevent us from plunging into another dictatorship. We need to embrace discourse and idealization to liberate and overcome our afflicted minds.

    I salute Ato Amanuel, the spectacled face behind the honeycombed fence, for his brave and articulate metamorphic voice. Now that he has crossed the fence, his reappearance will flicker a ray of hope. In fact, I believe he is one of the few thinkers and articulate writers we have. We, the younger generation have a lot to learn from your seasoned experience and world outlook. Thank you for loudly and boldly confronting the younger generation. I am optimistic that your thinking will continue to go along with the movement all the way to a brighter tomorrow.

    Commentary: A challenge to the “passing” generation rather than to the Young Generation, 26 Jan 2015

    The Third (and last) Part of Mr. Amanuel Sahle’s Article is well enunciated in no ambiguous terms. It is addressed to the young generation of Eritrea i.e. the custodian of ‘future” Eritrea. This is not the first time that the future of Eritrea has been raised in various nuances. The Young Generation in particular are already aware of the subject matter. The endless pal-talk and conferences is a testimony of that awareness. The endless acrimony on the pal-talk is only a reflection of frustration on the part of the Young Generation for not understanding the bizarre nature of their elders. They have not received credible example to carry on to the next cycle of Life. It is like a relay sport where the SECOND baton holder reached the transferring line but empty handed, leaving the final runner in complete wilderness! Poor energetic young Eritreans! They are left “empty” handed – hence, the source of their utter exasperation and confusion.

    NO, the Young Generation of Eritrea needs no further warning. They see the nothingness of what they are getting; hence, the endless frustration on pal-talks!!! What we then need to concentrate upon is on the “passing” generation.

    In my opinion, what is really important now is to bring to the attention of the “passing” generation of their “last” chance to SAVE their history for generations to come. It is their last opportunity to come to sanity and save Eritrea >>> an enviable country of relative abundance of natural resources; not burdened by over population, blessed by hard-working and innovative citizens to pursue their LIFE freely according to individual’s inclination and capability. Failing to do so, history, for sure, will judge the “passing” generation that they had actually squandered the “baton” of knowledge, experience, wisdom and culture that they received from their forefathers and fore-mothers. Instead, they embarked on new civilization, soaking everything along the way (like a blotting paper) without critical examination and wound-up being a perfect mimickers. It is a cliché that one is neither being here nor there!

    The essential question now is this: Can the “passing” generation reverse the current unhealthy trend? We are not talking about concrete physical achievement but a “TREND” in mentality in the right direction for the benefit of future generation. IT IS POSSIBLE — but only if the “passing” generation sufficiently CARE for future generation. Or putting it blatantly only if they decide to be free from the legendary mentality of the four-legged animal who declared: “I don’t give a damn about the grass, after I die”. THE END

    Dear Amanuel,
    It is well written. Keep up the good work. I wish you could also write on the three Eritrean ‘awrajas’. I have no clue what each one of them mean. My mother is from Akeleguzai and my dad is from Hamasien (SeHarti). I do not see ‘awraja’ being an issue in my parents marriage.

    Most of my generation do not have clue what Akeleguzai, Seraye and Hamasien mean. Some think that Akeleguzai are from Mars and Hamasien from Venus and who knows where Seraye come from. Please enlighten my generation on this ‘sensistive’ topic. I do not know why it is so sensitive. I live here in Georgia. I am from Gwinnett county and I have no problem telling peop0le which county in Georgia I come from but for Eritreans they can not mention their ‘awraja’ for fear that somebody may call them regionalist.

      Dear Saba Kidane,
      I am writing this note while I am still at maximum emotionality — which is not a good idea. But I can’t help it. You see, Saba, I am delighted to see a Young Eitrean being FREE. Please remain FREE! The perfect proof is that you are completely at ease to mention those three ‘awrajas’ without qualm, as it should be. You are fortunate to live in the United States of America, in the State of Georgia, in the county of Gwinnett.

      As for Eritreans, “they can not mention their ‘awraja’ for fear that somebody may call them regionalist.” Yes! Yes! Yes! You said it all.

      And we should be FREE to mention how the leaders of the 30-year war used it to liquidate so many young and promising Eritreans under the pretext that they were ‘awrajanist’ Yes, the Eritrean ghedli era is full of unbelievable crimes on Eritrean people by Eritreans!!! There are countless people who know ‘the what, the where about, and by WHOM’. I hope knowledgeable Eritreans, with conscious, would considered revealing the TRUTH, at the very least, for Eritrean people to come to terms with their reality of the ugly part of their history.

      One last point for your information Saba. May knowledgeable people correct me or amplify on it. In the old times, our forefathers and fore-mothers were completely at ease and free to mention their ‘awrajas’ and narrate about their descendants with pleasure and pride. The “modern” generation ‘droped the ball”……….

    Your articles were easy understandable for most of us and less controversial.In the 3rd part you diagnosed clearly our current status but you didn’t prescribed us the medicine, and you feel short of expressing your stand on the father of all the above misery and mess(Ghedli).
    Your articles were good but i expected more.
