You are right. The long term agenda the regime has been using is to break-up the nuclear family. Once family is challenged and disintegrated it is hard to fix it back to where it was. The black American family due to slavery in the New World has become the main target for over two centuries. Even today, the effects of slavery is very clear in black households. The ripples of it left a mark on the lives of people which is still seen in the society of today. It leaves a strong chain which is difficult to break out of.
We Eritreans have to learn to stop being victims,learn to resist tyranny in all its forms and speak up our minds. Only then can we stand strong to defend ourselves. In order to do the above: unity, understanding and respect must be present with in our community and among each other. Ignorance robs groups or individuals from empowering themselves. As an entity or unit we should not expect to agree on all issues. But, we can pick the points we agree upon as a common ground to continue with out wasting time and efforts.
Remain true to the principles of our land and people!
