I think we need to call for a demonstration across the world to pressure the Eritrean government release political prisoners. Those who haven’t heard about Dejen will have opportunities to hear about it. He should be the symbol for the demonstration. iI we don’t act on it now this beautiful story would be a thing of the past. All the other websites like Asmarino, Awate and Meskerem never even mentioned Dejen… Don’t they think his escape is a big news that merits a spot on their website? Why are Eritrean websites don’t share a new of such magnitude if they interview wasn’t conducted by them? If this is a copy right issue, they can say according to Assenna blah blah… isn’t that how the rest of the world operate? When there is a big news in BBC all major news outlet would post it, the idea is to update their audience with import information. Eritrean websites should learn how journalism works and stop child play.
