Thank you Saed,
It is good you are speaking up, though you seem to forget that more than 85% of the Eritrean prisoners at the time when you left Eritrea were EPLF members.
When will the former Jebha members of Halewa Sewra who are responsible for the death of countless peasants, kunamas and educated urban dwellers speak up about the genocide and crimes committed in Sewra? Some of these former Jebha chiefs of Halewa Sewra such as Salih Hayoti are walking freely in Sweden.

History repeated itself again 28 years later after the second organizational conference of the ELF/Jebha in 1975. Educational books, which were prepared in the Tigré language by teachers at the Sawa training center, were ordered to be burned by the Executive Committee, citing the reason that it was a conspiracy directed against the status and prominence of the Arabic language in Eritrea. The leadership of the ELF gave orders not to prepare any more educational texts in the Tigré language henceforth.

Saed Saleh hit the nail on the head that Isaias Aewerqi is Tigrai conspirator. And any one who observs this man in action for a long time cannot miss his sinister plot. It is very pity that many Eritreans are still being deceived by this man and are enabling him to reach the summit of his success, Abai Tigrai.
We should be surprised either because he is first generation born in Eritrea from his parents who were 100% Tegaru. His grandfather had a high social status but he was forced to escape because of his contradiction with Rasi Alula; his uncle, Degiat Solomon Abraha, former governer of Wollo, did not become what he became out of nothing.Wtch very carefully as to who are working against our Sovereignty in the frontline for woyane, they are those who were born in Eritrea from Tegaru parents. Isaias Afewerqi cannot be different and the fact that he married Tigraweiti says it all.
This guy was brilliant University student in Addis Abeba and could have a fullfilling career as a professional Engineer in Ethiopia. He joined Qiada Al Ama and while many of his University schoolmates were either killed as spies of Ethiopia , or ran away to save their lives, he earned their trust so good that he was rewarded with prestigious scholarship to Communist China.
The question for us is: What did he do to earn so much trust from Qiada Al Ama? Given what we know of him today, can’t we say because he was providing false information about his schoolmates? Yes, I think we can definitely say that.
There is no doubt that Isaias Afewerqi had read and completely understood “The Prince” by Mechiavelli. He might have gotten it at the University in Addis Abeba but to me it seems unlikely; the most likely is from his connection in Kagnew Station. Those who have not read that evil book, please do so now if you want know Isaias Afewerq’s con artistry.
Isaias Afewrqi knew exactly what to say and what to do to drive his sinister plot against Eritrea home and that to accomplish that not only should be in the driver’s seat but also to play effectively the muslims vs Christian controversy, which he had used with Qiada Al Ama with spectancular sucesss. This time, he would position himself as main Christian protogonist against his former patrons, the Qiada Al Ama, whom he presented as murderers and Arabist. This is mechiavillian at its best.
Once Isaias Afewerqi Splintered from ELF, and having made himself comfortable at the driver’s seat of Selfi Natsnet, it did not take him long to join forces with splinter Muslim groups, the leaders of whom were his classmates in Communist China. While this was unravelling, unwitting University students and other scholars arrived in droves to their Sluaghter-House Isaias Afewerqi had prepared for them before hand.
China Communists had declared their vanguard to be the Peasants to distinguish themselves from the proletariat in the Soviet Union. This afforded Isaias Afewerqi golden excuse, on the one hand, to decimate Eritrean intellecuals as Petty Bourgeo opportunists and to fakely exalt Cheguar Danga as the vanguard, and on the other, not only to forge very close ties with the muslim splinter group but also to assign them prominent position within the Revoluionary Guards to do his dirty job of exterminating Eritrean intellectuals as a means of keeping Eritreans in the dark while he herded them to their oblivion.
Isaias Afwerki failed his first year in University of Addis Abeba. That is a main factor in finally deciding to join the struggle. That is what his classmates at that time in university say about him. Solomon Abraha the governor of Wollo under HaileSelassie was killed by the Derg like many of haileselassie’s polticians. Solomon Abraha was the brother Of Afwerk Abraha or Afwerki Abraham, the father of Isaias.
I think you got the misinformation from those who met their daily sustenance by flattering the street-smart and drug addict, Meles Zenawi, who said that the knowledge one gained in day from Isaias Afewerqi was better than 1000 days of lectures from university professors.
Besides, the fact that he managed to outsmart so many Eriteeans , gifted, scholars and university students, for such long period of time is, I hate to say, a testimony to his intelligence. Any one who say otherwise is deceiving him/herself.
Therefore, there is nothing to be gained from denying reality, save temporary delusion. There is another ominous drawback to such hallucination: with such weak perspective,we may not be able to hold our country together if he falls apart precipitously today because of so many intertwining factors.
Remember, the treacherous woyane is counting on our naivety and ill-preparedness to realize its evil dream, Abai Tigrai. There is no doubt that Isaias Afewerqi’s grip on power is weakening daily; his hopeleness is about to go through the roof, but I am 100% sure will try to take Eritrea down with him; he may call woyane to send its army under flimsy excuse. This is not a far fetched scenario; if he could bring the so called “Tigrai Peoples Democratic Movement” before to protect himself, he can bring woyane if Eritrea is about to slip away from his projected goal.

Belay Nega,
I am not surprised with your disbelief; my view is counterintuitive at this moment because Isaias Afewerqi has masqueraded his evil plan with fake but appetizing nationalist fervor. However, as time passes and the struggle within and without intensifies against his usurpation, he will uncover his ugly face. But then, I am afraid, it will be too late for us to own our country easily. We will have to destroy the treacherous woyane as we did to the Amhara. For this I do not have any doubt.
To tell you the truth, I was in your Camp for long time. I even defended this guy with all my heart. Two events propelled me to doubt the sincerity of this man and to study his past:
1. My visit of my home land………. As you can imagine I was extremely eager to see Eritrea after 16 years. I went straight to the hotel I used to stay before. I was mortified to find the hotel in a state of utter helplessness and disrepair. I asked the employees as who was the owner. They told me that it was the government……………..Next morning, I woke up and walked around Asmera; the street was engulfed with offensive smell of air emanating from the fagnatura; so many beggars sitting on the side of the street but the most shocking was to see so many beggars crowding Enda Mariam Church. And I asked one Asmerino as to why there were so many beggars. He replied smiling, that that was nothing. The worst was in 2009. The government took them back to where they came from several times but they returned each time……..I went on buses to many places and I found it to be more or less the same. In fact, people talk of begging as accepted way of life……… This is a tragedy Isaias Afewerqi purposely prescribed for our peopl…. etc.
2. In 2011, in New York, Isaias Afewerqi told to many Eritreans who came to see him from all over the USA and Canada that the Constitution would be implemented but when he returned to Eritrea , in an interview with wedi Abe, he categorically negated what he said in New York.
I do not hate you for supporting this man, whom I rightly call Tigrai Conspirator, but you have to tell me your reason for doing so. How long do you think is enough for people to be ruled as this man’s subjects? And why is that? Do you think the young Eritreans are leaving the country for fun, the people are turning to begging for fun? Can you tell me why invaded Ethiopia in violation of International Law? Why didn’t he ask the UNSC to do its job?

“NO BODY DETEST WAR MORE THAN A SOLDIER”
DO NOT FORGET WAR IS ABOUT SHOOTING AND BEING SHOOT
Belay.. I have questions to you, if you dont mind to answer them.. I read your comments several times.
– Do you agree to the current movement in Eritrea? I mean where the country is in right now?
– What do you think is the most logical solution to get peace in that region?
– What do you call as main cause for the current situation?
– Who would you blame mainly for our country´s situation?
– What do you say about the tragedies happening to Eritreans in Sudan,Libya,Egypt and so on?
-Why does this government in Eritrea not RESCUE its own people?
Out of curiousity, in which country do you reside?
Belay,
I am not supporting war in Eritrea but the brother spelled his formula and his readiness to sacrifice point blank. That is at least a vision in my opinion that deserves attention. It is a different idea that should be taken seriously as an alternative.
Mr Said Saleh gave his eye witness account to the best of his ability.
I admire him for coming forward to speak truth to us all. Thanks! He made a pledge which went as far as giving his life for the nation by leading the youth. The big hope for Eritrea is to return to its glory days when we tasted independence in 1991. The two decades after, the population of Eritrea has been choked by the cumbersome force of tyranny.
History is important too. If we do not know where we began we do not know where we are going. That is one big problem we face as a nation now. That is why it is important to go back to our history when discussing issues which matter to all as a nation.
Hundreds if not thousands of girls have been violated while in military service. This is a dark chapter in our history which needs an open dialogue in free Eritrea. Eritrea is a decent nation, despite the glaring blind spot which we are now experiencing. Then my mind wonders to this point by saying, “We made the president the monster he is.”
Unanswered questions has to be addressed however long it may have taken.
So, each and every soul must ask himself/herself what the call is for him/her at this critical time in our history.
I suggest we try to comment about the given topic instead of digressing to other topics which are not relevant to what is being discussed. That makes the effort worthwhile. Hatred has no place in conducting any discussion.
May we remain true to the wishes of the martyrs.
Long live Eritrea!

I just wonder most of the time , We as Eritrean tend to talk more about the past leadership whether it is Jebaha/ Shabia success and failure . ( Abedlla Idris / Iesayas Afeweri and etc …)
Why don’t we start building a new culture to cultivate a new leadership who has a potential to be the future Eritrean leader . Bring some candidates who could lead and promote them to a new level . Everyone is tired of this old leaders and their stinky philosophy . Especially the old generation . We really are tied up by the past . When there is present and future.

HALLOW SABA
“Do you agree to the current movement in Eritrea? I mean where the country is in right now?”
NO I OPPOSE IT RATHER
“What do you think is the most logical solution to get peace in that region?”
IF BY REGION YOU MEAN EAST AFRICA IS THE MOST UNFORTUNATE ONE WITH COMPLICATE ISSUES WITH NO EASY SOLUTION
“What do you call as main cause for the current situation?”
WHICH ONE?
” Who would you blame mainly for our country´s situation?”
ETHIOPIANS WITH THE HELP OF BIG NATIONS
“- What do you say about the tragedies happening to Eritreans in Sudan,Libya,Egypt and so on?”
VERY UNFORTUNATE
“-Why does this government in Eritrea not RESCUE its own people?”
THOUGH I CANNOT TALK ON BEHALF OF THE GOV
I THINK IT IS BEYOND THEIR CONTROL
“Out of curiousity, in which country do you reside?”

Belay,
I am not supporting war in Eritrea but the brother spelled his formula and his readiness to sacrifice point blank.
