Obama’s 101 lecture for African leaders in particular Isayas Afewerki

Barack Obama’s speech is straight forward and a simply commonly 101 course for African leaders. African is a continent with bunch of dictators and authoritarian parties and this culture has been a norm for decades and is also popping up in new forms in this century.
It is every African youth’s question why do most African leaders just want to be above the law? As Obama puts it when he talks about clinging to power for life he said “I have to be honest with you: I just don’t understand this.”
Yes Obama, we Africans never understood this too; Why Isayas of Eritrea, Bashir of Sudan, Mugabe of Zimbabwe, Museveni of Uganda etc—- want to stay in power for life????????????????
Obama’s advice to African leaders in particular to Isayas of Eritrea;
- “Africa’s democratic progress is also at risk when leaders refuse to step aside when their terms end,” Obama said. “No one should be president for life.”
- “Under our constitution, I cannot run again. There’s still so much I want to get done to keep America moving forward. But the law is the law and no one is above it, not even presidents.
- “And, frankly, I’m looking forward to life after being president. It will mean more time with my family, new ways to serve, and more visits to Africa.”
- “When a leader tries to change the rules in the middle of the game just to stay in office, it risks instability and strife, as we’ve seen in Burundi.” Clinging to power was “often just a first step down a perilous path“.
- “If a leader thinks they’re the only person who can hold their nation together, then that leader has failed to truly build their country,” he said.
- ‘Cancer of corruption’ Obama also called on Africa to end “the cancer of corruption” and embrace democracy to ensure continued progress.

Brother Obama
I wish your arrogant cousins across the ocean will take your speech seriously . Africans are in need
of complete turn over to govern themselves against decades old culture of political manipulators
with corrupted intention focused on extorting national resources for personal wealth .

How about the perks that comes with it at the expense of the poor people, the blue label whiskey, free accommodations, transportation [not as good as the Air force One of course], the 24 hour entourage , to be able to say whatever you want to say however you want to say it regardless who you offend , to sleep and get up anytime you want , work is a hobby , whatever you declare when you get up in the morning is the law of the land , not to mention the hundreds and millions of dollars stashed away in foreign banks that was made by enslaving the people you promised to liberate….. Who is going to give that up! They will do whatever it takes, including killing their family members to stay there for life.

The smartest move for dictator Esayas to do at this time is to negotiate with the USA and Ethiopia
on exit strategy from the country (Eritrea). This is if he wants to live until his natural is consummated.
I have no doubt the CIA would cooperate in identifying safe location for him to flee the country in tact.
But sadly the sad loser is wasting his time and Eritrea’s resources with big time losers like that pig Birhanu Nega.

Correction/addition : please read as this is if he wants to live until his natural ‘longevity’ is consummated.
