Light A Candle For Our Loved Ones:
Although it is hard to find the right words in expressing sympathy during such particular bereavement caused by the horrific accident off the coast of Sicily in Italy over the past week in which over 135 Eritreans vanished (number is likely to increase due to another 200 or more passengers until now identified as lost), we express our deepest and sincere sorrow and grief, while holding the brutal dictatorship in Eritrea responsible for the tragic loss of the precious lives of our beloved ones, adding this tragedy to the criminal records of the thousands of massacres the nationally, regionally and internationally ostracized regime has committed during its bloody rule. We could imagine the depth of the grief of the families who have lost their loved ones, if at all they would be allowed to learn about the tragedy. For the survivors, this is the most difficult loss to recover from. All dreams and plans with/for their loved ones have come to nothing, leaving the survivors feeling empty and forlorn.
These endless series of grief Eritrean families have been going through for the last couple of decades are not only affecting the feelings and emotions of all Eritrean population, but really every part of us as a country, including our demography and hope for future development. Our first reaction should be to remember the root cause of the tragedy, which we trust nobody misses. As this is clear to anyone who is not socially blind, we call upon all justice seeking contingents of the Eritrean people to put their differences aside and join hands to pull out the root cause; namely, the rotten PFDJ regime, and throw it out to the trash bin of history. However, in terms of rituals, we would like to call upon Eritrean-Torontonians to attend the candle light vigil to be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 in memory of the innocent sisters and brothers in front of the Toronto City Hall from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thank you and God Bless Eritrea!

From now we all Eritreans who oppose this brutal dictator have to make a very critical decision. Stop any kind of connection with higdef and their sympathizers no matter who the person is your wife, children , sister , husband mother or father. We can’t just deny everything and live as normal with the killers of our people. If you don’t have a reason to die then you do not have reason to live. What should happened in order we take decision in our life. The higdef already told us your sorrow, your death , your suffer is not ours. They danced in Germany in Saudi Arabia and now preparing to dance in Atlanta when the European cry and mourn with us. Please my people take decision and send all the higdef to hell and live a worth life.

Dear Eritrean
To all Eritreans time to act, everywhere in the world Eritreans should not participate or take part in any events organised by PFDJ,supporters or any one associated with the organisation PFDJ. We have lost our beloved brothers and sisters. PFDJ and supporets were dancing and celebrating during the weekend, this is not the culture or tradition of Eritreans. We may have a different political believe or stand, but when innocent Eritreans dying and the world press is shocked by the events and specially the Italian government announced a national mourning day The news from the Eritrean national TV was that immigrants from East Africa had died, (WHY). ‘They are Eritreans’ no one can deny and dispute their nationality. Solidarity is the engine of unity therefore we should collectively reject PFDJ and should not participate in any events. I also call urgent action to be taken by all Eritreans to demonstrated and rally against the PFDJ everywhere in the world for the memory of our brothers and sisters who lost their precious lives in the Mediterranean sea.
