At last the Eritrean tyrant is described as the ruthless dictator that he is. This kind of debate gives me hope that the days of beastly archaic pfdj organization may be shortened.
However, it is so sad, really sad, that the innocent Eritrean people have been targeted by their own citizens. The amount of people perishing at the hands of the regime inside Eritrea, and out of the country.
I sincerely hope that the All Eritrean will soon Unite and get rid of the current regime.
Some of you saying thank you and others stating “these people” meaning house of the lord are making the main actor…..
What is very much sad is though – “these people” are telling Eritrean people these:
1: Eritrea is a mess
2: Eritrean opposition groups are pathetic and useless
3: Eritrean opposition groups are unreliable and simply confused
4: Almost everyone in Eritrea has disowned his/her own country
5: There is no hope that Eritrea has any inspirational leader(s)
6: Eritrean people mostly are not like the “Arab spring” standing up to evil rulers – in fact worst yet these people have now concluded how useless Eritrea is.
7: These people are beginning to question that the Eritrean people fleeing their country are doing so for self preservation rather than their country – meaning no Eritrean cares anymore of his/her own country.
8: The best thing to do is for “these people” to work with whoever is in power in Eritrea
9: Now, they are beginning to do whatever it takes – not because they did not know before the plight of Eritrea but because their bigger partner “Ethiopia” is in a state of mess and showing some cracks,
10: Ethiopia is what these “people” are worried and thus need to react fast – the collapse in Ethiopia is a “no no” thing.
Eritrean brothers and sisters – rather than fighting amongst you and wasting away your days digging dirt of your friends and people you have no business – the time to work united and for one goal has come and gone. But yet time is still what we have got.
Sharpen your head rather than indulging yourself with others ideas – come up with better idea to remove the evil leaders in Eritrea and start fresh where Eritrea will nurse itself from ruins.
Well, some times being brutally honest if healthy. So “these people” are debating over Eritrea because we are simply useless for the most part. There is no drug invented to have Eritrea people take and walk up from today’s grim reality. Simply stated the nation of Eritrea and the people are in “self destruction” path.
Isaias the liar sends his messengers and tells specific audience that the national service 18 month time limit will be restored. If it is true, announce it officially to the Eritrean people through your freaking media. If it is not true, shut your liar mouth and don’t ever make that kinds untrue announcements. This is not joke, peoples lives are involved/affected.
It is a TRAGEDY! The modern highly educated “ዓበይቲ ዓዲ” have already proved their impotence to do anything worthwhile to SAVE Eritrea. The last 24-year–period is historical testimony. As for the future it is doubtful that the Eritrean intellectuals will play a vanguard role. It is not their ‘cup of tea’! The following exasperated expression from an honest and courageous Eritrean scholar is a testimony of the reality of Eritrean intellectuals, thus concluding: “They should have the moral courage and intellectual integrity to speak on behalf of the voiceless and the oppressed.” It was an honest appeal knowing full well the reality and the hopelessness.
How about the Diaspora 80-odd oppositions and civic organizations? Forget it! As the poetic saying goes: “Don’t you have a dead loved-one?”
How about the harassed people themselves in the country? They continue to be harassed by the ‘beloved’ Master until deposed by another ‘beloved’ strong man from the Military……. Eritrea >>>well, read the following!

Indeed! It is a slow, very slow death ….it is agonizing death …… it is the Classical TRAGEDY of Humanity. Or [at a risk of divulging my ignorance] as a main Actor in a classical Theater put it, with his head down, to explain his weird doings: “I cannot help it” Or in the words of “ዓበይቲ ዓዲ” of our humble and wise ‘uneducated’(!?) ancestors, Eritrea “እግዝ’ሄር ጸሊኡላ እዩ።”
Dear Readers: “Bend down your head and cry” silently.
For all the people who thinks the government was working for our benefit, wake up, or you are Andenet.
THE LAST 24 YEARS Eritrean’s freedom was hijacked and The Temben Dictator illminated all Eritrean deqebat who asked him to impement the constitution and transfer the power to the people, his hidden agenda is now unconvered, The dictator is endeed a messenger of some kind, never fought for Eritrea nor its people.

Aren’t you one of those “modern highly educated” man? It is ironic, how you talk about yourself this way. You are not a layperson like most of us. I just wonder, what is the use of your comments, if you aren’t offering any solution? You know Rezen, with all due respect, you are spending your time pointing at others like yourself and restating the same problems. Once you discover the main problem, there is no needs to repeat it. “modern highly educated” people like you should spend their time looking for a solution; be a leader and a problem solver. Don’t tell the Eritrean people, they have problems, because they know and they are living with these problems. “Modern highly educated” people should be able to inspire people like me. Eritrean people know the problems that are eating them alive. At this point, what they need is how to solve these problems.
Rezen, I said this because I think, you are a very smart man.

The dictatorial regime in Eritrea does not want peace and reconciliation with Ethiopia for one simple truth. That is to maintain its extermination policy against the people of Eritrea and make sure to stay in power to implement its evil policy. Those who think the Eritrean suffrage and plights are correlated with the ongoing Ethio-Eritrea political and military tension is simply untrue. The only key factor that drives all Eritreans to leave their country is the brutality and cruelty of the PFDJ regime and permanent absence of rule of law that grantee the freedom and rights of citizens. There is no way to equate Ethiopian situation with that of Eritrea”s given the degree of oppression and suppression in Eritrea which is currently being practised the lunatic regime of Eritrea.

Those who think that our suffrage and plights are directly related to the ongoing Ethio-Eritrea political and military tension is simply nonsense. There is no way to equate Ethiopian situation with that of Eritrea’s, given the degree of oppression and suppression in Eritrea which has been practised for years by the lunatic regime of PFDJ. There is no genuine problem in Ethiopia at all, except for those few Amhara who are fuelled by ethnic based hatred toward the Tigray people. There are too many political parties in Ethiopia, if they wanted they could have formed their own parties. It is just outrageous to parallel Eritrea with Ethiopia. It seems to me that the House of Lords has missed a crucial fact about Ethiopia, that is they did not read and understand the hidden agenda of Amhara movement whether those in Eritrea or in abroad. The only problem of the Amhara people is just they are ruled by Tigray minority.
thank you House of Lord, that you express and inform to the world, the reality of the leadership in the Horn of Africa. Wake up brothers to save our innocent Eritreans.
