Speaking the truth , some thugs with no moral value hijacked the aim we all anticipated for HADDAS Eritrea
we dreamt in our life and the price we paid for our precious brothers/sisters lives . But that doesn’t mean
it is over to stop us from continuing the struggle to fulfill the promise we vowed for the great country we
all love and care most and to see our people live in peace and harmony .
Anyway I am glad to hear your story from your save place to speak to your people . Respect Amiche hawey .
Assenna – bring more of these stories. If not written at least it is recorded. Good Job. I am waiting to hear Part 4 eagerly. I was never part of any armed struggle but have seen it and heard it all. I knew right from the start (~1991) Eritrea was in a down-hill with these leaders. Eritrea had a culture it is destroyed! Eritrea had respect and it is tossed out to the side. I heard we are all great and i learned though life – we are (generalizing it) very wicked people – not of our own will but of the current leadership in Eritrea. Hate, evil, vindictive, jealousy are the fabric of Eritrea. Everyone, almost everyone, is a criminal. Listen to this part 3 interview – even Samuel was playing his card (I would do the same to survive) but it is one broken nation. Samuel – good you are safe but bring it out to all of us so that we are aware of it – even remotely. What happen to the old Eritrea? Everyone in power should be notified of their criminal act to the Eritrean people and their fate in the near future “there should not be any excuse as in ” I was told to do so as it is always the case””. Waiting for part 4.
You should be the last person to be concerned about Eritrean people, because, when you joined the E.P.L.F, you were old and educated enough to predict the possible consequence of your intention.
Belay Nega you don’t make any sense this guy Samuel has served his country. What have you done for Eritrea?you just cheer for the dictator he told you clearly that he is a failure him and his administration are deaf who are you trying to defend now? you adore him but he never like you and care about you.
Ato Belay,
It is honorable thing to do to admit you were wrong but your mistake was just you were wrong. Almost the whole nation used to like isayas. We all made mistakes, but we didn’t know who he is (except very few and unfortunately we didn’t pay any attention to what they were telling us).
So, now, why are you still supporting him? Why don’t you undo your mistakes (if any)? That I have failed to understand your reason.
Indeed he is a dreamer. Instead of attacking the contents of the subject just like his masters in Asmara, he attack the person or individual. More liklely he/she is paid agent of the regime in Asmara. When we ask about the constitution, they talk about Weyane this Weyane that. Heck, who said we can’t defend our country with a constitution in place?
” he attack the person or individual. More liklely he/she is paid agent of the regime in Asmara”
Poor Eritrean politics cannot go beyond this, you will keep on blaming guys with different idea, as paid agents either by Eritrean or Ethiopian gov.
Nothing is expected from you, except GIGO[GARBAGE IN, GARBAGE OUT].
For your information Belay is my real name.
“belay he thinks smart than any body he is a dreamer”
If at all, recognizing the DEEP ROOT of Eritrean problem, makes somebody to be smart, yes I am smart.
Dreamers are like you, who consider Ethiopians, the people whom you made to remain land locked, as a strategic ally.
It is about time – time is running out on EPLF – it is only a matter of time…. Question is who will lead the nation next? Anyone out there? Everyone looks like the same to me. It is almost there and time is running out on them…..I do sense it and I see the writing all over the walls…. before that though – there should be one more move and it will be a desperate move (if we buy in to it we will pay for it if we hold back that will be it for Eritrean leaders…. Just watch and stay tuned….

Unlike this coward,I am a full man who first criticize myself, for contributing to the suffering of my people, and not being able to defend them.

Dear Mighty
“Why don’t you undo your mistakes (if any)? That I have failed to understand your reason.”
Unfortunately the the mistake I did is “Once done cannot be undone”. I just regret for taking part in the arm struggle.
“So, now, why are you still supporting him?”
There is a big difference between supporting, and looking at the president, from the victim point of view, like any Eritrean.
