You encourage soundbites instead of logical explanation in your websites; You have not posted anything about the Frankfort conference of eritrean oppositions nor that of Nairobi. Hi Amaniel Eyassu,

Your negative position on the Nairobi Conference will doom you for good. From now now on word, expect fast slide into the abyss along with isaias afewerk and woyane; Eritreans have finally decided control of their destiny, for which I have been working hard.

Dear Compatriots Assenna Team and Amanuel,

After intently listening to your broadcasts for several years, I have never been more prouder and found a shared sense of ideals, than listening to recent Smerrr Paltalk interview. Please continue your efforts, we need you.

But, there seems to be two diametric opposing strategies in conflict with each other of deposing the despotic regime in Eritrea.

Strategy one: removing the regime by any means necessary within the shortest time-frame; forming the so called “Opposition Groups” to consolidate resources as well as the resolve to create a military force to supplant the regime as a transitional government.

Strategy two: “Wedi-Vaccaro Project”- using grass roots movement in the Diaspora to garner participation of concerned individuals and all other relevant organizations to form independent blocks that would coordinate and convene into a sub-regional group and later organized into continental committees based on elected membership.

The former strategy is an outdated policy (providing drugs as a remedy without diagnosing the symptom) and leads to history repeating itself. The more lasting and a necessity in establishing the foundation for society to practice participation within the confines of constitutional law, is of the latter.

However, it is void of “Ehl-lama”; although the general public is interested in living in a “free” Eritrea, there seems to be a detachment in the visualization aspect of attaining this dream. It is absent of an identity.

We must correlate the ideals and aspirations of “Natsinet” to “Formation a Constitution”. We, in the diaspora, must use the Vaccaro Project to start the process of debating and formulating a Constitution (1997 Constitution not excluded). This will allow for more of a mass participation of expressing their ideals and bringing about a shared ownership and a sense of civic responsibility in the future of their country.
