We are following in your news that the embassy and consultates of the PFDJ are trying to collect petition from the Eritrean people in dispora. Here in Zambia we don’t have a representative of PFDJ but there is a group or a family who are called Petros family they took an initiative and send a text message to each and every eritrean to come and sign the petition today Jan 10. The place of gathering is Portico an italian club. This family or group they don’t have good relation with the eritrean community, they are well known with their ill deeds such as corrapting the authorities of zambia and try to distabilize and deport eritrean nationals. So far because of them there are three or four people who are deported from Zambia. By doing these they want to show the PFDJ that they are with them and get some previlages back at home.

I hope by now you analyzed the latest interview of the Eritrean Tyrant. The interview is filled with deception and lies laced with honey.

(1) He stated in his interview as a conspiracy is hatched to attack Eritrea. He started all the conflicts with neighbours and blames others for that;

(2) He criticizes corruption while all is done under his regime. It is even hard not to exonerate him personally from this allegations;

(3) He mentions housing issue as critical issue now. The housing problem has been there all these years, while he and his regime blocked all efforts by Eritrean to build their own houses. Now after all these years he wakes up and discovers that it is a big issue. He is shading crocodile tears;

(4) He rants about world politics as if he is a political analyst meddling in world affairs. He considers himself as the world “know it all” political expert. He can not govern this some country, Eritrea. Yet he acts as an expert.

So on and on…

I am struggling for some time now about the name of your radio station “Aseye-Asena or just Assenna”. I assume you came up with this name in good time or to reflect good time. or might have some historical meaning. It is not a bad name at all.

As your message is basically political in nature. I feel that this name does not reflect the existing situation and mentality of majority of Eritrean at this particular time. Moreover, the name should be able to galvanize the Eritrea people to action against the tyranny of HIGDEF.

During nazi occupation in Europe and soviet communist regime, a name like “Radio Free Europe” similar names have been used successfully. I suggest a similar approach to re-naming “Assenna”. Something Like “Voice of Free Eritrea”. Radio Free Eritrea, etc

In your capacity as Radio Station pertinent to Eritrea, I am sure you came across a large number of Eritrean who were imprisoned, tortured or persecuted as well as troves of information regarding the transgression and crimes against humanity committed by HIGEDF government on Eritreans.

Dissemination of information is one thing and practical activism is another thing. With these trove of information and witness’s you have interviewed, I am confident you can organize for it to be presented it to the International Criminal Court (ICC). The issue is being addressed by United Nations Commission for Human Rights, but we Eritrean should also try to do by our self in parallel with the commissions en-devours.

The International Criminal Court (ICC)has a unit which accepts and reviews evidences for criminal investigation. I am quite confident a pro bono lawyers in England or other parts of Europe could help you in organizing and submission of the evidence. The address of the ICC is as follows:
