This case should to be brought to International Criminal Court as evidence, how the human right abusing is going on in Eritrea without proper trial to indicate. I believe this and alike case Dawit Yishak´s and Aster Yohanns´s including would be very supportive additional evidence for Wodi Vacao´s mission that has plan to brought Isyas to ICC court to face justice by coming one or two month time.
Actually the British they experienced about the Eritrean regime lawless behavior, the Americans as well they do not need more evidence from us to know, how the regime in Eritrea is criminal and illegal and doing everything without justice and trial. They know as ruling for 24 years without election, rule of law , justice and constitution. They know very well, Isyas by rejecting the US and Rwanda´s peace plan because ignited the third round devastating war, as he caused for more than 100000 innocent citizens life in both sides, for caused 10s of thousand disabled and millions displacing. Atleast for those 365 citizens in Lampadusa perished one should be responsible for that. Isyas blaming US and Westerns as are for that and for all human trafficking crime guilty. if they couldn´t understand how our helpless people are suffering in side home, how could be they simply tolerated when Isyas´s baseless accusing them, while he self is the root cause of for all Eritrea´s domestically problems including Lampadusa tragedy?

Sadly Mihret is one of many Diaspora Eritreans who went to Eritrea to visit who was made to disappear by the cruel regime. Most family members do not speak up about this issue, fearing it would worsen their loved one’s condition. Mihret’s daughters are brave for speaking up on behalf of their mom. They should be relentless in their pursuit for justice for their mother.
People who are planning to visit Eritrea should think twice lest they end up in shipping containers for years. The so called “nai taesa wereket” is a joke and will not be respected by Isayas’ goons!

We should unite to hand the supporters as well, when ever they partcipate in illegal activities like paying 2% and all the unnecessary activities, should shut down as matter fact that they ignore the pain of innocent people. Why does the investive reporter call Eritrean embassy in Washington DC? The reporter could easily ask “ALAZAR ABRAHAM” the extended inteligence arm of Asmara in Oakland. Few years ago, state department shut the Eritrean consul down but it is now reopened as “COMMUNITY CENTER”. This community center has two functions.
1. Inteligence on Eritreans in Oakland, its environs and US.
2. Organizing party to rise fund for the outlawed dictator
Anyone out there who thinks the new community center is a “caltural development center” must be naive. The main function of that place is “SNOOPING” on eritreans who are against the so called president.
Channel 2 investigating reporter should start its process of investigating from Alazar Abraham’s office in the Oakland community center

I totally agree with Asmerom.
If anyone has a key to this ladies prison cell, it is the dictator’s “izni” in Oakland: Alazar Abraham.
He knows why Mihret is behind bars, as he most likely was the one who snitched on her.
I hope the TV Reporter pursues this matter further and go after Alazar and Araia G. Ephrem (another “nihna nisu” zealot snitch in Oakland).

The sad part is that many hundreds of youth are in Oakland but no action taken (except few yrs ago, some of them were very active). With all the # of youth, who supposedly angry at HGDF, the criminals in the ECC are roaming around with no fear. Something is wrong with our people, really. Some of these youth even attend in their activities. How is that possible?

That is the problem, the youth in Oakland have been active but not that active. If HGDF has a party, most youth who are against HGDF, attend HGDF’s party. It is just confusing. It shows how not serious the youth are. How hard is to organized and work hard to sabotage HGDF’s money making party? The least they can do is boycott HGDF’s party. I agree with you and Asmerom that the investigating process should start in Oakland. I do not deny the regime in Asmara is the worst. But there is no way theey would know without help from Oakland. Someone or group must have informed the Shefatu in Asmara that this woman was doing somehing against the goverment.
There are two isues and / or questions here.
1. How did the Shifta in Asmara know what this woman was doing in Oakland? The answer is easy! Some one in
Oakland must have tipped them. So who is / are the obvious suspects? Alazar, Araya, Hiwot and etc …
2. How can we help the investigating reporter? We have to identfy people like Alazar, Araya, Hiwot and
others and provide the reporter and local congress about their hidden (behind the community) agenda.
Vote counts!! and anyone who runs for an office will actively look for demands that come from “MANY”. So we are too many in Oakland. So if we can organize and run a campaign to infor who these people are to local authorities and congressmen, I gaurantee that they will look into it.

Let’s organize:
Lets write petition, letters and reports and send them to the congress men in Oakland area. The community center has to be closed and Alazar, Araya, Hiwot and their buddies have to be investigated.

I am proud of her family for speaking out. This kind of cases have been happening for years to all Eritreans inside the country and diaspora Eritreans. We have so many Eritreans who died in the hand of PFDJ’s operative for more than 18 years. For what ever reason the Isayas and PFDJ’s operatives have been taking Eritreans to jail and make them killed or disappeared. I don’t know when we are going to get it, this regime hate Eritreans. Why is it so hard for us to unite, regardless of whatever differences we think we have? The Eritrean women have been the back bone of this regime. When are we the Eritrean women going to get it, we have the power to turn the Isayas regime upside down and free our people? We need to do more. Every Eritrean should see this kind of case as his/her own. It could happen to everyone of us, if it hadn’t happened already. We need to UNITE, UNITE, UNITE, UNITE…NOW! Isayas is counting on our division and fragmented effort against him, to stay in power as long as he possibly can.
Eritrean women are missing from the struggle for free and just Eritrea. Have we noticed in any meeting or seminars, Eritrean women are missing. Eritrean men have to do better jobs, educating the women in their lives. What I hear sometimes, about Eritrean women supporting Isayas is because they want to visit Eritrea. What kind of sick mentality is that? Is this due to lack of Education or Eritrean women in diaspora lost their moral compass? What kind of women support any regime, government or man, when their sisters, daughters, mothers are victims of atrocious acts? Eritrean men in diaspora need to do more in order to pull the women in their lives to the side of our people. I want to say to the Eritrean women in diaspora, wake up, Isayas is not your friend. Going to Eritrea every year and witnessing the suffering of your Eritrean sisters, should make you uncomfortable. If you are not, then something is wrong with you. You may be are old and you want to enjoy your lives, but you are leaving the legacy of stupidity, selfishness and immorality to your children and grandchildren. The Eritrean people will never forget your support of their oppressor and killer Isayas. Still, it is not too late for Eritrean women in diaspora to wake up and say enough is enough to the Isayas’s regime.
My heart goes out her family and to all Eritrean who are in the same situations.

The regime has agents who spy on Eritreans in Diaspora. Many innocent people are missing in Eritrea because of reports written by criminal spies working secretly, hidden in community centers. In future when the brutal regime is finally gone, no matter how long it takes, these people should be brought to justice. If there are those who think we will live in peace by forgiving these criminals they should be reminded that justice is a prerequisite of any durable peace.

Long time ago I heard this story but with her reputation as hard core supporter of HGDF it was a surprise
after they arrest her . And many suspect that something went wrong in
between their activities. Eritreans in bay area know better about that lady if
someone can give us any clue behind

If she was HGDF supporter, now she is the victim of the very system she has been supporting, this is going to send a strong message to women like her. Still it is not OK for Isayas to hold or kill this woman without any reason.

Yes, she was. A big one that is. She was very bully, in cafes, churches and she was giving warning for those who dislike the government. She used to say, I will see if you go to Eritrea. Well, well, well. Look who is now in jail. I know her very well.
However, when I heard she was arrested, after reality sunk in, I start to feel sorry about her. No on deserves this.
Alazar, Abdela Sifaf, Kifle, Frewayni (she was her buddy by the way), etc. it is coming to you. You have already betrayed your compatriot. These people have no principle or shame, at all. If one of their friend is arrested, they immediately betray them.

Yes, and people say that he went to that useless community center (community my ass – pardon my french) of theirs and asked about his mother’s status and they have ignored him. They probably have told him to get lost, these semi-animal people. Then, he went to the BART station (I think) and committed suicide. He was very young. So, so hard to even think of about that. The whole thing is so sad. Someone will be accountable, after the HGDF riffraffs be cleaned and thrown to whatever they deserve.

Our people have been under siege for twenty three years by the impostor Isaias Afewerqi for a reason some Eritreans are intuitively aware but remain silent praying that they are wrong; some taking a misleading cue from the treacherous woyane, dub it tyranny, and the rest, loudly and boisterously defend him as angelic and infallible, and attribute all of his to his subordinates.
If the above groups were medical doctors attempting to diagnose the causative agent of the disease, gauging from their irreconcilably contradictory views, the patient is sure to succumb to the disease.
Remember when the AIDS appeared for the first time, the doctors were helpless and the patients were dropping like autumn leaves. The HIV was/is extremely slick , deceptive and master tactician. The DNAs of the immune cells are its targets.
Although the cell walls have barriers preventing unwanted things from entering into the cell, the HIV deceives the barriers by covering itself with protein. Once inside the protoplasm, it dumbs its protein cover and hijacks the DNA to reproduce its own offsprings, who in turn invade other immune cells, thereby, rendering the patient devoid of his immune cells, exposes him/her to die of simple opportunistic diseases.
The actions of the impostor Isaias Afewerqi and HIV are analogous. Our people have not yet come to a consensus as to what the nature of Isaias Afewerqi is because he is a master illusionist: he covers his vicious inner reality by virtuous outward appearance, speech etc.; he is sadistic, murderer, even genocidal etc. of the extreme type, and yet exudes outwardly peacefulness, calmness shyness, friendliness etc. looks sometimes is indeed deceptive.
Isaias Afewerqi joined ELF in 1966 during the era of Qiada Al Ama, when many young Eritreans from the Universities, who joined ELF, were being slaughtered as Ethiopian spies. On the contrary, Isaias Afewerqi successfully integrated himself into the fold of Qiada Al Ama. He was even accorded scholarship to the Republic of China. The question for all us now is, How did he do it? Are there any clues that can suggest his tricks?
Other than his being master illusionist, his Passport to permanent leadership within EPLF were his hard achieved theoretical and military knowledge and his pretention of complete commitment to the struggle of Eritrean Liberation. He forced himself to be ahead of the pack in every endeavor, which gained him complete loyalty and trust among all the EPLFs, the very ingredients he cherished most to realize his dark secret.
The qualities he exhibited with Qiada Al Ama however were different but applicable to then prevailing situation. Back then his winning tickets were his prolific study of Arabic language and pointing fingers at his fellow Eritrean University student as Ethiopian spies.
The hatred the ELF leaders, Abdella Edris in particular, had later developed for this guy, I am sure, emanated from the way he cheated them not only to commit horrendous crimes on the innocent Eritrean University students, to send him for scholarship to Communist China but also for double crossing them after he returned. The did not verbalize the cause of their hatred because that would unravel their criminal conduct against the innocent tegadelti.
If we analyze his life history, including that of his Secondary School and University, Liberation era, post independence, we cannot but correctly infer that his goal all along has been the decimation of Eritrea from within. Meles Zenawi’s interview with Paul Henze of 1990, the unnecessary and illegal war of 1998 with Ethiopia, subsequent purge and incarceration of senior veteran EPLFs, the shelving of the ratified Constitution and disbanding of the baito etc. underscore this truth.
But then, if Tedros Adhanom Gebreyesus, the current Foreign Minsiter of woyane, who was born, raised, educated in Eritrea, could marshal such animosity on Eritreans and their Sovereignty, we must not be surprised with Isaias Afewerqi, who is more tigrai genes.
However, the brave family of Mhret has powered kerosene on his accursed body and it will not be very long before we set him on fire.
My fellow Eritreans,
We must never forget that the impostor Isaias Afewerqi has never been alone; the treacherous woyane is part and parcel of his evil schemes on our country and people. The 100,000 Eritrean woyane deported in the worst anti humanity manner after stealing their property both from Ethiopia and Badme, the border instigations it undertook etc., were all plotted and implemented by the two evils.
And we must be aware that evil woyane has organized board of writers whose job is to put out propaganda materials under the pseudonyms and Photos, Fetsum Abraham , Yesief Gebrehiwet etc. targeted at polarizing Eritrean people into ethnic, religious and demographic conflict.
Adding insult to the injury, there are Eritrean political organizations, such as EDA, EPDP etc. that are under strict woyane control, with which the treacherous woyane dreams of legally mutilating Eritrea into its constituents through ethnic based referendum. Remember their constitution woyane drew up for them, which allows self determination up to session to every one our ethnic groups. They love to hide it but they cannot.
Therefore, unless we head-on confront the woyane factor now, we will have problem even if we overthrow the impostor. Remember, fore warned is fore armed.
