I thought the gov’t of Eritrea stop it. can someone explain to me? I know in america got a lot of money by making a big party in dc but the gov’t stop it and i guess the money is in bank i am not sure. why you guys so concern about this particular school. The whole eritrea needs reconstraction. we need to come together to eliminate the dictator and then we will build our lovely country. please explain if they start it again or someone want to play with the money.
st.Giorgio school is not a unique. but it has a historical school, a lot of students from different back ground had been learned there and joined the EPLF and bring Freedom to Eritrean people.it is a school that gives a fruit full to every one and educated there regardless of where he/she comes from. Even though it is rejected by current region ;it has to be reserved, I think it is moral to support that particular school.
What is wrong with you people? It is not only San Georgo that needs reconstruction. The whole Mendefera needs reconstruction; all the schools throught the country need reconstruction; the only higher educational institute (ex-university of asmara) needs reconstrucgtion; the people , the nation need reconstruction. It is like treating only your thumb from gangrene, while the whole body is dying bit by bit from cancer. By the way, where does the money end up? Are you guys gonna give the money to the ministry of education to oversee the renovation? If so, wake up.
People get real! What is the priority of the Eritrean people? Construction/Renovation of high school or JUSTICE. let us get rid off this mad dog then we can talk about renovation. Why now? People are getting ready to go to Bologna 2013!
It is important to support this fine high School. Why would anyone object for doing a positive change? The question one should ask is what had happened to the money gathered from previous events. If the govt is receiving the money, I would object raising a single penny. If not, fixing the almost ruin school is exemplary!
I personally know many highly educated who attended this fine high School.
I UNDERSTAND THERE IS MONEY SITING AT THE BANK IN THE USA. T THINK SOME GOVERNMENT IN EU COULD ALSO PAY TO FIX THE SCHOOL. I THINK THE PROBLEM IS THE GOVERNMENT OF HGDEF DO NOT WANT THE SCHOOL TO BE FIXED. INSTEAD, THEY ASK THE MONEY TO BE GIVEN THE THEM (HGDEF). I BELIEVE WE ALL MENDEFERANIANS ARE READY TO PAY ONE MONTH OF OUR SALARY IF IT’S ……………….
Eritrea need STRONG MILITARY and PEACE first not the contraction of this tiny school with ZERO contribution for other awarajas of Eritrea. We need to BUILD also OUR Tse-A-Zega school in Hammasien which means on Hammasien gathering. This idea is not good. This is a political motive for gathering only people from one awaraja. ALL HIGH SCHOOL NEEDS RENOVATION – NOT ONLY THIS TINY SCHOOL BUt Tse-A-Zega school needs renovations too.
Should not Alula Aba Nega fund pay for Tse A tzega ???
Relax ,people my grandmother on my mothers side was from Tse A tzega.
Yes ,Tse A zega is Hamasien !!!!
I remember after independence when they said ; ” Everybody contribute on development of his place of origin ” .
The corrupted regionalists took advantage to find followers on their stupid temporary practice for gathering
of selected group . I think it destruct our livelihood to effect our mutual respect and understanding of each
other at that time . We should resist from such kind of damaging practice .
Can anyone from the organizers could tell us how much money raised last times and what have been accomplished so far? Can higdef let you guys to invest the whole money only for this particular school? How much money you need to reconstruct the school so people can make figure about it? Other wise it we will like endless collection of money like higdef does ,drar tegadelti, orphans, sidra siweat which all the money end up in Hagos kisha’s and Isayas private account. Sorry to say that because nothing come positive from Eritrea. I am neither optimist nor pessimist.I am realist.
Eritreans were generous on their contribution for national cause but we didn’t see satisfactory results
in regard of reputation and accountability . Prove me that we as people can exercise our willingness to
develop the country independently without interference of higher authority pressure . By then I might
consider to take part to fulfill my obligation . At the same time , I am not fond of these kind of such
practice to seek attention on specific places because of my personal connection . What is next Adi Keyih-

Sorry , let me continue .
Keren school , Massawa , Assab ……….. and so on . In Eritrea nowadays the students and their parents
start to get agitated when they reach at high school grade level because of their fate into national service .
The core problem of our youngsters difficulties have to do with lack of freedom to lead their life in peace .
