Sure they can write poems and songs, but they can not or do not have courage to defend their country and people. Do you know these people left behind 24,000 innocent soldiers in the Sudan deserts and fled to Western countries. Now calling the young generation to rise up for no reason while their kids and grand kids are studying in the Western Colleges and Universities and living in air-conditioned homes.

Gezae, do you know Bashay and his comrades liberated Bademe in 1976 and your mafia boss Assyas after along with Woyane controlled the village, he (DIA) in 1982 gave Bademe to woyane and socially sick people like you are still worshiping him.

Have you ever wondered why people are persuaded by outright lies? And why lies tend to stick even after they’re debunked by facts? Brother, like you did, I have heard several times ELF/Labor Party senior cadres accusing and engaging in outright lies and extreme exaggeration about EPLF, while insisting on the truthfulness of their own and their destructive so named Revolutionary Council leaders.
Honestly, lies tend to stick in people’s minds, and can sway the political understanding of a conman people, as well as public opinion in many arenas. I understand people want to hear what they want to hear. Sometimes the public didn’t want to hear the whole truth. If the subject isn’t very important to you or you have other things on your mind, misinformation is more likely to take hold. So rejecting false information requires more effort than just taking it in.That is, weighing how plausible a message is to, or assessing the reliability than simply accepting that the message is true
Sure I know most of the Assenna family members not only do believe on lies, but wanted to be lie to, because if they want to win some innocent people, they better need lying and lairs, telling the truth doesn’t have a chance in Assenna. Lying has been in the news often. We caught them at several times. I don’t know why everyone else didn’t see through it. To have embraced lying as a necessity and outright lies are so common as to almost have become the norm here.
Back to the main point. In the very beaning of 1975 I was in Akeleguzay with ASABAT 68. In 1976 I was Sawa the then in Arag Sahle. I took Comando and then Military Intelligence courses by the BaAsist Iraqi instructors. Soon after our battalion freed Adibara and Tamarat I left for South Dankalia. In years 1981-2 in Sudan camps. In 1983/4/5/and early 6 in Halhal, Aititehamel, Ruba Asbeba and lot. In 1986 I was in Tigray leading ELF/sagm political and propaganda units. So I do have deep knowledge the wars held in Tigray not only Badme village but the whole areas bordering Eritrea with Ethiopia from Humera up to northern Dankalia.
It is white lies Bademe liberated in 1976 and in 1982 EPLF gave Bademe to woyane. Woyane and EDU were there. There was a unsolved contact was between ELF and TPLF, but there was no settlement about. Let me tell the truth in 1986 when we came back to Tigray the first person I me met was Adey Tsege the mother of Haneta Gebresadiq Tsega/the head of ELF militia killed by Wayane in Adiabo. She is my relative and knows me well that I was a member of ELF. Do you know when she saw with Haile Teferi/Abariqo she cried and asked me to leave soon the area because she said we do not another un necessary war here. Enough is enough the war was quite wrong. She was right the war with Wayane sided EDU what so ever was not wise, strategic and was timely while the big enemy was in Shire and Adi Awala.
I’m not upset that you lied to me, I’m upset that from now on I can’t believe you. ― Friedrich Nietzsche

How do you end up here and where do you live buddy? under the bridge? what do you benefit out of scribbling this garbage?Mr. G. nobody is declaring war here,it is a cyberspace and people have the right to voice their dissent in any shape or form against people like you and the regime you support who break out in hives and can’t tolerate criticism or freedom of speech.Fact check, nobody is sequestering and quarantining the youth by rounding them or holding food coupons from their families so that they won’t pose a threat to their illegitimate and dictatorial power for life. You can’t muzzle people’s mouth forever and writer is doing just that,so will the youngster.

The word war as a verb: fight, combat, battle and struggle, as a noun: battle, fights, struggle, combat, conflict, and as a adjective: martial, military, battle
Any way, war is an aberration of politics rather than an extension. War is a decision by one or more parties to put politics aside. Such decisions often arise from hubris and incompetence of politicians. We know the very word politics implies politeness, but nothing could be more impolitic than war. If politicians were more guided by the golden rule than by the gold they rule, war wouldn’t happen half so much. Politicians who, like Nelson Mandela, seek to vanquish their enemies by making them their friends, don’t cause wars.
However, most of the time in general war is the continuation of politics by other means. This really applies whether the politician is a democrat or a despot. Even a gang war is neighborhood politics. Hence, war can be the result of failure of internal politics understands properly and in a pretty matured manner. Certainly politics should be the means we have to develope to live together without having even to go to verbal war. It is an imperfect means and even the little wisdom we have gathered is often badly applied but that’s people for you.
Thus, come closer to discussion and reconcillation is the means that we have to develope to live together and avoid any type of war or war drums. Nevertheless, though we understand politics is the national form of diplomacy but that isn’t quite true on your sides. The truth is here, since you believe in radical change, destroy PIA/PFDJ government and machineries. Need to control power and exercise control in societies have always ended in violent war and violence

Sorry my comment has nothing to do with the above article (poem)
although I read it and understood its contents. My comment has a lot to do wity dr abiy. Abiy is trying to be different by changing two words from his predecessors. Janhoy and Mengustu’s wish the land by the sea but not the people. Abiy changes to no, no what we need is relationship people to people, and that is it.
Let’s all be aware to the conspiracy.

What is the purpose of the poem?
Irresponsibility is probably a matter of opinion; closer to the truth would be a phrase like intentionally and emotionally naive. As we all follow up, one of the secrets of diaspora political manipulation is to report the horror and strife of Eritrea/eans as though did not exist. Hence, an important feature of reporting that maintains audacious deception not consciously but through an internalized sense of what is just not done is to relay or show our enemies. This is why you made up political jargon, rumors and as such, to discredit PIA/PFDJ in order to break down order, distract the stable system and used to try to dis-way genuine Eritreans with propaganda is not wise enough..
Here my advice for those who stubbornly seek freedom and justice what so ever, there can be no more urgent task than to come to understand the mechanisms and practices of democratic struggle. In democracy, people like to believe that they and their country is generally good and great, for if it was any other way then it brings into moral question all they know and hold dear. If they are not, the history of their/this nation may have involved overcoming adversaries for legitimate reasons (e.g. the Eritrean war to gain its independence and freedom from the Ethiopian regimes was one based on strong moral grounds).
Thus, such important history is often recounted and remembered as part of the collective culture of the country and those same values are projected at any given times. So we need to comprehend that non-sensual propaganda sometimes creating fear of losing such cherished values. So that, it’s not OK to be completely delusional and detached from reality.
Good desire afar to back to the battlefield
But I saw the leaders had kneeled
I think the soldiers’ve been killed
May many are missing and the tomb’s been sealed.

Thank you Ato Gezae,
You are the only one who genuinely care for the young Eritreans lives.
The rest are all warmongers who want the young generation to suffer in poverty and in meaningless wars. But, our young Eritreans are far more smarter not to be fooled by warmongers opportunists HADEMTI that you rightly described them before, kill all Jebha losers.

When I deported from TPLF Ethiopia regime I came to the USA with scars on my soul
wounds on my body, fury in my mind all.
From the yard of yesterday I show up with my burden
to the old values, plunge again.
But when I turn to my comrads sacrifiece and their preciouse lives
pleased with the glories and sad with their losses.
National Army, who has sworn to defend,
for his/her home and Country fight until the end
It was not the politicians, with their compromise and ploys,
who won for us the freedom, that our Country now enjoys
For when country are in conflict, then we find the Army’s part,
to clean up all the troubles, that the nonsense politicians afar start.

Hi all,
Gezae I have read all your comments. At one point, you have partially revealed yourself and you deserve credit for that. For unknown reason you told us you r now a different person and I give u credit for that. But the question is what have you done to yourself? With all due respect, it seems you dragged yourself to the crossroads, and because of that you seemed to get lost. That said, my advice to you is fist find yourself (your stand)
My second question is ru uncle seye?
Gezae August 7, 2018
With due respect I am not Uncle Seye. My Family name is Gezae Tekie Asgodom, Tecle, Garza…………………My field name in Tigray/Ethiopia was Bimnet or Close friends know me as Nebsay. So as yet, I do not have any reason to change my name
Most people go into politics because they have aspiration to change things, influence the course of governance, help their people. To be a politician can be a very hard job which demands a lot of sacrifices if you are sincerely into it. You can be a good politician who moves things if you possess good communication skills, commitment, personal responsibility, high motivation, enforcement capacity and a secure and convincing manner. However, just having a noble aim is not enough. One is not suited to pursue as a politician without the needed self-confidence, enduring power of self-assertiveness and passion. Hence, if you posses these traits, there is no reason why one shouldn’t consider to be a flexible.
However, as a general way of ethical rule I can say, it is difficult for people in public life to change their minds very quick. But some times occur an immediate rush to entertain by playing a role as flip-flippers shift position on anything, even if they do so following a careful consideration of an issue. The hecklers will reliably accuse them of lacking the courage of their convictions, of being typical politicians, even though the typical politician actually tries to change his mind as rarely as possible, to avoid the hecklers.
Luckily, implicit in man’s nature is the idea of competition. This idea is what drives many aspects of life. Thus, as in everything else in life, no one may make you do anything. If a politician, either man or women, sticks to their idealistic nature, life might get rough, but those who persevere are the ones who are able to look themselves in the mirror each day. I am just not sure if there are any politicians out there who are able to do this. Or maybe you just don’t hear about the good ones because there is no “news” to be had from their story?
It’s human nature to progress into something better. That’s why it’s important and a must for everyone to understand Politics and how each Country in the World works. However, we can’t talk about a single party alone. If you see what is happening in Eritrea, is that there is no coordination between the government and opposition. I say this in the sense that..when the government does something good there is a need for the opposition to encourage back the government to get a room. If the opposition do something appreciable then the government should appreciate them and try to implement it for the benefit of the people. But what’s happening here? Whatever the deed is…even if it’s a very good one, the opposite groups try to find some or the other way to blame. How far can this keep on going? Will it be of any benefit?!
I agree that if there a bad deed done there is a need of debate and protest against it, but why do that even when there is something happening which is benefiting the people and the country? Lets see here, the first time the oppositions backed the current government after the Algeries and Hague agreement! But what happened later?! That the blame game again. Was there a real need for the oppositions to ask for the proofs? Why can’t they trust the government on these points who sacrifice their lives for peace and reconcillation to go on?There is a lot of turnaround that needs to happen. Hope everything falls at the right place at the right time!
