One way to weaken PFDJ’s efforts in the Diaspora is to make a pledge to yourself to never ever go to their meetings, festivals for any reason. Personally, even though I believe in our independence and sovereignty , I applaud the veterans and I respect all those who sacrificed their lives for Eritrea. But I will never ever celebrate these sacred holidays with PFDJ or their messengers. I don’t believe celebrating the dead while killing the living. I don’t believe dancing with those who do not give a damn about what is happening to the country at large.
If all can boycott their meetings, no one will be there to pay the rental fees for the hotels or any facilities and PFDJ will go bankrupt at least in Diaspora.
Instead those of us who are not agreeable with the PFDJ system should have our own celebratory/memorial etc meetings.
