ናይ ኣስመራ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ፕረሲደንት ነበር ዓንደ ርሃን ወልደ ገርግሽ ፡ ኣብዚ መድረኽ እዚ፡ ንስርዓት ኢሳያስ ብምቅዋም ፡ ፕረሲደንት ኢሳያስ ካብ ስልጣን ተወጊዱ ፡ ኣብ ኤርትራ ፍትሓዊ መንግስቲ ንክትከል ከምዝቃለስ ፡ ዘስምዖ ዘሎ መደረታትን ሰሚናራትን ፡ ዘሓጉስ እዩ ፡፡ ሕጂ ውን ኣብ ዓዲ እንግሊዝ፡ ኣብዚ ቀረባ እዋን፡ ህዝባዊ ኣኼባ ከየካየደ ኣይተርፍን ተባሂሉ ይዝንቶ፡፡ ይኹን እምበር ኣብቲ ቅድሚ ሕጂ፡ ዘካይዶ መደረታትን ሰሚናራትን ግን ፡ ብፍላይ እኳ ኣብ ከለን ጀርመንን ፡ ኣብ ስዊስን ተረኺቡ ፡ ካብ ህዝቢ ንዝቐርበሉ ሕቶታት ዝህቦ መልሲ ፡ ኣዝዩ ኣስካፍን ካብ ሓቂ ዝረሓቐን ስለዝኾነ ፡ ከየሰንበደኒ ኣይተረፈን፡፡
ብፍላይ ድማ ፡ ዓንደ ብርሃን ወልደ ገርግሽ ፡ ቅድሚሎሚ ብኢሳያስ ኣፈወርቂ ፡ ብደረጃ እሙን ወኪል ተሓርዩ ፡ ፕረሲደንት ናይ ኣስመራ ኮይኑ ፡ ኣብ ዘመሓድረሉ ዝነበረ እዋን ፡ ኣነ ውን ፡ ኣብቲ ግዜቲ ኣብ ኣስመራ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ፕሮፈሰር ኮይነ የገልግል ስለዝነበርኩን፡ ኣብ ልዕለና ኣብ ልዕሊ መማህራን ዩኒቨርሲቲን፡ ኣብ ልዕሊ ኣሽሓት ተመሃሮን ዝተጻወቶ ፡ ሰፍ ዘይብል ኣዕናዊ ተራን፡ በደልን ፡ ኣብ ክንዲ ይቕረታ ምሕታት፡ ከምዘይወዓሎን ዘይፈልጦን ኮይኑ ፡ ክኽሕድ ስለዝረኣኹ ፡ ሓቂ ንከይሽፈንን፡ ንጹር መጻኢ ራእይ ንኽህሉን ብማለት፡ ነዚ ሓጺር ጽሑፍዚ ከቕርብ ተገዲደ፡፡ ንዝሓለፈ ጊጋታትካ ክትእርም ዘይምድላይን፡ ሸፋፊንካ ምኻድን ግን ፡ ኣብ መጻኢ እዋን ውን ፡ ዕድል እንተጋጢሙኒ፡ ነቲ ቅድመ ሕጂ ዝፈጸምኩዎ ተግባራት፡ ኣዳህሊለ ክደግሞ እየ ማለትዩ ዘስምዕ ፡፡ መምዘኒ ናይ መንነት ድማ እዩ፡፡
እዚ ስለዝኾነ፡ እቲ ዝሓለፈ ገበናት ዳግማይ ንከይደግሞ ፡ ንሓው ዓንደብርሃን ፡ገለ ካብቲ ዘካየዶ በደላት ናይ ዓይኒ ምስክር ኮይነ ክትንትን ከለኹ፡ ኣብ ሕሊና ዝተሞርኮሰ ፡ ኣስተንትኖ ጥራይ ልቢ ውጹዓት ከምዘረስርስ ተረዲኡ ፡ ወግዓዊ ይቕረታ ንህዝቢ ክሓትት ከምዘለዎ ንምዝኽኻር እየ፡፡

The so-called Government of EPLF/PFDJ never been transparent and democratic. In a country where there has never been rule of law and democracy, Justice and fairness is not expected. It is grated that most higher officials of the regime have caused mess in Eritrea. But we as people need to be wise enough. We should be able to look at bringing solutions to the devastating situation our nation is facing. Eritrea belongs to all Eritreans, and all its citizens have to bring their resources together to end their people’s sufferings. If Andebrhan has decided to fight against Isias’s oppressive system to assure rule of law and democracy in Eritrea, Justice seekers have to welcome him and his followers. This is not a time of pointing fingers on each other. This is a time of mutual respect and understanding. I am not against anyone’s concern or compliant, but currently we don’t have any ground in Eritrea to address our complaints. And most important, we need to start exercising the concept of forgiveness.

although your argument seems mature…history teaches us that all past and present wrongs by so called opposition should be addressed and forgiveness asked by the individuals concerned to achieve a lasting unity and peace. Otherwise to just say lets forgive and move on don’t have an empathy to those who have been victims of those individuals.

It is there are people from a certain area who criticize Andebirhan ,not because he wronged us Eritreans ,but the narrow minded area by exposing their University “Intelectuals” coup d’etat.
When they refer chegwar danga (hill billies) they usually mean Eritreans from the center that are not educated by Catholic missionaries missionaries.
Andebirhan should be condemned for being an ass to the nation and be criticized by nationalists ,not by selective regionalist criticizers.

It is a shame to talk about something which was happened 25 years ago while the world is moving post 25 years. Ambasador Andebrhan is an asset for Eritrea and the world. We should have been proud Mr Andebrhan has joined for our struggle for liberty. As an x student at University of Asmara, let me tell you one fact: University of Asmara has never ever achieved the highest number of A grade students in its entire life apart from 1995-1998. In these years more than 25% of students got 4 when they join Asmara University and graduated having more than 3.8 GPA at the end. This shows, the so called crimes of Andebrhan has a positive effect on the well being of the university than negative. So what is wrong with Andebrhan? Why are we trumpeting something irrelevant to our struggle for ending dictatorship in Eritrea? Mr Andebrhan, as we all do, can make mistakes. But he is not only him. The dictatorship we are suffering is the making of all of us and we should work together to get rid of our predicament hand in hand with anybody who wants to get rid of this evil dictatorship. If we are against Andebrhan we are unwittingly supporting Isaias.

First, the person who write the article is stupid. Why the author raises such irrelevant issues now while there are other critical issues about Eritrea. Who is he after all to accuse others? Everyone should know that every Eritrean, regardless what he/she has done before has the right to participate in his/her country’s issues(political, economic, social, etc.). And thus like others, Andebrhan has the right to leave PFDJ and fight against them whenever he feels to do so. there is no reason why he should apologize. In this case, every tegadalay should apologize because he/she fought for 20 or 30 years for independence. This is senseless.

you are fool of the fool..the article doesn’t condemn Andeberhan in leaving HGDEF, rather it is the acknowledgment of the injustices that he did be known and Andebrehan ask forgiveness to those victims who are waiting for justice. He should be honest and address that issue first to have an acceptance in the struggle against dictatorship.

Once you know that this guy Andebrhan has no problem to lie because of his urge to defend the culprit (DIA) and blame it on the poor victims, he is not a person to be trusted or taken seriously.
In the past, he defended tooth and nail the very culprit that caused and in some cases facilitated the mess by going to extreme length.
What moral line does it take for a man to accuse the Eritrean victims without sweating from inside? He has to believe that he is on a hardened mission but not a trustworthy person at all. We must be really desperate and also running out of quality candidates to give this amateur actor another chance.

Tseggai, His name is not important. It is what he has written that is important. If you think the idea is not true then prove it wrong. Other wise where the writer lives is not important either.
The issue of what andebrehan did to the University of Asmara is important NOW because he is trying to emerge as the innocent politician who cares for Eritrea. Actually he he does not talk about Eritreans, he talks about the politics of the country not about the lives of the people of Eritrea. You would know this if you go search and listen to his speech. Frankly speaking, he is a PFDJ through and through. Like DIA he despises the people!

When a man tries to win the heart of a woman, he doesn’t try it by trashing other men.
He does it by proving to her that she would be better off if she chooses him over the other men.
Similarly, Mr Andebrhan should be allowed to win the heart and mind of our beloved lady (mother Eritrea)
and her children Eritreans with his new visions and medications/policies that is his medicare for future Eritrea.
In short, he has to sell and given an opportunity to show how better he is to save Eritrea from dying and extinguish.
Whining, complaining and criticizing PFDJ is not a vision. Counting every Eritrean problem under the sun, is not a ticket to govern a nation either. Let the bygones be bygones please. Thank you.

Are you trying to dismiss the people who were heart in Andebrehan’s evil scheme should for get it? For God’s sake they lives changed and many were humiliated, Families were hurt!!! how can anyone let this go and allow Anderbrehan to get to the power chair he is aspiring for????? If you are a justice-seeker, what does justice mean to you? Are you looking for justice for you and not for other Eritreans? Come on!!! With all due respect, I would like to say in a very humble way that I do not think you really understand the thesis of the article, you wish your keyboard was a dummy to comment a such: The article, clearly discusses about his ability to adminster a higher institute or office once was under scrutiny, in a overwhelmingly and unprofessional ways. The writer clearly gave us all the details, which is expected from an intellectual writer of this article. Due to the sensitivity of the issue at hand, in regards to the situation in our country (Eritrea), it could end up the same way if this Dr is going to involve; If so, he will be expected to show remorse for what he had done, let alone to reach out to then fellow Professors to apologize personally; that is the true colors of a leader. At the end, higher education is the “lab for ideas” as the writer conveyed and he sheds the light for future governance, he is no by no means blaming the Dr. Natnael, if you still do not get it, you may be a wrong audience.
