Click on this Shabait Link to Read the Revealing Paradoxical Incident of the PFDJ
Having seen the 2 photos in comparison , i remember one thing: 3 weeks ago ,i heard on Eritrean lady who repeatedly Saying:
– “my good !no one is in Eritrea who can shoot this man?”
– i said to her ” but even after his death our future is not clear ,may be we go to civil war ”
-She said “what? a civil war?”
-I said “Yes”
then she said “if so,then we go to Zimbabwe and would ask Menghistu,,,Menghistu please please come ”
And you reader, what do you think ?do you think the comparison is fair?
Teclay,
There is no difference between Menghistu and Isayas wedi Berad.
Both of them took down our liberation flag (SEMAYAWIT BANDERANA) and destroyed our land and our people.
As long as the mad dog Isayas wedi Medhin Berad and his blind followers are alive the misery will continue.
We must get reed of these killers Isayas wedi Berad and his blind followers HIGDEF just like we did with Menghistu and raise our LIBERATION FLAG (Semayawit Banderana, the flag of our martyrs, the flag of our for fathers, the flag of our heroes) and liberate our land and our people!
This post from awate.com said it all. Thanks for the post (Saay 7). AND TIGRGANA IS SO RICH AND DISCRIBTIVE.
“Meanwhile, as the exodus of Eritreans reaches biblical proportions, Eri-TV had a lengthy coverage of how the PFDJ hierarchy hosted a 20th anniversary commemoration event for the Rwandan genocide at Asmara Palace. Candles were lit, speeches were given, trees were planted. Enda Isaias make surrealism real. All I could think of was the lyrics from an old Bereket Mengesteab song:
ንሰይቲ ኣቦይ ሰይቲ ኣቦኣ ሞይታ፥
My step mother’s step mother died:
ቐብሪ ኸይደ ቐብሪ መሰነይታ፥
Went to the funeral as an escort:
ኣብቲ ኸብደይ ዘይብሉ ሓጠቅታ:
[Feeling] no sorrow in my gut,
ኣብቲ ዓይነይ ዘይብሉ ጸረርታ::
nor tears welling in my eyes. ”

WE ERITREANS WILL BRING BACK OUR APLOMBNESS, VICTORY TO THE PEOPLE.
1. During Mengistu era, if you are jailed – then your family know where you are, they can visit you, hand you food and stuff. you can be brought to a court of law, and you can legally fight for your innocence.
During DIA era, if you are thrown to jail. then you are likely to rot there without you family knowing you are in jail to begin with. forget about the law, there is no law.
2. During Mengistu era, it was a war era. during war time, things happen. but if you keep silent, then there is no-one coming to your doors to question you, harras you etc.
During DIA era, if you are silent then you are a suspect. You are considered to be thinking something. forget about if you ask for a little bit of your right, then you face life under 1. above
3. During Mengistu era, there was free education, free hospital service, water electricity bills were cheap, food was cheap (brought all over from ethiopia etc). and they dont want you to leave cities. because they think you might be going to the bush. and they dont want you to die from the war. so fathers mothers were advised to keep their kids at home.
During DIA era, it is the reverse. everything is unbearably expenssive. all those of us who had a relatively better life style during mengistu era , have come to a zero level. all the good houses taken by army generals, former tegadelties, and diasporas who can pay good $$$. during DIA, you are not allowed to come to cities. mothers, fathers are advised to keep their kids away in the bush. if you are found roaming in the cities, then you are a suspect, a dessereter etc..you are now allowed to stay at home.
4. During Mengistu’s era, you can always go out of country. during DIA, you are not allowed. unless you are seriously sick, or above 55 years.
5. During Mensgitu era, you are not less treated for being an Eritrean than the rest of ethiopians. Mengistu was good to all, and bad to all. DIA is an extreme personality. if he hates you, he hates your entire family, and the place you came from, and the people who live there. however, DIA is very systematic in punishing people collectively.
remember Both are of Ethiopian origin. then Mengistu is much much better than DIA, by comparision.

Please don’t say houses are taken by “Diasporas” Those diaspora who own houses are DIA’s supporters. Especially those who bought houses and lands in the past 14 years are defenders of DIA. There are many Diaspora Eritreans who can afford to buy a house in Eritrea, but refused to do so. Because they denounce and discredit DIA’s action in our country.

Mengistu was much much better than DIA.why?
1. During Mengistu era, if you are jailed – then your family know where you are, they can visit you, hand you food and stuff. you can be brought to a court of law, and you can legally fight for your innocence.
