    @debesay ,please correct your way of narration, how could you say like this for the icon people ,you have no moral or legitimacy to conclude to all the people the weakness what you might observe on some of us but if you are the true Eritrean you can suggest the right way what you perceive unless its not good to smear all as same. .off course our people is in dilemma inside and outside ,current ,geopolitical and economical situation worsen the situation in outside, life is becoming hard to live inside,but it is more worsen when you flee your country cus thousds lost their life in here and there. the opposition people agrees not to agree,the pro Ethiopian puppets searching to dump down the situation to their side,the poepe is silent cus not to decide for something that might disissed by other

      For many in the opposition of the Jebha mold, the crisis in Shaebia is all they needed to make a full time job out of rehabilitating Jebha and some of its dubious heroes. But this sounds more hypocritical than the Highdefites’ task of defending Shaebia because, while the Jebha defenders do want us to remember all the atrocities committed by Shaebia, they do not want us to remember even a single event that seems to mar the image of Jebha. All this despite the fact that this organization, throughout its history, has inhabited the worst of two worlds: although it emulated Shaebia in almost all its failings, it lacked the focus the latter displayed in fighting the enemy.

      But if there is anything that defines Jebha aptly, it is its sectarianism. This is an organization that was born out of sectarian motives, with ethnic and religious overtones; lived throughout its existence in sectarian squabbles (religious, regional, ethnic, linguistic and ideological); and understandably died as a result of its sectarian malaise. Its only half-hearted effort to reform itself in the 70’s soon floundered because it was never able to distance itself from its sectarian past, all along having been unwilling to let go the sectarian leaders of its past. No wonder that in its ashes, the Jebha factions that have survived it have now neatly aligned themselves along the very fault lines that doomed it to self-destruction. Only now, having come out of their respective closet, they openly wear their religious and ethnic hats all the way to their EDA meetings.

      The contradictions that Jebha supporters display could be seen everywhere: They have been diligently digging up all the skeletons they can find in Shaebia’s past (as it should be). But if you point to similar cases in Jebha – Falul, Suriyet Addis, Menfere, Rasai, and all other pre- and post-Adboha massacres. – they throw tantrums. They love to criticize Isaias for every blunder that he makes and for every crime that he commits (again, as it should be). But not only do they not want to hear any negative attribution about their leaders, however inept, undemocratic, sectarian or murderous they were, they also are in the active business of giving them a post-mortem “make over.” They never tire of reminding us of the marginalization of Kunamas under Shaebia (again, as it should be). But if you tell them that in this marginalization, which has a long history behind it, Jebha played a major role, with many of their villages burned down to the ground, many Kunamas killed and their cattle pillaged, they go nuts in anger. Day and night, they never tire of pointing out the inhumane treatment of prisoners under the hands of Shaebia/PFDJ (again, as it should be). But it is in one of the most shameful history of ghedli in Eritrea that Jebha summarily executed its Ethiopian prisoners at a time of its retreat in the late seventies. In this regard, even Shaebia didn’t match this atrocity. I could go on and on: the horrors of giffa (which actually started with Jebha), sexual abuse of women (especially by corrupt cadres and military leaders), endemic corruption of the leadership, etc – all areas that Jebha had excelled well before Shaebia came to be fully identified with them.

    ሓያለይ ናይ ታሪኽ ምድንጋር ከምዝፍተን እፈልጥ’ኳ እንተኾንኩ፡ ደቅናን መንእሰያትናን ከምዘይሰንፍሉ ስለዝተኣማመን ንከምዚ ዝኣመ ሰለ ደቀቕቲ መኻልፍ ቃል ንቃል ክምልሰሉ ልምደይን ባህገይን ብዘይምዃኑ ኣይምደለኽዎን። ካብተደልየ ግና ሕጂ’ውን ምድንጋር ከይ ፍጠር ምእንቲ ኣቶ ሙሴ ሓድጉ፡-
    1፡ ኣብ ርእሲ ልቦናኻስ ንውዕል ናይ 1884 ምጥቃሰይ ነቲ ዋዕላ ምቅሊ ዝጸደቐሉ እዋን ንምዝካር’ምበር ምሽማው ዝተጀመረሉ ቅድሚ ኡ ከምዘይነበረስ ንስ’ዃ ትብሎ ኣለኻ። እንግሊዝ ብግብጺ ኣቢላ ንሱዳን ከምዘምርሐት ስለዝፈልጥ ዓላማኡ እንታይ ከምዝነበረ ካብቲ መንፈስ ናይቲ ዋዕላ ናይ 1884 ክትርድኦ ትኽእሉ። ብዝተረፈ ቴዎድሮ ኣብዘይነበሩሉ ‘ነይሮም’ ከምዝበልኩ ይመስለካ እንተኾይኑ ካ ብኡ ንላዕሊ ፖለቲካዊ ድኽነት ስለዘየለ ከተምስሎ ኣይትድለዮ። እንተደሊኻዮ ግና ብጨረታ ዝረትዓካ ሰብ የለን።
    2፡ ሃጼ ቴዎድሮስ ዝተቐትሉሉ ምኽንያት ገሊጽካ። እዚ ማለት ካብቲ “ካባ ታሪኽ” ጥራሕ ተመሊስካ ማለት ኢዩ። ማለተይ ግዳማዊ’ም በር ውሽጣዊ ትሕዝቶ ኣይገንጸልካዮን። ተረዲእካ እንከሎ እንተኾይኑ ዝሃብካኒ መብርሂ ኣነ’ውን ከብርህ ሓዘኒ፡-
    እቶም ፈረንጂ ትብሎም ዘለኻ እንታዎት ኢዮም እንታይ ደልዮምከ መቕደላ መጺኦምን ካልእ ወዘተኡን ኣብ ክንዲ ምሳና ትታረኸሉ ታሪኽ ሃገርካ ጠንቂቕካ ሕተተሉ። ብዝተረፈ ንሳቶም ብጠለብ ሃጼ ቴዎድሮስ ኣጽዋር ክሰርሑን ካልእ ምኽሪ ክልግሱን ኢሎም ኢዮም ተላኢኾም። ሃጼ ቴዎድሮስ ካልእ እናተጸበዩ እቲ ሽዑ ዝተሰርሐ መጉዲ ሞጎጎ ዝመስል መድፍዕ (እንተደሊኻ ንታሪኽ ኣብ ሃገርካ ተሰቒሉ ስለዘሎ ደሊኻ ርኣዮ) ግና ብተንኮል ከምዝተሰንዐ ስለዝተርጎሙዎ ከምዝኣሰርዎም ተባሂሉ ስለዝትረኽ ንስኻ ክሳብ ኣብዚኣ ጥራይ ፈሊጥካ ትኸውን። ሕጂ’ውን እዚ እቲ ካባ ጥራይ ኢዩ። እቲ ውሽጡ ግና ካልእ ንስለያዊ ነገራት ዝምልከት ከምዝነበሮ ከተረጋግጽ ንወለድኻ ሕተቶም። እንተዘይነገሩኻ ግዲ የለን ከምቲ ካልእ ዝተጠማዘዘ ታሪኽ ክትሰምዕ እንተዘይደሊኻ ባዕልኻ ከተረጋግጾ ትኽእል ኢኻ። እንተኾነስ ሽዑ’ውን ሓቅና ንዛረብ ከምዘለና እንተዘይኣመንካ እንዳዳኛ ዝወስደካ የለን። እንተ ንግስቲ ቪክቶሪያ ሰበን ከፍትሓ ብዝብል ሰበብ ኢየን ሰራዊተን ሰዲደን ንሃጼ ቴዎድሮስ ዝተሳህልኦምን ንንኡስ ወራሲ ንግስነት ወዲ ሃጼ ቴዎድሮስ ማሪኸን ንሎንዶን ዝወሰድኦን።

    3፡ “ንግስነት ሚነሊክ ኣብ ፈረንሳ ተማዕቂባ ነበረት” ዝብል ምጒት ንናይ ባዕልኻ ዉሽጣዊ ድሌትን ስምዒትን ከተዕግብ ኣቕሪብካዮ ክትከዉን ትኽእል እምበር፡ ……” ሃጼ መነሊክ ምስ ፈረንሳ ርክብ ኣይነበሮምን” ማለትካ እንተኾይኑ ኣይንሽገረሉ። ከመይሲ ኣብ ውግእ ዓድዋ ዝተኾሰ መዳፍዕ ኢቲዮጲያ ገሊኦም ናይ ሩስያ ክብሉ እንከለዉ መብዛሕቶም ግና ናይ ፈረንሳ ከምዝነበረ ይትርኹ። ንሱ ይትረፈና ንስኻ ግና ጽንሕ ኢሉ ታሪኽ ባዕሉ ክሰትኮካ እንድዩ “ሳላ ፈረንሳ ካብ ጅቡቲ ዝነቐለ ባቡር ኣእቲና፡ ካብ ሙሉእ ኣፍሪቃ ቀዲምና ተሌፎን ኣእቲና፡ ወዘተ ክትብል ኢኻ። ኣነድማ እንኮላይ እታ ሃጼ መነሊክ ኮፍ ዝብሉላ ዝነበሩ መንበር ካብፈረንሳ ዝመጸት መቅተሊት ሰብ ምንባራ ክውስኸልካ ኢየ።
    4፡ ብዛዕባ ውዕል ውጫለ ዝሓዘኩም ሕማም ሒዙ ዝምሕር ኣይኮነን። እምበር ኣብ 1889 ዝተገብረ ውዕልን ድሓር ድሕሪኡ “ተመሓ ይሹ” ተባሂሉ ዝቐረበ ውዕልን መዓስ ጠፊእካ። እንተዘይፈሊጥካዮ እንካ። ብመሰረት ቀዳማይ ውዕል ዶብ ካብ ኣለውሃ ምላሽ ወይ (መሻለኩያ) ተባሂሉ ዝጽዋዕ ከባቢ ወልድያ ከምዝነበረ እዝክር። ኣብ ካልኣይ ውዕል መሓልፎ ዓወት ዓድዋ ጨቢጦም ክንሶም ካብ መረብ ምላሽ ተባሂሉ ከምተመሓየሸ ፈትሾ። ብዛዕባ ኣብ ዓንቀጽ 4 ዘሎ ናይ ደብረ-ቢዘን ጥልያን ኣፉ ክሳብ ዝቕደድ እናሰሓቐ ኢዩ ተቐቢልዋ። ግደፍ ኣብ ውሽጢ ኤርትራ ዘል ደብረ-ቢዘን ብኢቲዮጲያኣስ ናበይዶ ኣቢላ ኢያ? ዓንቀጽ 17 ዝኾነ ዘዐንቅፍ የብሉ ዘሐንኩል ክሳብ ሎምን ንኩሉ ግዜን ከዛርብ ክስማዕ የሕዝን ኢዩ። ኣብ ጎቦ ቁልቢ ዘለዉ ምኪኤለ-ገብርኤል ክምሕርኹም ጸበሎም ስተዩን ተሓጸቡን!! ግን “ኣባ፡ ዛሬም ካልጋ ወደቅኩ” እናበልካ ብምቕሻሽ ምሕት ኣይርከብን።
    ምወዳእታ ክብለካ ዝደሊ ኣነ ከምሰበይ ንንዓይ ዝመስሉ ሓቀኛታት ዜጋታትና ኢየ ዝዛረብ ዘለኹ። መማህራነይ ድማ ታሪኽ ኢዮም ምሂሮሙኒ’ምበር ኩሉ ነገር ከምዘለዎ ብማንካ ኣየኾለሱንን። ኣነ’ውን እዞም ደቀይ መስሓትያን ከየደናግርዎም መገዲ ጥራይ ኢየ ዝሕብሮም እምበር እርይ ቁጽር ኣቢለ ከኾልሶም ግቡእ ኣይኮነን። ንስኻ’ውን ንሓዋሩ ከይስበለካ ሕሰበሉ።
