Dear Truly I accept Wuchu did not have great academic knowledge but he was not foolish. I also wish his soul to rest in the hands of the Almighty. However, his history must be told and told correctly. He has to take responsibility for all his deeds – not just his achievements. We cannot condone criminal acts because the the person is dead. We need to distinguish between the person and the person’s deeds. Wuchu is one of ours, he is our brother, we give him his due respect in death. But we have to learn from his mistakes. If you add all his deeds and misdeeds I am sure he will rank at the bottom of heroes and top of the disgraceful compatriots of ours. I am sure history will judge him garishly.
Wuchu was part of the killing machine of the pfdj, he did not have good manners in public, especially when he is under the influence of alcohol which he most of the me was, he was an embarrassment to all of us (as a military leader and citizen), he was the right hand of the satanic man, DIA, he was narrow minded regionalist – not a national hero! If he was a good commander, did he care to preserve his fighters or did he dispense them like perishable goods? Did he protect them or did he execute them? Did he ever work for the unity of the Eritrean people? Are you not aghasted by his ugly regionalism and anti-intellectualism? Dead or alive, pfdj’s ideology must be eradicated, and their criminal acts exposed. Wuchu was a committed member of the evil criminal gang – equal to another cruel individuals such as Philipos, Andella Nuhusein, Abdella Jaber, Abraha Kassa, etc.
