My heart goes to the victims and their loved ones. This devilish work of the Islamists has been going on targeting many innocent non-Muslims, including children and women, in the region who have nothing to do with the Jihadist wars raging like a wild fire within the Muslim lands.
Some opportunists and few nave idiots are trying to convince us that “only very few people” are involved. If these were few people, how come entire Muslim nations with ample resources are paralyzed to face the so called “few deviants” in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Lebanon, Egypt, Libya, Sudan, Algeria, Mali, Nigeria and Somalia … ?
I asked my muslim-Shia co-worker if this Islamist terrorism is the work of few people? He told me: You need to hear the poison being spewed everuday by the Jihadist sermons in many mosques of the Arab world. It is utter hate against anyone be it a hindu, shia, communist, christian, Zaidi, Jewish, Atheist … but them.
This proves the fact that there is no Muslim nation on this planet now that is at peace with itself or with the outside world. Consequently, this is going to get worse and the Arab world have only themselves to blame. The Islamic world from Indonesia to Morocco is riddled with terrorist acts of bombing and suicide killings, as well as, Islamic Sharia sanctioned: lashing, hanging, firing squad, stoning, beheading, amputating limbs …
These do not include the human trafficking, slave trade, organ harvesting, sex slave, slavery, rape, torture by hot iron and melting plastic, kidnapping for ransom … that many Eritreans and other Africans had endured in the last ten years that starts at the Eritrean-Sudanese border in the evil hands of the Arab Rashayda-Bedouin gangs, Egyptian-Libya-Sudanese security forces and Arab doctors.

A barbaric group calling itself ISIS is killing innocent Christians from Horn. As a Muslim I say not in my name. I condemn this criminal act in strongest terms and call upon peace loving people regardless of their faith, to do everything possible to fight ISIS, till they disappear from the face of earth.
By the way, there are people in Lybia who say that ISIS chapter there is organized by former intelligence officers of Gaddafi era, who want press European countries to intervene militarily in the country.
That said, the comments on Assenna forum by some extremists, who pose as Eritrean Christians, and condemn Islam as religion and seem to be ready to declare war on Eritrean Muslims every time something happens in Middle East, shows the true color of a few Ethiopianists who are trying their best to ignite religious war in Eritrea at any cost, thinking this will reverse Eritrean independence. To such people I say, you are wasting your time. Your efforts will not succeed.
Eritrea is there to remain forever and independent and sovereign State. Beside, anti-Islamic propaganda you funnel here, will affect also the very country you think you are serving, because Ethiopia is not a Christian nation anymore, you are living in the past, unable to see the current reality because you are blinded by hatred.

Very sad, my heart bleeds with sadness. First and foremost I will offer my condolences and my deepest sympathy to the families of victims. I have no word how sicking I am by these heinous act of barbarism by the name of faith or religion. Those cowards criminals don’t represent the majority of Islam but it is high time to the true Islam to stand up on forefront and sort this problem with other faith followers. There is no time to wost and simply saying they don’t represent Islam is not good enough. Islam should take the ownership and lead from the front to eradicate this censorious diseases of fundamentalism. Islamic State should be smashed to ground, never to rise again.
As for those brothers let their souls rest in peace. I doesn’t matter whether they are Ethiopians or Eritreans. It doesn’t make the sadness or my pain any less. God have mercy.
