Nice song. Is the singer same who reads news for assenna?

The song should not be played in the form of guayla – because according to me guayla is played to express happiness – Please all singers try to change your style avoid guayla when expressing sorrow and others

Expressing once emotions is personal. You can write, cry, sing, guala whatever. Don’t try to dictate how people express their feelings or experiences. Leave that to PFDJ

Respect traditional songs whatever form society try to communicate they
understand each other . When we were young high school students in Asmera we used to sing by clapping our hands like Guayla saying in
        support of our teghadelti ;
ANTA ASHA ANTA EEDE AYNI BERBERE
EREY SI KHEYDA IYA NAB ZIAMERE
At that time for Ethiopian soldiers might seem GUAYLA song but we
        know the message .

I agree with you. If the song is supposed to express sorrow and misery, it shouldn’t be in a Guala’s format. No disrespect to the artist. ኣይርደኣናን ኮይኑምበር ‘ኳ: ህዝቢ ኤርትራ ተሓዋዊሱና ዩ ዘሎ።

I agree with you. There are many other musical styles in Eritrea to express sadness and grief, the guaila format is not one of them

    Excellent song and performance.
It was wrong to include his burned. The flag belongs and represents the tyrant Isayas and his blind followers HIGDEF. You should dismantle everything that was imposed by the mad dog Isayas including his burned flag.
We hope on May 25th we all stand together with our liberation flag, Semayawit Banderana, that stands for freedom, liberty, equality and justice for all. All the freedom loving people should only raise one flag, our liberation flag, we should all unite under one banner, under one flag to dismantle our number one enemy, the tyrant Isayas and his blind followers HIGDEF.

I can say this is the Song of the Century! It has such a deep meaning, not just to us Eritreans, but also to anyone who is struggling from oppression around the world. Enough is enough, indeed! We need to rise up and rebuild our country. Our Muslim and Christian brothers and sisters need to join together and demonstrate in the capital city, Asmara.

    May God bless Eritrea!

Dear Eritreans living inside and outside Eritrea

Please Boycott all independence day events. Do not go to their stupid parties and guylas. If you have to go, go to demonstrate and condemn the atrocities committed by the oppressive regime.

We will celebrate and dance when Eritreans can live with freedom and justice in their country. Its not time for meaningless guaylas and dancing.

Stand in solidarity with our oppressed youth.

Stand in solidarity with prisoners of conscience that are languishing in dungeons and containers.

Stand in solidarity with Eritrean mothers and fathers living and dying in immense grief due to their children being slaughtered inside and outside Eritrea due to causes directly related to the oppressive regime.

And above all stand in solidarity with our martyrs and disabled veterans whose immense sacrifices is being betrayed.
