The Eritrean refugees and those refugees from other African nations in Israel do have the right to seek and to enjoy protection in Israel as well… Israel must respect rights of refugees, and must stop its harsh treatment towards the refugees.
I wish the planned demonstration in Washington DC a success…….. and i wish we do the same in front of the Israel embassies in European countries.
Solomon well said, Yes the conventions in line with human dignity and protection from prosecution should be respected and Geneva convention of 1951( in which ratified and signed also by the Jewish themselves)is applicable for our brothers and sisters in the Jews State. If it was applicable for the Jews them selves when they were in chaos from late 1940s and to 1950s why not for African asylum seekers. The 1951 Convention relating to the Status of Refugees is the key legal document in defining who is a refugee, their rights and the legal obligations of states( and the so called Jews state if t is a real state it should exercise this convention to these helpless refugees)Being a refugee s not a problem for a jewish social fabric.
The western media tried to hide the suffering of Eritreans in Israel. It is about time to expose it to the world by holding demonstrations in Israel embassies all across the world.
why the fuss in a foreign country ? whether they are political refugees or economic, PROBLEM begins and is at home in eritrea. don’t bother Israel, if you need change then DEMONSTRATE and fight against the brutal dictatorishp in eritrea.
Lets face it bros. let istael deport them and these tough ” refugees” might learn something from wedi Ali. Deport them! they are economic refugees not political asylum seekers. assenna.c om, has been deleting my comments and i want everyone to witness that. free speech or freedom of expression??? assenna?
We have a generation of losers to face the truth. Just they know lets go /Nkid Tray/ as their stupid dictator says. They don’t know where and why they are running away from their home land under the dark nights by chance if they being found when they are crossing the border to be shot and left dead by the cruel system of Isayas. But if they get lucky after the many bad fortunes in their way out. Like getting to Israel the land of honey and milk. It is so shame act of traitors to see them to go to the Eritrean Embassy to kiss the hand of the dictator. That is regardless of their excuses. Then if they aren’t a political refugee Why Israel has to accept them. Then let them go back home to serve the dictator to help the most faster growing economy in Eritrea. May be most of them they made a few backs, and may be they can enjoy for few days with Wedi Afewerki in the bars in Asmara. Again they will run away as usual back to Israel or any where else. If they are lucky enough, and missed by the border guard of the dictators’ bullet and may be they will learn then. But I hope by the very brave men and women among them whom they said no for the dictator and many others around the world and in side our country that Eritrea will be free ones for all.
People like you with a lack of focus and common sense are the main reason we Eritreans can’t get anything accomplished. Try to stick to the topic. Here we are discussing the plights of Eritreans in Israel but you are talking about the cruelty of Eritrean government in Eritrea. How is your bickering serve this plan unless your motive is to disrupt it altogether?
Learn to stick to the topic. Those in Israel who continue to support the PFDJ are not doing it out of love but fear. You can use a different venue to insult supporters of PFDJ gangs but this venue should be used to challenge the abuse of our citizens in Israel by Israel government.
This is my worst nightmare that I have to protest in front the Zionist Jews, I cannot believe this
tell some punkass jewish , to give tham justice and protect my family, I can’t believe it I can’t not just believe this, wake up Eritrean.united against dictator.
