The interview of Assenna with Yemane is unprecedented in the annals of Eritrean history. It opened new windows, painful as they are, into the past significant events, personalities and acts that explain why Eritrea is in the current state of regression. It also points to the mistakes to avoid in post-PFDJ Eritrea.
I’m personally grateful to Assenna and to the valiant ayay, tegadalay Yemane. You’ve made history by shedding light to the difficult part of our history.
Yemane interview is to be commended. Awareness is part of the solution and collective awareness may bear fruit. Yemane’s interview made me see the nature of Esaya’s and his cronies and scrap off any doubt I had.
Although, I understand Yemane reluctance to participate with other parties in disposition of the HIGDEF hegemony, I implore him to continue contributing towards the salvation of Eritrea. Much is at stake to stand on the side.

These religious zealots, long before they decided to throw themselves into a state of beggary, ought to have kept in their finger tips the underlying cause that necessitated our armed struggle: the Ethiopian ruler’s flagrant violation of the terms of the Eritrean-Ethiopian Federation and the subsequent illegal annexation of our country to Ethiopia.
What about now, can’t they wake up in the wake of the revelation of the con artist isaias afeweerqi’s real identity and motive as evidenced by his systematic annulment of the Sovereignty of Eritrea and his rampant and relentless assault on the social fabric of our people?
And for heaven’s sake , it was Abdela Edris and co. as constituents of Qiada Al Ama leadership whom the con artist isaias duped into granting him the coveted and prestigious scholarship to the Communist China. And no sooner did he return from China than he sneered at their folly by branding them as religious fanatics and murderers, not that he lamented at the loss of the young Christian highlanders he bamboozled them( Qiada Al Ama) to kill but to steal the hearts of the naïve Christian highlanders by pretending to be their body.
Although, Abdela Edris and co. never divulged the disinformation they received from the impostor isaias afeweerqi that led them into frenzy of murdering innocent University students, as soon as he dissociated from them, they dubbed him Ethiopian and CIA agent. This characterization was long before wedi Georgio, Tesfankiel, confirmed the fact that the con artist isaias afeweerqi did indeed meet with CIA agent and Asratekasa, the then governer of Eritrea, in Asmera.
To keep his identity and motive hidden, killing those whom he thinks know his secrets is among the many of modus operandi of con artist isaias afeweerqi. That was why, in the aftermath of the disintegration of ELF, he was hunting and killing the ex-ELF leaders, such as Wed Hassab, Hamid Mahumd, Tumsah, welde Dawit etc. in Kesela, the Sudan. He also killed Tesfankiel Wedi Georgio in addis abeba.
However, the fact that a Truth cannot be buried for ever is demonstrated in the candid testimony of Yemane, who was a close aide of the impostor in Mogadisho, Somlaia. Yemane testified to the fact that the con artist was travelling aboard an Ethiopian airlines which was accompanied by armed security men and that he was dancing and drinking with Ethiopian men and women in Mogadisho, Somalia, by sneaking alone.
It is our hope that more eye-opening testimonies will come from Ali Abdu and others in the near future. There is no point for them to hide the evil deeds of the impostor unless they are his underground agents. The longer they refuse to divulge what they know, the more likely that they are still his accomplices, running the risk of being held as enemy collaborators in the hour of our suucess.

It broke my heart, and I am sure of many other Eritreans, to hear that you will not be contributing actively to the movements for democracy. As you said we are lacking prominent leaders, who can unite the fight against the monster. DIA has accomplished his first mission (grabbing power) long time ago.
