Remember when Ghedli were liberating the cities and Weyane claimed Badme behind their back . Then when Ethiopia
reclaimed again to make them retreat , then ELF again waged a war against WEYANE to kick them out from our land .
After they get rid of those betrayers who ELF did a lot of favor , EPLF started their campaign against ELF by
saying ” AMMA ASFAFAHIT ” . I was young to understand the whole truth back then to feel suspicious at everything .

I AM WONDERING this man named “Haile” how he perceives and interprets things from the past and now.each time I read his comments theyare very confusing for me sorry to that – his stance is nor clear who he disagree and who he agree.
Every journey of evolution has junkies and evils greedy people at the same time good people that paid price for real result. how come it was wrong according to haile to mention the evils(these dragged the evolution back and the good ( these paid price and raised it up to the next stage).
I do not see wrong from yemane.

Darkness fell and those generators were turned on. The stage was set to receive the big mouths. To our surprise, an afro well built familar face showed up to the stage with his krar and we were stunned. The people roared. My cousin whispered. Hey that is Bereket Mengesteab. I hushed my cousin not to speak Amharic. Even as kids we were not sure if we were safe amonst “our people”. we were surprised to see Bereket in person as we only knew his voices. Then came the songs. He sang this. That is how people like Bereket Menegesteab played a key role to build the Eritrea the now is. In exaceberating & pouring oil to the dangerous firs of civil war that consumed our ordinary tegadelti.
He sang this:

The irony is – Bereket Mengeisteab is a true reflections of the majority of Eritreans. It is a statement that is valid. Reality on the ground speaks for itself!
He blasted EPLF then with this songs ዋህዮ ንዮ በላ ዋህዮ ንዮ በላ back in the days… and he has been a bed-fellow since when ?? as for EPLF as a front, as a criminal organization, how many times it used, re-used Eritreans (individuals – remember our ordinary frontline tegedelti were individuals with dreams of life, with dreams to live & die a natural death) and if it is really time it puts them to rest before the maker calls them, it has. Remember all these (to mention just few) that EPLF/PFDJ used, re-used & ultimately, inevitabley put them to rest (And why do I have a feeling all these “Isaias decide it all” knew the mode-of-Operandi becasue they executed it):
a) the Adetat of maids all over the world that gave it all
b) Our sisters tegadelti who were later, post-Ind, betrayed by their male tegadelti husbands in going for the city girls.
c) how about singers, dancers: use one when popular then discard when their popularity dies out. Now who played the biggest role in this game of use & throw? As before, All Eritreans who were after fame, name, wealtht both inside & outside Eritrea. If Eritreans HAD any sense of rule-of-law from the get-go, they would have asked it at dawn not at Dusk as they now do.

Yemane,thank for telling the hidden truth to your people. There were and are unspeakable myriads of atrocities /crimes commmitted by the dictator and cronies. We need to know the dark part of our history and documented as is so that generation learn from the sad events.
Exposing the criminals is also very important contribution to the current struggle against the reclusive regime.

On the issue of Jebha and its crimes, we are not that far. My short coming may have been to distinguish between its leaders, cadres and the poor tegadeltis who were used as pawns. On the other hand, your focus was on the area that you grew up, please use that to extrapolate the crimes Jebha had committed in other regions of Eritrea, plus the ones I mentioned.
