He missed the opportunity to clarify his past interview at the hands of YPFDJ when he came to Sweden few years ago. Let us have a clear picture about this guy. He cannot serve both sides of the political establishment. If you do not want to be used like a ‘ball’, you would have left Pfdj long time ago. It took you such a long time to realise that you have been used like a ‘ball’. You need to work very hard to regain the trust of those generation of your age. They are not looking anything from you except a huge ‘Apology’ at the start of your interview. Escaping from pfdj cannot give you a licence to be free of crimes against your individual actions. Believe or not you wont’ be left alone because you never left the generation alone for over a decade. Your actions are going haunt you for the rest of your life. I really feel sorry, but that’s the reality if you allow your humanity to be used by a junta for long period of time. You are catching up the reality….It is not going be very hard from the side of your background…

well ,wedi tekabo interview was so interesting and I didn’t imagine he will be speaking interesting as most interview I heard was either it is personnel or it was non sense to .what he said is general issues of the people of eritrea, for instance if EPLF are asked why the came to victory they are able to unit the whole people of eritrea.it worked for a while

  • Daniel October 28, 2013

@sherer, I think you misunderstood to what Wedi Tikabo had to say. He did call for all Eritreans to get united and have a respect to each other. That includes to stop calling names. However you still are calling names, which is contradictory to your support to Wedi Tikabo’s advise.

Wedi Tiabo, wel done. I support your message. As you said, I believe the first thing we have to fix is our unity and respect to each other. We all know the cause of the problem which is facing to our beloved country. If we agree on that and we are willing to find an honest solution to save our country, how come we care about where someone is from in Eritrea and/or to what religion someone belongs to. We may have a different idea regardless of our regional and religious background; we have to respect someones idea and come in to a resolution through discussions and debates, instead of rejecting different views and opinions by the pretext of the background of the person who has different view than we do.

I have one advice though to Wedi Tikabo. People have been writing and talking something inappropriate through the internet. It is going to happen in the future as our level of understanding and our level of expressing ourselves differ from one another. Do not get surprised. We all have to work to educate each other, which is part of your future commitment according to your interview.

Good luck with your immigration process.

      • Zemen October 28, 2013

Wow, talk about being classy. This is the problem with Eritreans. We have no respect or tolerance for others but want to preach democracy. We aren’t ready as highlighted by the idiotic comment of resorting to violence displayed by the likes of Kokob.

        • kokob October 28, 2013

Let me tell you something zemen, its not about being classy or not. I just don’t have respect and tolerance for people who dont have respect for others and run there mouth with out thinking before they speak like daina or whtever her name was. so next time you wanna comment on something stop being hatefull.

I heard the interview. Weditkabo like any Eritrean choose to live in America — no politics! He said he is not PFDJ , he is not opposition either ! Please respect him for who he is and leave him alone! Let him get his asylum paper in order, get settled
And there will be plenty of time for talking—but now leave the hell alone – both opposition and the PFDJ .

i think he said ”enough a’m not a ball anymore” good for him .Was he answering questions directly ? basically NO. He could not even answer the basic reason why he left the regime. Instead he repeated unity,,,unity over and over again without addressing the root cause of our problems and the pain of our people. He is a musician not a politician so, i don’t expect him to answer like a cadre but still c’monn….
