All those who opposed Iseyas’ hegemonic ways during Ghedli died crying for justice. Their families did not get even a paper that they were fighting for freedom of their people. Iseyas then turned against his friends and members of leadership who stood by him during all those terrible years. I am very sorry for Petros and others to end up that way, but they knew well about Iseyas. They did not even think what happened to innocent “Menka”, “Yemin” and thousands of others could happen to them too.
Not only Issayas but Eritreans in general betrayed those who sacrificed
their young age to bring us independent nation .
They called names such as enemy conspirators (KAHADTI) to watch them die
in a dark place silently . It is sad how EPLF fighters acted like cowards
to give up on the principle they fought for . They should take the lead
as pioneers for political reform . I am sure they could win popularity
at certain stage of their resistances. Sad to say , time run out with passing years age . Eritrea hope depends on its young generation to take aim at dubious nature of corrupted politicians who ruined humans
life .
The damage done is heavy to comprehend but the question lies on how to
seek solution . So far there is none at hand except theories , meetings
and demonstrations outside the country which has an affect but that doesn’t shake the regime foundation from outside world .
Unfortunately vision without action will stay our day-night dream .
