Voice of Assenna: Report on the Successful Eritrean Justice Seekers Geneva Demonstration in Support of the UN COI Report on Eritrea’s Human Rights Violations – Part 1
DIA looks just about ready to go where he belongs, that is, to his HELL.
Why did his sheyitan/devil invite him to our Earth and to our Eritrea in the first place?
The important thing in all of this is that the world, particularly the “Western” world, has finally
come to see Eritrea as a poor (abused wife), proud but above all a very stubborn little African country.
I refer to Hidiat Okbay commentary above – only a few lines but studded with a gem of insight.
1.“DIA looks just about ready to go where he belongs, that is, to HELL.” > HO
How true! DIA has done ALL what he set out to do. It is diabolically extraordinary achievement by one man in the history of Eritrea. After that, as the Trigrigna saying goes: “ሕጂ እንተሞትኩ፥ ኣይግድሰንን <<HO
What an elegant construction of an idea! Both sides of imaginary fraternal debate could go ‘home’ being satisfied. And yet, a nagging question still remains intact i.e. has the “stubborn little African country” learned a lesson from its own history? If not, the “abused” Eritrea would seem to say in the wilderness:‘ኣንታይ’ሞ ክገብር፥ ፍጥረተይ ኮይኑ!” reflecting a classical case of TRAGEDY. Can this phenomenon be reversed?

Can the NEW generation of young Eritreans, marching along with disciplined dignity that we saw on the Avenues of Geneva, Switzerland, remove the age old shackle under varied colonial forces during the last one hundred and fifty years? Logically speaking, it is possible. We have seen the enthusiasm of young women and men at the Geneva gathering to reverse the course of history with their vision for a NEW Eritrea. I hasten to mention here, with admiration, Amanuel Iyasu’s seemingly endless energy to provide the necessary platform for the Young Eritreans — Men and Women — to express their views about their Eritrea. Thank you Sir. In passing, let me mention that in my commentary of 27 June 2015[1] I suggested [for all it is worth] a new role for Assenna Foundation. I hope it is seriously considered.
I wish the enthusiasm and energy of the Young Eritreans would extend to the far West of the Globe where ten thousand young Eritreans may be marching along the Avenues of New York City, USA, to the United Nation Organization to deliver their views and aspiration for a NEW Eritrea. It is my heartfelt wish that the Young Representative who would be chosen to deliver that message to the highest body of the UN, the Security Council, on behalf of ALL Eritreans would be a FEMALE ERITREAN. It will then be a clear and strong beacon that a NEW ERITREA has emerged for the whole world to see. THAT WOULD BE THE DAY.

I sincerely thanks those who participated on 26/6/2015 demonstration. You represented the voice majority Eritreans.
No rule of law in Eritrea. No freedom of expression in Eritrea, notional service is for indefinite period in Eritrea, prisoners have no access to family visit, prison locations are unknown in Eritrea, the drafted constitution have not implemented in Eritrea, no democracy in Eritrea, no uccountblity in Eritrea, Eritrea has not had election for the post 24 years, Eritrea is only for supporters of the current region.
If the regime in Eritrea and supporters believe the above listed are wrong, prove it the berdon is on you
the fact will privale it s a matter of time
I am proud of my brothers and sisters who came out without fear of any kind. That is the Eritrean character that I know.
God bless our people and country.
