I listened to the interview you conducted with Eritreans for facilitating National Dialog with great interest. If I am not mistaken most of your interviewee was members of wala/Gubaa. If their objective is to unite Eritrean why the gubaa could not achieve its objective. How different gubaa are they going to hold. if they are serious, why can’t empower the already started initiatives instead of taking new initiative that has no new substance ( according to Teklay. If I ever meet them I will ask them why they don’t join wedi vacaro?

Actually the goal of “Eritreans for Facilitating National Dialogue” in its spirit is very positive and contractive everybody to agree and appreciate it. But my question, as we all know this time Dr. Tewolde Tesfamariam (Wedi Vacro) is making a successful tour for unity. So instead working together with him why is now this similar positive initiative is going parallel? is it to conquer with him is that or it is a continuation of his mission? Really i couldn´t understand? I wish Amanuel be able raised this question during the discussion. Ok! Amnuel may asked a similar question to the panelists, if i not mistaken as there is also another similar organization for national dialog mission activating like they doing do, if you add Wodi vacaro´s it is the third one. will continue

Well! the panelists may gave very satisfactory indirect answer let alone with unity supporters, even with all parties or civic societies groups as have a will to dialog , even their main goal; after find out what reasons all groups as that dividing them, to find a way how all for one common purpose unitedly to make them stand to rescue our nation it is they described. But still my question if that is their purpose why simply they do not work together with Wodi Vacaro? What is the necessity of multiplying the same mission? Doesn´t it seem as everybody is fighting for power or popularity? Really i couldn´t understand our society. This stupid mentality let alone in politic or in businessmen sector; i even seen when the church people dividing each other. Everybody is preaching about unity as if they believe in one God Jesus Christs, but everyone sees when dividing and opening its own church like a commodity. In business when someone in one place opens bar or restaurants others also doing the same beside. One media is like commodity concurring with another other media like private commodity instead of serving the people interest except Assenna i would say. This is really very disturbing.

Anyway everybody should understand the main reasons for causing disunity i believe is these points
1st, because they fighting to have power it is
2nd, because they wanted popularity i mean pride it is
3rd, as means of income they using it is
4th, as it is explained instead of the nation interest because they prioritized their group interest it is
The 5th in my view, the main reason for disunity, i believe in all opposition groups amongst inside them because there are non Eritrean citizens but most Woyane or other origin it is. in other word may are people with Ethiopian agenda i would say. Because of that if needed solution it should to be declared at any meeting, everybody with religious ethnic agenda, for instance if someone declares, as if Afar or Kunama nationals are specially discriminating or suffering differently worse than others Nationals, the person or the group automatically should to be rejected and identified as the enemy of Eritrea, or as pro Isayas or Woyane agenda has. Similarly to those people with religious agenda and those prioritizing their useless party agenda. I wish i have time and a little English talent, i have been telling you all your sin and stupidity.

Anyway, despite all my anger i know, our nation destiny most as it is not lie or decide by our might, but by mighty western nation it is. Anyway i have no intelligence nor capacity to discuss or address our issue with mighty nation; but if you know politics and everybody considers self is an intellectual, i advice in this aspect should deal how our nation could get sympathy or recognition in other word first we really have to know what the mighty nation has plan to our nation weather or not like to support our struggle, in my view until until by wicked dictator instrumentalization unless all the nation resource first finished exploited, i do not think they worry for our people suffer, 2nd i even do not think they believe in Eritrean independence from they doing what i observing is like it is written in bible, “Every first born mail donkey to be offered instad of lamb, (Exodus 13, 13) i think they may considering Eritreans like a donkey all the time they siding with Ethiopia and indirectly fulfilling the Ethiopian interest by offering Eritreans for the sake of Ethiopia. I know for many of you the spirit i talking to you as you not understand, but because this is reality, i only have hope Wodi Vacaro as chosen gods be you call it servant or son , but myself i call him son because knows what this world power doing, i believe he only is who can rescue our nation, because he so clever is and he seems able to won favor in front of mighty nation power he starts to negotiate with US UN and others officials it is. May Almighty God Jesus Christ gives Wodi Vacaro, more sincere heart, favor, wisdom, health, love to his nation and his mis-privileged forgotten poor helpless people and long life.

As being mentioned by many of commentators, increasing number of political parties doesn’t bring a solution or change.
because, we have seeing parties/groups raising every year and wasting their time, energy etc in unnecessary arguments among them selves.
Don’t understand me wrong, their participation intended to bring change, and break the dictatorship roles who is disturbing Eritrea and its people as a whole is appreciated, but narrowing the differences and working together would have being the best.
in conclusion,
i would like to suggest if the political parties/groups think once in breaking the differences and work together!

Many good points raised by the cyber “comment contributors”…. As I am following assenna closely and the guests that make it to the stage of Assenna…. This particular group gave me a moment to think and conclude the following:
1: Why wait until 2013 to understand the agony of Eritrea? But better late than never regardless…
2: Why not work with existing groups and teams that are out there already to solidify what is needed to move the process
3: Did this new group reach out to the others that may be doing the same thing – why try to reinvent the wheel again…
Side note: Where are the Protestant, Catholic and other faith based folks in this darkest time in Eritrea?…… Is the only Church in pain and the voice of Eritrean in agony the Orthodox Church? – something wrong with this picture? An interesting Observation….
The train is moving and change is definitely in the making….How much more time and lives the change will cost —“to be seen”

Allow me to clarify couple of things about this group from what I heard from their interview. They clearly stated that they are not another political party or Civic movement, so please don’t accuse them for creating another political or civic organization. The other point I want to raise is that you were asking why this group did not join hands with Wedi Vacaro. Remember and try to listen the interview again, this group were out on the open before Wedi Vacaro was on the picture. If any thing the question was supposed to be directed to Wedi Vacaro on why he did not join this group.

Let us be fair! I will explain, but first let us see the facts on the table:
a) There are over 33 opposition parties and some 50 civic groups; and
b) The EFND Group’s declared mission is to “Facilitate National Dialogue” which is admirably a mammoth undertaking.
With a) and b) on the background we should be fair to EFND and let them finish their work — to their satisfaction and capability.
If at the end of the road, they fail to reconcile the ideas and desires of the opposition and civic groups, then we can safely conclude that Eritrea has INHERENT FUNDAMENTAL problem.In that case, Eritreans of all walks of life must come to their own respective conclusions, wherever they may be! What else is there to do?
