    dear community
today i am very irritated and frustrated!
my mother was always a brave, strong and kind person. it is her who tought me to be generous, fair to erybody and to be proud of family members who fought for justice.
but now i do nor recognize her anymore!!!
she is afraid i could get involved in helping victims of th eritrean regime. i am adult but i grew up in europe and in do not know eritrea much but it is hurting me and i am shocked about the situation in eritrea.
but mother wants me to have fun all the time and to remove my eyes from the sad things that are happing to eritrean people. i know it is because she wants me to have an easy living in opposite to her life which was extremly hard. but how can she expect me to become heartless???
and what is shocking me most is that eritrea and eritrean peolple should even be more important to her than to me.
today i told her that i know she is worried but that her idea of closing the eyes while other peolples children are getting abused and killed will never ever be my idea! at the end of the day every one of us will be reponsible for the things he did or he missed to do.
i wished she would support my humanity instead of hoping to see me beeing unhuman!!! it is sadden me.

by the way she is NOT a supporter of the regime.

        dear brother Said,

thank u very much for your advices!!! you are right. my mother, maybe representing the eldry, is really tiered of the past. and you are right, i should leave her in peace with politics. but funnily she often presages my inner situation…
i think it is best like you sad to go to the park with her, to do what i am able to do and to not dicuss it with her.
on the other side, if you see it from the psychological side, isn’t it maybe also for the eldry healthier to get aktiv instead of being a passiv victim of the circumstances. because in her heart she mounring in an endless way but she is “swallowing” it instead of crying it out!!!

why i wrote about this issue is not because i want to complain about my luxurious mini mini mini problem. how could i while seeing the all the eritrean kids getting abused and killed?
but i’d love to start discussing this issue cause it might be a general problem of the community which keeps away people from getting involved with the resent eritrean problems.

        I want to say:

all you european-eritrean, even if we do not feel like beeing 100% eritrean, the land of our ancestors is burning and it will burn away soon if we do not help!!!
our parents are too tiered, they are not able to help the country. but we, whe have to do something otherwise we will be guilty for what we DID NOT do!!!
think on the 3rd word war. millions got guilty because they did NOT DO anything to ovoid mussolinis and hitlers “labor” while they knew what is happening…

I took time to listen to all three panelist – Well done and drove points right to home. Not like the other talking points I some times listen to which are normally filled with “let me amend that amendment or “tewesaki”, additional, pointing fingers at single person over and over again – that would be on Issayas only not mentioning others who are also guilty”,

These three sisters, if they keep it just like this discussion today and focus on what they said should be done – I say they deserve and are much better than hundreds out there. You should be feel proud of yourselves and I am happy for you for keeping the program owner in check as well. It was very professional and to the point. Not many hansab hansab hansab;s in the talking point…
