This guy, Meron Semedar, is an attention seeker! Worst of all, he lies non-stop. Here are some of his lies exposed:
1) He is NOT a refugee. He is an asylum seeker and there is a big difference (if his little head could work a bit harder). Not sure why he presented himself as a “refugee”.
2) He claimed that his mother applied (and was denied) a visa “3 times in the last 6 months”. Naked lie! That can never be true if you understand how non-immigrant visas work. You apply first time and if you get denied, you have to wait at least 3 months to reapply. Thus, his numbers don’t add up.
In addition, in the name of “organizing events” to benefit Eritreans he is only trying to glorify himself by introducing himself to more prominent Eritreans (much less like him!)
There are tons and tons of Eritreans with Masters (in more complicated fields than “International Studies”) and even higher degrees which are quite. However, this guy makes the loudest of all noise…
How much I (and I am sure the other graduates) hated hearing his “elillllllll”. Big mouth!
The most unresolved question is why Amanuel keeps presenting us this guy!! You are creating him a platform for his unquenchable self-glamor!!

I applaud Meron’s ambition. Too bad it is all about promoting himself.
