We become what the system want us to be. A fascist system produces an intolerant culture, and those born in it cannot have a different one.

It’s in the interest of Eritrean and its people to know the whole truth, regardless who did it and when.
The fact that crimes were committed in Ghedli, doesn’t necessarily mean Ghedli was wrong. The revolution belongs to people.
So I agree we should be proud of our Ghedli, and the liberation that was achieved with immense sacrifices for the good of common man, should be appreciated. That said, we don’t need to protect the abusers. We have to look at Ghedli experience with an open mind, and scrutinize every event that costed innocent lives. People like Yemane or T. Temnuwo, and many like them want the new generation to learn from their experience. They are doing for the sake of posterity. Let’s encourage them and learn from them.
