Can you please tell us more about who was involved ?.
It’s a well known fact that Petros Solomon and his representative in Khartoum Semere Rusom have organized the killings and kidnappings of a lot of Eritreans. Can you please shed more light on the network in general and people involved ?. This information is very important for the new generation because some the criminals have now moved to the opposition camp and are hiding in its ranks. They are may be trying to protect themselves by paralyzing the organizations they have infiltrated. And as they try to avoid being exposed, they will also try to work against any real change in Eritrea.

Were we really cheated big time?This same system, the dictatorship,was basically running the gedli as well. I was one of the kids who sung the song dedicated to martyrs during the funeral service. He was buried in a catholic cemetery in Khartoum. I also remember many dignitaries attending the service. You are NOT alone! What doesn’t cease to amaze sensible people is the following:
Isaias who joined Gedli in 1966 as a 1st year AAU thatmeans he was only 19/20 years old. But at this tender age, how is that
a) he became so deeply artistic in the skills of reading the politcal mess of 1966-1971 and survived it all
b) And after he led the splinter group, in particular from 1971-173, how was he able to learn to ruthlessly & decisively swiftly kill, purge opponents at that age? Was there a sophisticated foreign organization that really nurtured, molded, shaped him?
c) Was his China’s (knowing that we now know how Chinese of Mao were) trip taught him this and nothing but purging opponents? If so were all who cross his path charmed by his looks and believed he was the one that needed to lead & be secretly trained an organizational, political, networking skills? And he in deed didn’t fail his teachers!
Ato Tesfay temenwo articulately explained that Isaias stood out more than any of the Gedli leaders except those whom he purged (menkae). “After he purged the Menkae movement, he had, whatsoever, no scary time that he ever faced & no one came to challenge him”.
so literally, the killing began with menkae but the “id sewra newiH iyu” was simply copied from the big boys around the world that were doing it to purge their opponents. so the “id sewra newiH iyu” exercise wasn’t the brainchild of Gedli. What do you mean Isaias was artistic brother Fact-is-Fact? Isaias has never been artistic or skilful in his entire life. The reason is that: a) Isaias has never changed his tricks or the way he manages the organisation since he was known as a leader. They are simple tricks commonly known by leaders at their early age b) Do not forget the cause and the ideology the organisation used to follow. The cause of the Eritrean revolution was a noble cause. Thus we, as people of Eritrea, had a natural obligation to support. The ideology followed had its own impact on our thinking, the whole world, including the so called “artistic” Isaias were in this non-materialised trap. c) He is one of the long serving men of the Eritrean Revolution and visited Mao of China when Mao was on a high esteem by the standards of the time. So, Isaias had more leverage than his most comrades. It was inevitable for his comrades to trust him. d) put in mind the geopolitical structure of our society. At the early time of the formation of EPLF, the first division led by Omaru and Romadan was in full support of Isaias for fear they would be hunted down by their traditional enemies from Barka (Binamir). Any one who wants support from them can exploit that, and Isaias did it. This is common sense not intelligence. e) The first young people who joined the newly founded organisation were from Hamasien-mostly illiterate. It is easier to use the card of regionalism than preaching them about nation building process if you want to win their mind. And Isaias used it. These people came to the forefront of everything, including leading to the people came from Harvard and Oxbridge Universities. Is it intelligence? So, who to blame for the mess we are in? Everybody!

This is true; there are many criminals residing in America, Australia and America who are part of the opposition that were part of Jebha and shaebia at one time.

In my opinion you are wrong, most of the Eritrean are one of the HUMANITARIAN people in this planet.
99% of Tegadelti left their beloved home and family to free Eritrean. They didn’t even think of their religion, family, relatives. They all were good fighters, honest fighters and brought us the freedom of Eritrean, which exists as the Country now.
Don’t forget, they all were very young when they went to Gedli, while their family, friends, neighbors were killed in every street of Eritrean cities, Villages were burned to ash.
I agreed with you on some point, we let down our heros after 1991. We didn’t even challenge the PFDJ (which are 1% of the Eritrea ppl, these are the CANCER-HIGH SECURITY OF PFDJ of Eritrean people) all the time. We gave them every chance to govern us without humanity and constitutions. For instance, In 1993, Eritrean people allowed the PFDJ leaders (i.e., Mesf Hagus) to kill our disable heros, while we all were dancing, drinking, planning to build a new house, new business or small villa in Asmara without of HUMANITY.

– A boat with about 500 Eritreans capsized in the Mediterranean sea and very few survived! It was televised in the world and many families in Eritrea we told news of their children’s death. We visited the mourners. What did we do? NOTHING!
– Foreigners wrote and wrote about Eritreans being kidnapped and raped, beaten and killed or sold by BEDOUWIN. we read and what did we do to stop it? NOTHING!
– Lampadusa tragedy followed and we all cried our eyes out. What did we do? NOTHING! It is almost a year now. By the way Where are teh ‘good’ and ‘honest’ tegadelti doing? Can’t they at least mobilize the people and bring peace and justice to their people? NO! NO! What about their military ranks? what if they go to prison? Oh what about the house they were given (of course snatched from some Eritreans before it was given to them)

When were you raped or sold by Tegadelti? If you are pointing your fingers to the existing PFDJ soldiers, they are not tegadelti any more. These are a normal soldiers, who are willing to rape their sisters and mums.
I think, you have a personal problem with tegadelti. Let us assume that you were raped by few Tegadelti, these are the 1% of the DIA followers or PFDJ.

I am against all teh adverbs and adjectives you use when it comes to tegadelty and PFDJ. Words such as ALL, 100%, 99%. Let me make my points in bullets
– Eritrean people brought the independence. There is no Gedli or tegadalay without the people.
– If I was raped by a few tegadelty, then it means other erirtean sisters have also been raped my a ‘few’ other tegadelty. So FEW+ FEW= MANY.Not 1%! But you wrote ‘They all were good fighters, honest fighters and brought us the freedom of Eritrean, which exists as the Country now.’
I did not say ALL tegadelty are bad. I said where are they when we need them if they fought for ‘freedom’. We are not free, are we?
