Voice of Assenna: Eye Witness Account of the Boat Disaster in the Mediterranean Sea which Occurred on 28th May, with Around 450 Mostly Eritrean Refugees on Board, Saturday, June 4, 2016
This is another tragedy striking Eritrea again. This is the sad indicator that Eritrea is dying a low death. A nation without its young population has no future. This is how nations die.

Try to understand where I am coming from. Do not jump into a conclusion. I shed real tears every time this happens. At the same time I get disgusted to see them dance with their abusers and tormentors, fill nay taesa forms, fill forms testifying their abusers are saints all to visit back home. Now give me a word that describes them.
My heart bleeds for these young folks everyday. There is an old Eritrean saying , AB MERET ZIWEDEKET SIGAS HAMED HIZA TITISI’E. They are our blood. However,I am not interested in learning the anatomy of death and dying, because I experienced it , I know it in its highest form, blood and gore, decapitations, amputations, evisceration, corpses pulverized beyond recognition……this tragedy has become mundane for Eritreans, Lampedusa highlights it.Why aren’t we asking this young folks, what are you willing to die for? what are you looking for on the other side of the fence? who is going to defend the home you grew up being ransacked by bunch of lawless hoodlums? How come you don’t stay home and claim what is righteously yours and fight to make things better for mom and dad and the lives of your beloved people and die doing it instead of quietly withering away in the sands of the desert or be treated like a cheap commodity by illiterate human traffickers? How are we expecting to bring about change without addressing this issues head on? simply feeling sorry for the victims and congratulating the once who made it evaporates the very aim of our cause. It is called tough love. If we don’t tell them the truth and re-frame their minds who really their enemy is, who will? correct me if I am wrong because I care.
The Eritrean refugee crisis is man made or more like for choosing and following the evil ghedli/banditry so-called revolution. It is a failure of governance or more the failure of banditry revolution. Eritreans are fully aware of the dangers that await them in their long trek to leave their homeland : being shot crossing the border by Eritrean forces(shefatu/bandits), dying on desolate desert trails, being tortured and ransomed by traffickers, sinking in rickety boats and languishing in refugee camps.
They make these choices because what they are leaving behind is worse indeed. Eritrea’s refugee saga is what the Ethiopian famine was in the 1970 and 1980 – a product of tyranny then and a result of following 50 yrs evil ghedli madness now. The ruling ghedli clique is devoid of concern for the well being of the people. The saddest of it all is the majority of these alien-loving evil ghedli tegadelti and their worshipers still believe they brought us independence and liberated us from God knows which colonizers! Simply miHiret yewirid fetari amlakh from all these ghedli madness, slavery and shames.
After our people fought long and fierce battle for independence they sat
idly whining to blame their fate for sufferings under one man domination.
To secure stability and bright future require dedicated men/women efforts
that can bring hope on people’s expectations .
Recent social developments of Eritrean refugees crisis has causes behind
unfortunate scenario which started from the time these young generation were obligated to perform national duty in pretext of national service . Many of these SAWA recruits felt victims of enslavement at the hands of corrupted officials and the outcome of failed policy led us to witness confused lost souls perished everywhere.
The sad part which bothers fair-minded people is when bunch educated
and non educated idiots stand for oppressive system at the expense of
their own young brothers/sisters miserable fate .
When stupid politics overpowered humanity , equality and fairness we
open the door for EVIL to take upper hand control . And there is no
more tears left to shed on unending terrible tragedies except a will
to confront and tackle our wrongs .
$3500 Dollar, the main culprits are enjoying the money every evening in Dubai clubs.Drinking and Eating. They are Also Eritreans. The place of this money being laundered in Dubai. Its not secret who these people are.The focus should be on these middle men based in dubai to run the libya sudan smuggling operations. The money making machine.

Sir,
It’s a big shame to make jokes about tragedies of people.
I don’t know who you are but you are someone full of hate.
