Layman’s prediction
1. Issayas Afewerki Abraha, the greatest schemer, will now be FREE from the tight spot he immersed himself into and be busy to cook-up the next grand ambition.
2. The energetic, charming, young Dr. Abyi will now relax [at least for a while from the Oromo and Amhara disturbances] and be busy in the grandiose development of Ethiopian Infrastructure and Economics as well as International Relationship.
3. The TPLF too will be busy to: a) recover from the unexpected loss of their power; b) to hatch a plan to recover their POWER; and c), to devise a revenge upon Issyas Afewerki Abraha >>> as long as it may take.
4. The Eritrean People, at long last being FREE, will enjoy the seven-a-week lights to Addis Ababa by the world renowned modern Ethiopian Airlines. By the way, the so-called 20% share with Eritrean Airline is just hoax for amusement.
5. Eritreans will now enjoy employment due to the construction of infrastructure by Ethiopia making Assab one of the most modern Ports in the world.
6. It all goes to show you there is a number of ways to ‘skin a cat’.
7. In a few years, Eritreans will NOT remember why they fought and lost thousands and thousands of precious young Souls — only to have null and void Liberty in addition to the total devastation of Eritrea.
8. Question: WHY? Answer: Ask Issayas Afewerki Abraha and he will give you a faint of smile with disgust, as an answer.

Eritreans will NOT enjoy employment due to the construction of infrastructure by Ethiopia.
Priority would be given first to the highly skilled Chinese people and also to Ethiopians who have had a lot of advanced experiences in building the Abay dam and other major projects.
For poor unskilled Eritreans, the cleaning sides, guards/wardiyata and minewale/labourer minor jobs would be given.

I doubt that Isaias will keep quiet by delegating power to Dr Abiy. No, he is buying his time to penetrate into the Ethiopian economy to exercise his usual hegemonic trade practices and Ethiopian politics to re-configure the society into a Tigray – tgrigni, greater Afar, etc projects, which will create a 7 to 8 new countries. Because his dream of a confederated Ethiopian state seems out dated as Ethiopians have been practicing Ethnic federalism, it is going to be tough for Dr Abiy to bring the youth to the old ways of Ethiopian sentiment especially the Ogaden-Somalis, the Agazians, the Oromos. By the way, have you ever questioned the sucking of Nakfa, the Eritrean currency, out of the market? It seems to give way to the re-emerging of Birr into the Eritrean economy.
