We lost a supper star artist, legend and an icon- who unlike other opportunist “artists” never swayed from his firm stance and never betrayed Eritrea and never compromised the interest and the price paid by Eritrean people. I can’t forget what the presence and comfort of Alamin meant to our neighborhood families (Ahmedin Getu, Seed Abdu, Abdu Mohammed Johar, my family of Weldemariam Gubsa etc) during Asmera’s 1974-1975 nightmares and saddest days.
Alamin you did your utmost and your dedication will remain alive indefinitely in the hearts of all real Eritreans and beyond . Alamin may your soul rest in peace.
Hussien please accept and covey my condolences to the entire family. I imagine how difficult this must be for you, the family and the entire peace loving Eritreans at large and for people like myself who have known Alamin and his family very closely.
