Indeed, indeed respected brother Amanuel, hats-off to you kibur haw. Please keep it up and treat us with more of the same high/top quality article. This was indeed like a good treat but a very educational and eye opener, thanks again.
Thank you Amanuel, …
I wish we understood this concept decades ago. We still have some time left,, otherwise, we will perish all together. The fate of Eritrea and Tigray is in the same boat. If Eritrea perishes, Tigray perishes, so does the other way round ….
DEAR AMANUEL,I always respected you not this time. The current rulers of Ethiopia had 27 years to lead Ethiopia into a democracy where all Ethiopians are represented in the government, be it in parliament or in the military, the present situation in Ethiopia is due to one ethnic group just 6%OF THE POPULATION IN GOVERNIND 96% OF the population, SO if you believe in rule of law freedom and equality where all are represented, what is going on in Ethiopia is correct. THE ETHNIC and race segregation was started by the ruling Tigreans to divide and rule and not by the Ethiopian people who are fighting for their right. You are fighting for your right against the butcher of Eritrea ,why is it different when Ethiopians fight for theirs ,By the way most Eritreans want Ethiopia back into their life Ruther than what is happening in Eritrea in the last 27 years .Ethiopians have the right to fight for their freedom. Unlike the coward people of Eritrea they are dying and fighting for the right of all Ethiopians even for Tigray,
Nice article but fail to mention TPLF evil intentions against Eritrea. Both Iseyas, TPLF as well as Amhara;s are the enemies of Eritrea. Your analyses is not different from what we hear from Fana and other TPLF outlets
We Eritreans love our people and neighbors. From our past and current history, we know that Amhara, Woyane and Iseyas are our enemies. Amauel’s analysis is biased and put the blame on Iseyas. only. Though he played a great role in destroying the country, Weyane’s reluctance to accept the final and binding decision is a key factor that helped him stay in power, Our struggle should be aimed in implementing the constitution as well as safeguarding our sovereignty.
Amanuel, you have delivered yet another masterpiece of Eritrean/Ethiopian reality in plain Tigrigna that even the parrots of the Eritrean regime will not miss. I am afraid the majority of the two “ bald” people of Ethiopia and Eritrea are too backward they could not shed the tribal politics that will be responsible for their demise. Take, for example, the Washington DC Amhara chauvinist so called elite politicians who are cheering the demise of the current government in Ethiopia. As you have beautifully expressed on your articulate piece, they promote a political view that calls for removing the Tigrean influence while in the same breath they claim the Tigrean land including that of Eritrea in their geographical territory. How they reconcile their political and geographical ambitions is beyond me. What they don’t see beyond grabbing the Arat Kilo government building is that their political thought is a recipe for the dismantling of Ethiopia as we know it.
On the Eritrean side, Isaias has been used as a condom by the Arab world to destabilize the East African region for far too long. Let’s ask what Isaias stands for, and why has he been allowing the destruction of Eritrea and Ethiopia? What does he gain from it all? Why has he enslaved the Eritrean youth in a meaningless “national servitude “ in an environment devoid of basic education? Too many questions with no answers… Alas, the game ain’t over! On the contrary, the suicidal game in the region is just beginning.

Thank you for thinking out of the current fashionable box. The fashion de jure being blaming the TPLF and by extension the people of Tigrai for every ill that happens in Ethiopia. I’m surprised they don’t get blamed for the weather. It is absolutely true that the lion’s share of the blame for what Tigrians are facing goes to the betrayal by the TPLF leadership. It is also equally true that under the current government, Ethiopia has seen unprecedented growth and transformation. Needless to say, the people of Tigrai paid huge sacrifices to bring about this change. Unfortunately, those who see themselves as the Devine rulers of the country were and are hell bent to make sure that no credit goes to what they perceive to be Weyane government. Still other leaders of some ethnic groups hide behind the TPLF and Tigrians to cover their incompetent and corrupt practices.. Amidst all these craziness, ordinary Tigrians are being hunted like wild animals with nobody being held accountable. It makes one wonder if there is a government in Ethiopia. In any case, You seem to be the only person who’s standing on principle to call, out this dangerous development and offer moral support.. We, as tigrians have been through worse in our long history and we will continue to deal with events as they come. It has also become an incredible but painful teaching moment. A lesson that for elites of a certain ethnic group, we will always be the enemy that destroyed their cherished autocratic system and that they may never forgive us for that sin and that they will go to any length to harm us and if the country gets destroyed in the process, so be it.
Thank you again for your measures and thought editorial
Hi Amanuel you are paid by T_tplf and talk of hate and divisive words.
In history Amhara has never organised in the sense of ethnic group and ruled Ethiopia.; you have been taught and narrated by your “banda” grandfathers wrong history..
Hi Aman,
I think you are brave to raise controversial but relevant issues we Eritreans should be aware off. We seem to have closed our future due to desperation and we need to come out of the shell and narrow nationalism. We need to follow closely what is happening around our country because it directly affects us. We should not cheat ourselves from the seemingly quiet political atmosphere in Eritrea.
Keep it up Emmanuel and there are many who share your view. DEHAR WAY WAY WAGA YEBLUN
