Isn’t history supposed to be objective? I spent four of my childhood years in Tigrai. I went to school with their kids and did what kids do together. I have nothing but love to the people. They are good to the core. There were also few bad apples from Tigrai who committed atrocities in Eritrea during colonial days, during Haile Sellasie and during Derg. Recently few within TPLF leadership treated Eritreans in Ethiopia inhumanely. However these groups don’t represent the people of Tigrai.
Here is where I don’t agree with you. The sovereign nation of Eritrea has nine children. You can not tear one child (the Tigrigna speaking) apart and lump it wherever you feel comfortable. Although Tigrians are our blood relatives, we belong to Eritrea and they belong to Ethiopia. Your expression “”We are one people” sounds AGAZIAN.
