“‘ክልምና ‘ነደይ ክልምና ‘ነደይ!” it is a timely prayer of our mothers and sisters.
May God remember the oppressed people of Eritrea.
May God offer the hopeless and disgruntled land of Eritrea some light even for the small 40 Watt Ampule lamp and some water to drink and some justice too from the savage and saHsaH slave/Abeed drivers and respite from the long National Slavery of Eritrea.
May Maryam Asmereyti remove the dark and evil clouds from Eritrea
Eritrean mothers of faith very touching spiritual scene that express
prayer asking God to strive our men/women in authority including the
entire society to live Godly lives and repent for doing unnecessary
harm on helpless victims .
For conscious and courageous Eritrean man it send a message to make
feel ashamed for inviting evil environment in their livelihood .
They need their brave children to stop the uncontrolled watery eyes
caused from living in darkness and see light of hope . Real man do not
cry for man made inflicted pain but respond in his way to take action
like the previous GHEDLI generation deeds .
The last time I saw our mothers dance like that was during TSOM ARBA’A and FILSETA ab INDA MARIAM. I was a little kid then.It is a gesture of submission to KIDANE MHRET, they are grieving, they are asking for a miracle from up above, it is a symbolic clip.Great journalism.
Notice, no HGDEF colors, mothers with their plane authentic traditional clothes, that is who we are, we need to go back there, this HGDEF culture is foreign to us,we need to rediscover ourselves again. It is only when we do that, the evil dark clouds that is hovering over us will dissipate and a shimmering, kaleidoscopic daylight will burst upon our homeland. The force of change is lurking within us.Let’s not look elsewhere.Love you brothers and sisters.
I do not know if anybody else has the same feeling, but I can not stop my tears seeing this clip. I hate myself, why would my mothers ask for a divine intervention had I not been dead. Do you guys feel the same, I feel a dead man walking. We are just shadows of our old being. Had they implored for rain or anything beyond the power of man it would have been ok. But this is man made problem we should bring man made solution to it. Do not tell me God can, I know but even God has asked his people (Israel) to fight and then he will stand by them, enough excuses.
Amanuel, I strongly agree with your comment. God helps those who help themselves. God will always bless our initiatives for our struggle to emanicipate ourselves from all odds. The Bible tells us tha God sent Adam to earth to earh his bread through hard work sweats.
Yes Eritrean mothers are begging God every in Asmara, I saw this few months ago mothers, children and old men in different places, crying for peace and praying the regime’s demise , for rain and for God’s forgiveness.
Most of these places are on high ground in door less church like rooms with pictures of the Virgin Mary, St Michael and other Saints.
The mehlela is going on every where in the country, and the Satanic regime may do his moves to close and ban it, as the dictator is against any kind organized worshiping that doesn’t involve the praise of PFDJ and him.
Death to the dictator, and his coward in name only officials.
The last time I saw eritrean mothers singing like that was in 1998 when the war with eritrea erupted. They were infact dancing like crrazy stimulating the poor warsay to go and fight at the fronts. Now they are dancing for God and that is good thing. I think the misery of the last 15 years have made it clear to us all that peace with our selves and peace with our neighbours is what we all need.
” Now they are dancing for God that is good thing ” . First of all
you don’t know these particular mothers and secondly you might be
dependent on ERI-TV and HADDAS ERITREA information at BADME war time
prevented from seeing the agony of Eritreans mothers . Your name sound
Christian and what is wrong you can’t distinguish prayer from dancing .
Better make peace with yourselves before you give advice .
