‘The rock breakers’ calls them the reporter,’..tell another story…’.This is the stark contrasting point of views that plagued the country for years.I wonder where the bulldozers and excavators they proudly display on EriTv are stored? Instead we see older women scattered in the field digging dirt with their bare hands, and young and old men pushing and carrying rocks in their back endlessly. This is not about self-reliance,it is the tyrants way of breaking the souls and backs of the poor masses to submission, and you can see it and hear it in the eyes and voice of the rock breakers. Oooo! my country my home, I don’t recognize you anymore
The documentary by the French TV station says it all. Here is a “good” reason for some hypocrites and opportunist Romantics to celebrate the humiliation and slavery of Eritrea in the last 25 years.
The documentary showed that the regime’s gulags are real, and not much different from those created by Soviet to kill millions, with hard labor and total deprivation.
The documentary shows exactly what is happening in Eritrea. It shows how much the people are intimidated to speak freely with the exception of the soldiers who were doing unpaid jobs and the girl who spoke about peace with Ethiopia.
The video shows exactly how the soviets were treated under Stalin.
The journalist and the world that saw the documentary must have witnessed how much the Eritrean people are living that is under tremendous fear and terror, perhaps worse than people in North Korea.
The world have seen also the slavery of the youth even wearing military uniforms doing unpaid jobs , some of them were very courageous, who stood in support of the speaker.
According to the documentary Eritrea is like a pressure cooker ready to explode, and I hope that happens sooner than later.
Cry for the poor soldier who begged for money openly while doing heavy manual job.
Death to PFDJ and the Tembenis.
