Last Sunday, the 3^rd of April 2016, soldiers opened fired upon youth who were fleeing from them in a central area of Asmara. Bullets flew in a populated area and the youth were murdered, many were injured and some died from fatal wounds in the hospital. As we seek more information and details, we know this did happen and we must stand against these kinds of actions; we need to show that, as a people, we will not tolerate this.

Some fellow Eritreans in Bologna, Italy, are organising a gathering in acknowledgement of the crime and in solidarity with the victims and their families.

We must all join them in demonstrating our indignation and grief. The meeting in Bologna will be Saturday 9^th of April at 5pm in Bologna. I’m calling on all Eritreans who live in London to hold a concurrent gathering in Marble Arch this weekend, on Saturday 9^th of April at 4pm, and all Eritreans all over Europe and the rest of the world to meet at the same moment and show that this is not acceptable. Check what time that means in your country and organise a meet in your town/city.

In Eritrea it will be 7pm. We know the people there are not free to gather or freely and openly denounce this incident: it is important that we show we are mourning too.

Our situation as Eritreans in nothing but tragic. There is no hero, there is no special group of people with all the right ideas coming to save the day. These were not villains out of nowhere who shot innocent people, they’re a product of the society. The society must change its ways, and you can find this society first and foremost in your mirror. A change for the better can only happen if we all take part of it, we can’t expect a better society without helping to make bring it about. Let’s stand together as a society and refuse to stand by when such things happen.

ኣብ ዝሓለፈ ሰንበት፡  3 ሚያዝያ 2016፡ ኣብ ማእከል ኣስመራ፡ ካብ መኪና እናዘለሉ ክሃድሙ ንዝፈተኑ ታዓላሞ፡ ብወገን ወተሃደራት ተኹሲ ተኸፊቱሎም። ከም ሳዕቤን ናይቲ ኣብ ጻዕቂ ህዝቢ ዝመሓላለፈሉ ዝተኸፍተ ተኹሲ፡ ሓያሎ መንእሰያት ተቐንጺሎም፡ ብዙሓት ተወጊኦም፡ ካልኦት ድማ ኣብ ሆስፒታል ሞይቶም።

ተወሳኺ ሓበሬታ እናተጸበና፡ ኢዚ ፍጻሜ’ ዚ ከምዘጋጠመ ብጭቡጥ ስለንፈልጥ፡  ኣንጻር ከምዚ ዝኣመሰለ ተግባር ተቓውሞና ክነርኢ ይግባእ። ከም ዜጋታት መጠን፡ ከምዚ ዝኣመሰለ ተግባር ከምዘይንጻወሮ ክነፍልጥ ይግባእ።

ኣብ ቦሎኛ ኢጣልያ ዝርከቡ ኤርትራውያን ነዚ ገበን ብምቅዋም፡ ንግዳያትን ንስድራቤቶምን ደገፎምን ጓሂኦምን ንምግላጽ ይዳለዉ ኣሎዉ።

ቁጠዐናን ጓሂናን ንምግላጽ፡ ኩላትና ኣብ ዘዘለናዮ ብመንፈስ ክንጽንበሮም ይግባእ።

ኣብ ከተማ ቦሎኛ፡ እቲ ርክብ ብዕለት 9 ሚያዝያ ሰዓት 5:00 ድሕሪ ቀትሪ ክፍጸም ኢዩ።

በዚ መሰረት፡ ንኩሎም ኣብ ከተማ ሎንዶን ዝርከቡ ኤርትራውያን፡ ኣብ  MARBLE ARCH  ቀዳም ሰዓት 4:00  ድሕሪ ቀትሪ ተራኺብና ንከምዚ ዝኣመሰለ ኢሰብኣዊተግባር ተቓውሞና ክንገልጽ እጽውዕ። ብተመሳሳሊ ንኩሎም ኣብ ኤውሮጳን ኣብ ካልኦት ኩርናዓት  ዓለም እትርከቡ ኤርትራውያን ኣብቲ ሰዓት ’ቲ ተኣኪብኩም ነዚ ተቓውሞ ክትጽንበሩዎ እጽውዕ።

ኣብ ኤርትራ ሰዓት 7:00 ድሕሪ ቀትሪ ኪኸውን ኢዩ። ዋላ’ኳ ህዝብና ተኣኪቡ ተቓውሞኡ ክገልጽ ዘይክእል እንተኾይኑ፡ ኣብዚ ናይ ሓዘን ህሞት ምስኡ ኣብ ጎድኑ ከምዘሎናክነርኢ ኣዝዩ ኣገዳሲ ኢዩ።

ኣብ ኤርትራ  ዘሎ ኩነታት ኣዝዩ ዘሕዝን ኢዩ። ነዚ ኩነታት’ ዚ ንበይኑ ክልውጥ ዝኽእል ፍሉይ ጅግና ወይ ፍሉይ ጉጅለ የልቦን።

እቶም ተኹሲ ዝኸፈቱ ወተሃደራት ካብ ባዶ ኣይኮኑን ወጺኦም። ንሳቶም ናይ ሕብረተሰብ ውጽኢት ኢዮም። እቲ ሕብረተሰብ ኣካይዳኡ  ክቕይር ድማ ግድን ኢዩ። እቲ ሕብረተሰብ ድማ ነፍስወከፍና ኣብ መመስትያትና ክንርእዮ ንኽእል።

ዝሓሸ ለውጢ፡ ኩላትና ንምምጻኡ ምስ እንሳተፍ ጥራይ ኢዩ ክመጽእ ዝኽእል። ነፍስወከፍና ብዝተሳተፍናሉ ናይ ሓባር ጻዕሪ ጥራይ ኢዩ ዝሓሸ ሕብረተሰብ ክመጽእ ዝኽእል። ተዓዘብቲ ጥራይ ኣይንኹን። ከም ሕብረተሰብ መጠን፡ ነዚ ጻዕሪ’ ዚ ብሓባር ንሳተፍ።
