The name reminded me of commentator of last year who
portray himself like change seeker but everything about
him negative only inviting confrontation instead solution
If your hand is too tight , do not bother assenna’s request
to help the family is directed for Eritreans with good heart who fear God to do holy deeds to help unfortunate
human beings . Asking people to help for our people who need help outside the country is a prove of assenna record .
Kalighe January 6, 2014
There are some Eritreans who would like to send money to Addis Abeba (or wherever they family is now) through ‘Hawala’ (Somali/Ethiopian money transfer facilities scattered throughout Middle Eastern countries). So, if possible please post the family’s phone number or of a trusted person close to them, if possible. If you think this could compromise their security then other ways will be explored. People who want make these donations are Eritrean passport holders, who cannot afford to take risks in countries where the regime has strong connections. It’s important to keep in mind that, huge amounts of money are usually collected, when in a large gathering a small amount is requested.
Gader January 6, 2014
I srongly support Brother Khalighe suggestion, as mentioned that lots of Eritrean reside in the Middle East have a stronge willing to support Wedi Ali Family

Man do not be mean spirited if u can not afford or do not want to contribute then shut your toothless arse , secondly how do you know if some of them or all the people on the list are regular contributor to every good cause they see, you sound very nasty person
Haile Zeru January 6, 2014
Assenna should fix the problem with payment.
I live in Canada and I cannot use my VISA.
The first field “country” has all the countries of the world, while the second field “country” has
only UK provinces. One cannot leave it even blank.
Unless you input data in that field the payment will not be processed.
And the data is chosen from the list only.
This is a problem. Please fix.
taffla January 7, 2014
I agree I am having same problem. How about adding PayPal?
Bokre January 9, 2014
PayPal works well, and you can send it to assenna’s account mentioning it is for wedi ali family, it works well.

Once again uk is leading the platform, proud of you UK and Assenna i think this is not only a simple nice thing to do to the family of the hero, it shouldn’t be as a mere humantrian gesture but a means of struggle as it will hopefuly be a message of encouragnment to the members of eritrean army the peers of wedi Ali and our population at large, a message of hope. As in wedi tikabo’s world of “Geysha la Ghedli”, i hope your donation will help to bring back the exiled.

Truly Truly i say to you January 8, 2014
Sina, you said, “Hawkha gedifka dma Wedi-Ali Wedi Tikabo Wedi Vacaro ….. miHgaz zeyhiseb eyu”
Do you know the bible as tells us, “while Jesus was talking to the people, his mother and brothers arrived. They stood outside, asking to speak with him. So one of the people there said to him, ” Look, your mother and brothers are standing outside, and the want to speak with you.”
Jesus answered, “Who is my mother? Who are my brothers?
Then he pointed to his disciples and said, “Look! Here are my mother and brothers! Whoever does what my father in heaven wants him to do is my brother, my sister, and my mother.” (Matthew 12; 46-50)
So you fool, have you know understand according God´s sight which one to help as it is worthy? Indeed, everybody who fulfills God´s will is, a real brother mother or sister, not own biological brothers or mother. How many times most of you tiered of helping your own coward family members to those just for own private better life to gain all time bothering you? To be honest i sometimes regrets as i help own family members despite i know all are pro PFDJ, because as much as i need because i couldn´t support, which i call are my real brothers, such as Wedi Ali, And Amanuel Iyasu for instance.
But Wodi- Ali, by leaving his own children and wife for the sake of his people just to set all free from dictatorship he sacrificed his own life.
Poor Sina, didn´t you know as Jesus say, “Whoever loves his father or mother, son or daughter more than me is not fit to be my disciple. Whoever tries to gain his own life will lose it; but whoever loses his life for my for my sake will gain it. (Matthew 10; 37-39)
So others for instance to gain own life as 365 citizens perished in Lampadusa meaninglessly and lose their life, but Wodi Ali for sake of all citizens to free because sacrificed, if people start support his rest family money, what is a big deal or matter about? I tell you Wodi Ali both in heaven and in earth he gains life because deserved.
Sina January 8, 2014
Truly,
Sorry for the kids who got a wrong minded dad and a mum. The father lost his life for nothing and now the mother made another big mistake. If not you don’t want to accept the truth it’s up to you. Why you trying to explain the word of GOD. Like every other people I know the words. But its not about listening . It is about practicing what we listen. And from my experience, not only me but everyone look first and most for his family.
Anyway, it is not about what I am talking. It is about what you see on the Assenna’s screen – contribution of the less than 35 people contribution and less than Euro 3,000.00. Imagine if Wedi-Ali had the chance to see this contribution at this time. Do you think he would be happy he lost his life for this amount of money only. I am sure next year no one will remember him.
Senait January 8, 2014
“Do you think he would be happy he lost his life for this amount of money only. I am sure next year no one will remember him”
He lost his life for his people not for money. the money is to show his family will not be forgotten after his death. By the way when contribute toward martyr’s ? fund to PFDJ’s pocket do you feel the same (“the martyrs didn’t for my money”) Hopefully his kids will move to third country and have decent life your kids have.
