Why this people care about this particular school? It’s something behind it…they were cool ppl but the last five years nay wegen seb endakonu ymetsu alewu…msel nkulu msel ygebrwa alewu.
Indeed I thought the government asked for the funds. Heck how would I know my money will be going to school not to the dictator to destroy my people and my country.
SAID you must be a supper reginalist. To help our lovely very old and damaged sc hool is not considered to be we are Awrajawian, we are very far away from it think twice before you write your ugly comments. It was one of the best secondary schools of Eritrea directing by our legends Memhir Aser Asrat ,Memhir Ejob Araia ,Memhir Zeremariam,Memhir Mana Gebey, Memhir Tafere Awalom and the late Hailu.Let me remember also our kind fathers Aboy Guadad,Aboy Gheremedhin,Aboy Shiraj,Wedi Gheshat who were woking in our school and give as advise to study hard for our bright future,so what is wrong to help for sush a good ide.
I thought this was stopped by HGDF before. What happened to the first few rounds? The idea was noble but how is that possible HGDF will let them do that? Good luck for the fundraising.
Where is the transparency ? How much money has been donated so far? What did you do with the money? Photos before and after. I doubt higdef allow free fund raising out of higdef control. I am not against any kind of good will but the devil is everywhere.
If higdef allow us to do freely to help our people, we could do many things in one year what the loser higdef could not do in 23 years.
The issue of transparency, as posted above, is a very legitimate concern. A government which is allergic to accountability could not be expected to implement the wishes of the fund raisers. This fund raising shows the burning desire of Eritreans to help their brothers and sisters back home. But, by now, it should have been well understood by all of us that as long as there is no constitutional government in Eritrea no matter what will not help alleviate the plight of the people.
Hi!Brothers and Sisters,
Making fund-raising for a school or clinic in any part of Eritrea is NOT regionalism (wegenawinet). I personally admire people who take time to do such things.WE can only help our people back home piece by piece. We cannot help all at the same time. So please go ahead and may the Almighty help you!You have all my admiration.
