    Fact-is-fact,
    Part-1
In your comment you raised three important points that I have selected for discussion: (1) why I call the woyane regime barbaric and its consequence (2) woyane’s face-to-face precondition (3) woyane’s generosity to Eritrean refugees. I believe the latter two points have been recycled beyond their meaningful use individuals on the opposition side and the barbaric woyane instead of creating other smart tactics. To tell you the truth, you guys are not innovative. Now let me tell you why I associate the woyane regime with barbarism. The barbaric regime that I “spit” at has deported over 80 000 Eritreans and Ethiopians of Eritrean origin in the most dehumanizing manner the world has ever seen and then confiscated their life long earned assets. The enemy I “spit” at has displaced over half a million Eritreans living along the border and has since occupied the areas and resettled the homes and farmlands with its own people.

    part-2
Nations exist not because of the force of nature but by the force of international laws. The reason why Eritreans had spent thirty years fighting against an enemy which was a thousand times bigger than their size was because the enemy that was as large as the legendary Goliath had refused to bide by international laws that were supposed to hold the two countries for a certain period of time. Similarly, the issue we have at hand this time around is again a violation of international laws by the same Goliath under a different name. It is not about the size of the enemy that matters, my bro/sis, it is about justice that has been trashed by the barbaric woyane regime. Eritreans and Ethiopians know that the two parties opted to settle their border dispute at the international court of arbitration because they were not willing to sit down face-to-face to solve their problem. And this fact should not be simply overlooked. They both signed to honor their obligation whatever the outcome of the final and binding verdict would be. It is a legal issue, and the woyane regime has no choice but to respect its obligation and allow the demarcation of the border without any preconditions.

    part-3
I understand the barbaric woyane regime is playing delaying tactics in case the PFDJ regime falls under any circumstance so that it can renegotiate the whole border issue under an Eritrean regime that it has a total control. But trust me that will not happen. If the woyane regime is truly interested in a lasting peace between the two countries, the first but most important step is for it to allow the demarcation of the border according to the outcome of the international court of arbitration. This is a prerequisite to any future relationship and other mutual negotiations. If there is anyone who talks or thinks otherwise does not have the desire of peaceful co-existence between the two sisterly countries.

  • Mr. T January 1, 2012

    part-4
The third point you have raised is, I think, related to woyane’s generosity. Although this issue has nothing to do with the demarcation of the border according to the final and binding verdict, the woyane regime’s gesture to allow some Eritreans to higher education at the university level is commendable. Its small gesture with the help the UN and UNHCR, however, cannot by any means absolve the regime’s barbaric occupation of Eritrea’s territory in violation of international laws. It is also a fact that there are thousands of Eritrean refugees in Ethiopia, and the regime has an obligation to treat these refugees humanely under international laws. In the same token, its generosity to grant Eritrean refugees in its soil cannot be construed as if the regime cares about Eritrea and Eritreans. The benefit the barbaric woyane gets by sheltering so many young Eritreans in its soil far outweighs the PFDJ regime gets from the loss of its young soldiers. After all, the barbaric woyane’s plan how to destroy Eritrea is a multifaceted program. You have also mentioned some other points which I believe are not related to the issue under discussion: demarcation of the border without any preconditions.

    Happy New Year!

      Mr. T

God bless you! I have never read or heard any thing well put, to the point and a very precise depiction of the border issue, Woyanies running from justice.

And hey, that bullshit about Ethiopians kindness for refugees and Universities always makes me laugh. Are these people who are saying these really Eritreans? Any one using that as a justification of Woyanie’s kindness must have a low regard of the Eritrean people and is insulting the intelligence of the Eritrean people.
      Facts:
      1. Eritrea and Ethiopia are at war, so any body; military personnel or otherwise, particularly the youth, crossing the border to the enemy land is not a benefit to Eritrea. Actually US, some western countries along with Ethiopia are purposely creating this “Migration Corridor”.
      2. We fought 30+ years, voted 99% yes to independence to go away from Ethiopia, and you are trying to tell us we should be impressed with Ethiopian Universities. We were there before, remember? Fools!
WHAT WE NEED THE WOYANIE TO DO IS ABIDE BY LAW AND ACCEPT UNCONDITIONALLY, THE INTERNATIONALY DETERMINED BORDER DECISSION. AND, OFCOURSE GET THE HELL OUT OF OUR LAND. PERIOD! IS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK?

  • FACT-is-FACT January 1, 2012

    Mr T. ,
First off, Happy new year to you too & the world at large and the annihilated people of Eritrea in particular! Per New Year, Year of 2012, inviting you Asmara’s delicious Macchiato embedded by the Timeless music by the man himself. His pain, his people’s pain is achingly beautifully lyric’ ed. No-one like the man. I mean no-one really vibrate our soul! Yemane Barya was a man to Eritreans (that reflected a not-so-diluted passion based on true Justice. No selective Justice the way Malcolm X expressed his anger & passion for black people’s subjugation and humiliation including you and I):
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bom7C_Nl9TE
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2KiId_dfMvU&feature=related

I am all wired up & jacked up with Macchiatto & Barya’s songs and am spilling the beans in their originality.

Secondly, I commend that you actually debated in a civilized manner in your response. That is what is expected of people especially people like yourself who have the ability to articulately express themselves in the way you did. Anywhere you go on this earth, only those that are on the throne who rules by the power-of-the-gun and their benefit-bound supporters, abettors resort to insult, intimidation and violence. What is the reason?
    ..cnt’d

  • FACT-is-FACT January 1, 2012

    Cnt’d….
The Reason is not as complicated as Probability & statistics. It is as simple as 1x + 1x = 2x. That simple! But why do they resort to such extreme measures of mouth-stick-bullet violence? What are they afraid of? What is their inner fear? While they are humans in appearance but their evil, cruel actions say something else. They are so PROACTIVE in even pursuing, mistrusting their own shades. We are talking terrorizing their own citizens from Argentina of the 70’s to Ethiopia of the 70’s Red-Terror, and now to today’s Eritrea. And if these power-holders do it to their own citizens, then what is there to be surprised by what “Weyane the barbaric” has done to Eritreans (us the Addis Ababans and all the others in all Ethiopian towns/cities)? Brother Mr. T. You are preaching to the priests.

So, if you truly felt our, (80k+) deportees’, pain & humiliation at the hands of Weyane then –Let us spill the beans for you- ! You (Eritreans in Eritrea) cannot use us (deportees) in a SELECTIVE mode of political paper-cup. (a) You condemn Weyane for the way it treated us, deportees, right? Very Good! The buck should have stopped there! But it didn’t! How?
    ..Cntd …

  • FACT-is-FACT January 1, 2012

    Cnt’d …
You (many in Eritrea) then turned-around and exploited the cultural & emotional misunderstanding that surfaced between the deportees (us) and the locals. You, as educated Eritreans & the leadership, failed us both the deportees & the locals.
Matter-of-fact , embarrassingly, the President of Eritrea himself who was supposed to be a “statesman” to bring our people together actually become the catalyst in pouring gasoline to the fire that was lit, by saying publicly on national TV: “ezom kab B’EluG hager zemetsu ..) . And, embarrassingly, many educated Eritreans (talk about being an educated and lacking individuality and being a follower of the pack) followed suit of his ugly divisive & insidious actions in deliberately to put a wedge amongst our people. Talk about divide-n-rule! .

It doesn’t matter which way, you put it or gel it. No amount of excuse, reasoning, justification, rationalization would be acceptable. If you try to do, then that sums it all up as to why Eritrea is failed by its Educated & the leaders, not by its Ordinary people.

  • FACT-is-FACT January 1, 2012

    Cnt’d…
The Dignified ordinary people of Eritrea who used wisdom & reason to help us (deportees) lick our wound and nurtured us with their Love. The President & his lots, however, had to use us as a card to escape from many of the Upheavals, realities and mess that they put Eritrea in. So, if each of us (learned, elucidated, educated) could knock & tap our individual sincerity with ourselves, We CANNOT condemn Injustice executed by the “barbaric Weyane” and Condone Injustice executed by PFDJ to anyone (Eritreans & Ethiopians).

Our Injustice measuring matrix CANNOT be GRAY to one but Black to another! Injustice ANYWHERE IS INJUSTICE EVERYWHERE! I condone NO Injustice by Weyane or PFDJ!

Since “weyane” is calling for a face-to-face to IMPLEMENT the demarcation then what is the fear for Eritreans like yourself who are educated who are expected to vision things beyond pride? What is the GOE or PFDJ is so fearful about? If the GOE has something GOOD for Eritrea and its People then Pride ain’t be a factor at all. Deception ain’t work no more. The entire world is against it. No neighbour is in GOOD terms with GOE. Can we be Honest adults here please Mr. T at least for a split second? No neighbouring nation is talking to the Eritrean rulers. So what is imprisoning GOE & its “educated, elucidated, enlightened” supporters from the Meet the face-to-face weyane call for the sake of our people and our Eritrea’s future?

  • FACT-is-FACT January 1, 2012

But what is it that we are afraid of? You made it sound like as though like: A young innocent Girl crossing to unchartered territory where her fate of –Feminine Dignity would surely be violated by those lawless boys/men. If that is NoT what you/GOE fear then why NOT the face-to-face since that is our ONLY way to redeem Eritrea from the predicament of No war NO PEACE Zone that the weyane is playing with. Why fear the inevitable? Why but why? Why can’t you be truthful & Sincere. Eritrea wins the Meet Face-to-Face, but not PFDJ & its fool and deliberate supporters.

Not pride really, but a evil design by those who are holding on to power, are holding millions of people’s life hostage just because the -Meet “weyane” face-to-face!- will eventually, inevitably conclude the hostage rope that Eritrea is tied with. The Question to our enlightened intellectuals is this: Where is that intellectual flexibility, reason, out-of-the-box train-of-thoughts that educated are supposed to be endowed with and practiced!?
Where is it? If “weyane is playing” that card of face-to-face then why not, we -the winners of reality on the ground but losers of pride on the surface- are afraid of the “–alright then let us meet-face-to-face” ? Unless we go and discover and play that card and then prepare ourselves for another card, we will never know. We will be kept hostage forever until Eritrea dies a painful death! Heaven forbid for the sake of our martyrs. /END/

      FACT-is-FACT
Very interesting and straight forward ideas. You put it as it is, we should be
honest to ourselves first before we jump on others. Our prior concern must
concentrate to look a way how to save the people from these disasterous
system in our country. I beleive after 20 yrs dictatorial rule Eritreans need
a change. Enough is enough, our people in general back home deserve better
than this, those who are entertaining themselves on the price of our people’s
suffering I ask them to show a little compassion for God sake & have mercy.
At this moment many of us refuse to be hostages of this Wayane monomania
because by now we realised it is their tactics to divert us from the main issues
      and continue their manupulative agenda.

  • FACT-is-FACT January 1, 2012

OH, by the way – do NOT be surprised if you see countless of us -amichettat- having sleepless nights by what Eritrea and our people are going thru. If you think you, ONLY those who were born and grown up in Eritrea, are the only that has “true passion and a stake about Eritrea and its people” – think twice, trice. And ask Alemseged Tesfai whether his encounter with the Amiche Tegadalai in his “ክልተ ቅነ አብ ድፋዓት ! book is fictionalized or true story. No doubt about its truthness.
። ። ሐቂ’ዶ !?

    • Mr. T January 1, 2012

      Fact-is-fact:

Let me say it one more time in case you are not getting it. The reason why the two parties decided to settle their border dispute at the international court of arbitration is because they were not WILLING AND READY to meet face-to-face and settle the dispute. What could be CLEARER than this simple statement? Please stop rambling on and write pages with something that does not make sense. It is really a waste of your precious time. What Isias and others said about the deportees has nothing to do with the injustices of the barbaric woyane regime. If you have not lost your love of Ethiopia yet after all that dehumanizing and atrocious woyane’s treatment to you and thousands more others, I think you can still ask the woyane regime to give you back your Ethiopian citizenship.

      • GOOD MAN January 11, 2012

        Mr. T nonsense get lost.

    • Wey Gud January 3, 2012

      Fact – is – Fact

What a nonsense! you were rambling all over. To tell you the truth, if you can’t grasp the well put, fact and to the point analysis of Mr. T, then you are either a brain dead or simply a person standing for the Woyanie. And hey, I don’t even beleive for a second you are an Amiche. No way! You are simply trying in vain, to create a crack between the Eritrean people and the Eritrean Government (By the way, Eritrean is Eritrean, we don’t classify or profile or label our people – tell that to your masters the woyanie)
In all your rambling of “Fear To face to cace” nonsense, not even once did you point your gun at the main criminal here, the Woyanie! why? you claim to be an Eritrean, right? if so, you want your own country to bow and bend to injustice? and do you know, if it is not curbed in its initial stage, you cant put boundary to injustice. Mr T, nice as he is, summarizeda nice paragraph for you, twice. don’t you get it? we can translate it into Amharic , for your convenience, if you want.
