It’s easy to resist an evil regime when people get chance to exchange ideas, experience and form a common understanding of what is going on around them.
The brutal regime has been working very hard to deny Eritreans any chance to form a public opinion on events that take place in the country. Any attempt to get together and discuss a political issue is severely punished (isn’t that the daily work of spy networks that report on the public mood and what people say around the country). The strategy is to keep people separated, confused, weakened and busy in unproductive projects, using well known tactics used by fascist military cliques.
To counter this diabolic strategy of the regime, we should encourage people to show solidarity with each other, stress the importance of working together, foil any attempt of dividing people along religion, sect, region, ethnicity etc.
Simplify the message: No one is safe, until we all act in unison, look at the bigger picture, postpone or discard petty and secondary issues. Start at home, in your home, among your group, your tribe, your region, etc. to dwell on issues that divide and weaken us as people.

Once again we see the situation deteriorate.Every thing that we see or hear from Eritrea is one worse than the other. What is dangerous is that we are getting habuated to things or situations that we should’nt.Every abnormal thing and situation is becoming normal ,when they should’nt.It is time say “it is enough”,but all together and with common concrete actions. If not we will continue to cry and more.

Eritreans are cowards. the dictator government gave them weapons and still abuse them. Instead of standing up for their freedom with the weapons, they committ suicide or run away. Isaias is very confident that nobody will harm him.

The only political weapon can scare the current regime is unity of the Eritrean people. The second one is those who support the regime to withdraw their service.without the support the government will colapse within 24 hours.

Can some one try to help me here what’s the picture all about ? What is supposed to be sending the message for and what can the public learn from looking at the pic. I honestly didn’t get the message behind it.

    • taffla December 15, 2013

The message is grand parents are forced to carry weapons when they should have rested and enjoy their golden ages.

      • Abdu December 16, 2013

I would advise our people to open their eyes. The evil dictator is using, the divide and rule method. He is taking advantage from the lack of unity of our people. Now the Eritrean public is rising to push the oppositions to unite in order to get rid of this blood thirst dictator from our land.

This is such a travesty. But remember the fact everyone is now armed is key to change. And if these people we see in the picture think it is time to take action – well this is it. It cannot be better than this. If there is a “man” in Eritrea and thinks the situation is ugly and something needs to be done – well, no more excuses of not having the edge – they are now handed the ammunition. But then they need to do it with no compromise to their plan. Last time we heard on January 21 – things got compromised and the end game was similar to the earlier in the 90’s coup attempt.

Now, Since there is no trust and it would be simply crazy to trust anyone in Eritrea – whoever does the action now – must know – actions have to be done with extremely precision. Once you think of it – forget not that “you” are boldly facing life and death once “you” think “you” are ready to take the bold action. Anyone who comes across seemingly a peace maker – he or she needs to be taken care of right from the get go.

Third time could be a charm – First was G-15 (I think these folks tried peacefully); Second was January 21 of 2013 (Tried with some courage but many failed him – although I say poorly executed); Now – third or fourth time ought to be a charm! Good luck Eritrea and God bless Eritrea…..
