B’ana zHalefe,You can’t say otherwise to get granted the refuge status,however you don’t have to worry about returning to Eritrea the gov’t will not accept deportees not because of the pathetic reasons assena mentioned here but because the gov’t doesn’t want people who ever reached to a better destination to return home empty handed.hence his policy regarding asylum seeking is”defame the govt as much as you can inorder to fill the criteria”,so don’t worry about deportation and don’t fear of being held accountable for what you say.

Even though I do not agree most of the time with your comments trying to defend the government while turning a blind eye to the plight of Eritrean, I totally agree with what you posted today. It is a fact that the govenment of Eritrea does not want anybody to return back to his country empty pocket.

If Eritrea was heaven, like they would like us to believe, the first two people to return to Eritrea would be Ghideon and Sophia. We know better, we would like you to know that, a government that does not safeguard the interests of its people can not be trusted. Dr Ghideon, instead of going at length explaining, how fraud the reasoning behind the sanction is we would like to ask you why does the Eritrean government choose to be its people’s enemy. Why doesn’t care when its youth are leaving the country and subjected to horrible crimes? Why is it painful to them to hear about sanctions than the pain of its citizens? Ghideon you were referring the African countries as “Kedemti”,how about yourself? yourself? how involved are you in the political process? Aren’t you a mouth piece?

You did good interview with Gere and Haile. I know them personally and I would like to assure them that the government of Eritrea will not accept anyone to be repatriated back to Eritrea. The main policy of the government is to export people and it knows that it is a profitable business. The government of Eritrea becomes nervous with the news of Israel hinting at deporting Eritrean refugees from Israel to Eritrea. Seeing the prospect of fleeing only few from Eritrea is a cause of concern for the government. Its main policy is to see MORE AND MORE people leave Eritrea and again SEND back to the nation foreign Currency. I assure you the government will never accept any person, maybe only those who are instigating the nationals int the diaspora to rise against the government like haile and Gere.
