I think it is clear to me , well it was clear from the get go not that it is now by the way, that almost every Eritrean has some sick bone in his head. This person who is called Andebrhan Welde-Ghiorgis is clearly now coughing the beans. When all the dirt was going on in Eritrea he was enjoying the ride. Now he is coming out as clean. Well, I would not trust with my last breath. First of all – this (thinking he is she is agama or not) is the very element that has given Eritrea its demise. All of us talking dirt behind others. Acting like we are like “one pure race”. Well, dear Eritreans – we are not. Even if you want to leap forward and see the fabric of Eritrea – I see many Eritreans from every corner. German Eritreans, American-Eritreans, Sudan-Eritreans, Nigerian-Eritreans, Australian-Eritreans….shall I say more? Add to that Ethiopian-Eritreans or Agame-Eritreans. You take a pick and you will find one. I am sure we all say – behind everyone that – he or she is not 100% Eritrean. So for Issayas to say – we say that Issayas is not pure Eritreans – it should not be new but what is interesting is that Andebrhan Welde-Ghiorgis used it in his book in order to stir up more people. If Andebrhan Welde-Ghiorgis had some balls – he had a chance when Andebrhan Welde-Ghiorgis was operating on his function to take care of business. So, my dear Eritreans it is not that Issayas is either half or full Eritreans that is sickening – it is his way of ruling that is sickening. For that let us all work throw the system off the cliff. Not for where Issayas is from. As to Andebrhan Welde-Ghiorgis though – he is a scum of the earth and I wish Eritrea never had Andebrhan Welde-Ghiorgis.
Instead of focusing on what to do next and what to work together for the better of Eritrea – We are all chewing in every house and coffee shops counting the roots of people. Get real and get moving and get together to remove the crumbling gov. and system in Eritrea.

I am just curious about the EIA. Are these lawyers or do they have any lawyers? If they do, are they doing anything to address criminals that who are still roaming around in the western world with no fear at all? If not, what the heck are they doing? Or this is just another BS and disappear in few weeks.
Also, to use Andebrhan as an example is a very poor of judgement. Forget about old crimes he has done (observing all the killings and doing nothing is a crime itself) but what did he say when the G-11 were arrested? He called them traitors. This guy never even apologize for that and you are willing to forgive him? Well, this doesn’t make any sense. Let him apologize for all his wrong deeds and we can try to forgive him.
This guy is dumped by isayas, not the other way around. He is very opportunistic, greedy and sneeky a Highly Educated Idiot.
Isayas didn’t commit all these criminal acts alone. He had people committing most of the crimes for him and most of them are Eritreans. So, let’s not blame isayas alone.

As long as peasants from Hamassin think Isaias as thier king, there won’t be any uprising. Isaias has ruled this country by ethnic lines and empowered the Hamassin. I haven’t met any person from Hamassin who opposes dictator Isaias Afewerki. For them what matters is he is from Tselot. I am sure there are good people from hamassin region. Almost all major Generals are from Hamassin region. Asha meslika drarom wedalom yeblu abotatna. Those who are syping for HGDF and defending this brutal government are almost all hail from Hamassin.
It is time for Akeleguzay and Seray poeple to come together by eliminating the artificial animosity implanted by foreigners. Of course our brother lawlanders do not have this kind of artificial division. Highlanders and lawlanders should work together to root out this rascal from Eritrea.

First, Andberhan probably is closer by blood to me, compare to many of you want to sound like Seraye.
2) I call an apple an apple, it doesn’t matter what day it is or where it is. Andebrehan and G. Bitweded are from Seraye and don’t tell me which one is good and which one is the spoiler.
3) The victims of 73 are not all from Akel-Guzay. They were from other regions as well. How about the Yemin and G-11? Try to learn the whole picture.
4) Avoid saying there are good people from Akele or something like that. Of course, there are. It is everywhere that there are good and bad people. This goes to the family level – forget about county region.
5) Any person who blames another county is most probably a regionalist him/herself.

We hear something What Isayas said, the next thing we know is we are at each others throat. We need to acknowledge the problem of regionalism is one of the factors helped Isayas where he is now. All Eritreans and regions have to take responsibility for that. At this time, some of our people are supporting Isayas and the PFDJ system, because of personal gain. Believe it or no, some of our people from all regions are supporting Isayas, not because they are gaining something, but the lack of viable alternative. Why can’t we have an inclusive and viable alternative to Isayas? We all have to answer this question. As far as I am concerned, any one who served the Isayas’s regime as an official, should come clean. If we want the Eritrean people to forgive and forget, those officials have to speak candidly to the Eritrean people. Regionalism and double standers are the two monsters need to be kept under good control.
rahwa, sister you seem to be very intelligent, articulated and I appreciate your input. I believe You and Mighty have some misunderstanding on the current topic. a strange thing happens on Assenna forum as soon as an issue that has to do with tegadelti or andebrhan is raised. people who are normally wise and bright turn to immature people. when we know the problem is the regime back home and its system why do we have to judge people b/s they were tegadelti or they happen to be from this or that region? what does it mean? as i see it some particular regions are targeted. and it is so dangerous. we need to see where we are going. we need to know people are watching what we say and how we say it. if you target certain individuals based on their origin or their background then you better remember that those certain individuals share their origin and their background with many others. we are not trying to replace isayas’s dictatorship with another, are we? let’s get rid of dictatorship and replace it with democracy and rule of law. these regional tendencies are ugly and they won’t get anyone anywhere.

Mike is very right about the issue of roots. There is not such thing as pure Eritrean person. We are all Habesha – a mixed race. Eritrea located on the gateway to Africa and the Middle East, it had the opportunity of being visited by several races – including from Europe and Asia. Intermixing of races results complex roots. The future Eritrean will be still more complex in roots – with intermixing with almost all races in the world. So it is useless basing our assessment of the Eritrean dilemma in regard to roots. Rather we should assess the personal character and the history of the criminal actions of the person in question if we have the information right. What’s the solution?
Our martyrs fought two enemies
1) Ethiopia military in the front
2) The mad dog Isayas and his blind followers in the back.
They killed our people .
They took down our liberation flag and replaced it by their own flag. (Ethiopians by Ethiopian flag; HIGDEF by HIGDEF’s flag)
They terrorized and ruled us.
We should all focus on the mad dog Isayas wedi medhin Berad the ድያብሎስ Isayas and his blind followers HIGDEF and stop them by any mines from destroying our land and our people.
Down to the mad dog, the tyrant dictator and his followers!

ብዕራይ ናብ ዘበለ የብል ዕርፊ ኣጽንዕ ኢዩ’ሞ: ኣጆኹም ደቀይን ደቂ-ደቀይን ጀጋኑ መንእሰያትና። ኩላትና ብሓበራ ኢደይ-ኢድካ ኢልና ነዚ መንነትና ዘዋረደን ንኤርትራ ዘብርስ ዘሎን ኣረሜን፣ ናብቲ ቀዳሞት ኣያታቱ በዓል ሳዳምን ቃዛፊን ዝኣተዉዋ ናይ ዘለኣለም መዓልብኡ ጋህሲ ንደርብዮ። ኣብ ታሪኽ ከም ዝረኣናዮን ዝሰማዕናዮን ውልቀ-ምልካውያን መራሕቲ ብዘይካ ብክፉእ ብጽቡቕ ኣማውታ እግዚኣብሄር ክሞቱ ኣይተራእዩን። ሞት ገበነኛ ኢሰያስ እውን ከም ኣማውታ ኣያታቱ ነዊሕ ዝጸንሕ ኣይኮነን። እዚ ዓመት’ዚ ጸላኢና ዓንዩ ህዝብና ነናብ ገዝኡ ዝኣትወሉ ዓመት ከም ዝኸውን ሙሉእ ዘይጉዱል እምነት ኣሎኒ።

I like your name ,but ,you seem to concentrate on one thin branch of the problem.There is foundamental difference in my thinking & your’s.
I do not believe Isaias is the source of all Eritrean evil.
Our way of thinking is ,,We think like Niggers & slaves ..instead of decent Africans. If we do not change our way of thinking ,trust me ,I am 56 years young..we will have it worse when Papa Isaias happens to bve overthrown.I have always said the Illness of REGIONALISM is more poisoneous than that of RELIGION..As Eritrean moslems do not act like Arabs ,I guess thery do not know the Quran ,Good for us ,of other religion.
Please think broadly ,Isaias is asymptom not the illness.
Eritrea has far more illnesses than Isaias ,,If not you would seeme denouncing Isaias in my outdated poems.
