I care less about others , my concern is about Eritreans twisted hard to understand situations . All
the non-sense irrelevant topics does not get to my head . Because I am beyond that stupidity not to
fell a victim again . WEDEHAMKUM ! good luck you all to bring back your composure to see reality on
the problems on Eritrean ground .
I am writing in protest against your recent post Head to Head – What is wrong with Islam today? – AlJazeera English with Mahdi Hassan. I am fully aware of the right of expression and freedom. But I find the post extremely irrelevant to our Eritrean context. My question is what is the benefit of posting this video – specially at this particular timing? Have you ever posted similar cases in your web-page before? What is the stated and unstated assumptions about Islam here? Well I don’t know … it is for these reasons that I find the video inflammatory and irrelevant! If you are in the business of posting anything in your website – without justifying, at least post this more educating, less sensitive and more relevant to our context. Check this out

One of Africa’s most renowned young authors discusses the need to challenge the dominant narrative about the continent.
I think, Amanuel didn’t bring this discussion to attack Islam . What was fantastic about this discussion was, how the east and the west sat together and they were civil with one another. You don’t have to be educated to participate. All you need is respect, for your fellow human beings, and to be honest. Our people back home solve their problems the same way. They call it bayto. We don’t need wars. We can solve any problem if people are independent thinkers, instead of being defensive. That’s what I got out of it. I also admire Irshad Manji
for living her truth and for being courageous.
